The distance spacing for these is actually almost the same as the ones in the first section, it's the slider velocity changes that make it look a bit weird, although I did notice that this one was slightly off so i've fixed that one

If you were to keep these though, keep in mind you should still try to emphasize beats being slid on, for example, 00:22:840 - you might want to make a sharp directional change on the slider here, applies to all sliders

00:34:658 (2) - I think the best choice for rhythm here would be a 1/1 repeat slider, followed by a single note. While this does defeat you trying to follow the vocals, the thing is, the vocals can't really be followed well on easy. It's better for focus the stronger beats here than the vocal

01:06:476 (1) - It would be better if you have the direction change on 01:07:157 - instead to make vocal emphasized

I personally disagree with this, i like the look of these half ish overlaps since it gives a good indication of timing (imo anyway for a low bpm song like this) and also makes it readable for some new players (even though they probably won't be playing insane anyway) and they don't even look that bad to me q.q Also i think the jump from 5/6 is fine imo, but will change depending on further feedback

nothing much to say but I 'd recommend making this slider 01:02:839 (1) - into a 1/1 slider followed by a note
making it reverse doesnt emphasis much on this section unlike some parts like 01:13:748 (1) - this and 00:20:113 (3) - because you use reverse mostly on parts that has vocals throughout and the reverse slider that I pointed out (the one that I recommend you to change) only has vocals on the first tick and not the rest (I hope you understand the explanation xd)

and if you really like hs and care about them
maybe put the snare onto ticks like this 01:06:476 (1) - since it is missing some important elements in the song (followed by the rest of the sliders that are similar to this)

might change this, if i do this suggestion i don't have a way of keeping the flow into the next section and lose a bit of consistency slider wise, but i understand what you mean by theres no vocal and only drum here

this flow is intentional, it acts as a sort of build up into the next section, this is why the combo after this also has a sharper flow compared to the rest of the beginning

So it feels a little underwhelming that places like 00:56:476 (3) – and 00:57:385 (1) – have relatively low spacing compared to earlier sections like 00:19:203 (4) - and 00:23:749 (1) – (for this last one, you should definitely have a strong jump there, just not one that sets my expectations too high that I get underwhelmed if you don't make 00:57:385 (1) – strong too). This is one reason I've been pestering you about lowering some of the spacings in the earlier parts, which is one way to approach this issue, but also just increasing the spacing for the chorus works, though a little of both is probably best. Another thing I like to do, at least of Insane difficulties, is to make the SV bigger in the stronger sections, so I could see an SV of 1.10x for the kiai being nice, though it's fine without it. So it feels a little underwhelming that places like 00:56:476 (3) – and 00:57:385 (1) – have relatively low spacing compared to earlier sections like 00:19:203 (4) - and 00:23:749 (1) – (for this last one, you should definitely have a strong jump there, just not one that sets my expectations too high that I get underwhelmed if you don't make 00:57:385 (1) – strong too). This is one reason I've been pestering you about lowering some of the spacings in the earlier parts, which is one way to approach this issue, but also just increasing the spacing for the chorus works, though a little of both is probably best. Another thing I like to do, at least of Insane difficulties, is to make the SV bigger in the stronger sections, so I could see an SV of 1.10x for the kiai being nice, though it's fine without it. Ok I understand what you're getting at here and have applied some of your suggestions, although I think you need to look at what I'm following at each section of the music, and the style of the map in those specific sections. I try to keep a consistency throughout the map for each section, and whilst I have emphasized some of that in the chorus I could also emphasize it a little better (which I have done so) but I have not changed any of the spacing in the lower section purely because of the intensity of the vocal/drum section that I am following.

I did watch that video you linked and it did give me some tips (and also helped me a little for my course at uni) but most of it was inapplicable due to the difference between horror games and rhythm games, some people find more relaxing maps more fun than crazy jump maps and due to the nature of this song I decided to go with a more relaxing style with appropriate climax points instead of bigger jumps at occasional places to emphasize one part better and another part worse. I hope this made sense XD

Also another reason for preferring a denser rhythm is you put 2 1/1 repeat sliders and it's kinda bland imo.
  2. 00:34:658 (4) - Like, you just suddenly decided to follow vocal here while the rest of the song you mapped other objects on instruments. So it's outright confusing when you have to switch between vocals and drums on 00:34:658 (4,5) . My suggestion here is if you didn't map vocal in the first place then don't map it randomly, just ignore those vocals on blue ticks and map instruments normally. Same applies to 00:55:567 (1) - 00:59:203 (1) .
[Hard]

  1. 00:00:794 (2,4,2,4) - Would be much better in this section if you didn't ignore those white ticks there, imo white ticks sounds more audible compared to some of the red ones you mapped.
  2. 00:34:658 (1,2) - Same thing as Normal I guess, I tripped up 00:35:567 (3,4,5) completely because I thought I was following vocal.
  3. 00:53:749 (3,4) - I find this uncomfortable due to a high spacing here unlike 01:23:748 (4,5) .
[Insane]

  1. 00:08:522 (5,6) - Not sure if it's just me but the spacing here is soo biggg.
  2. 00:41:703 (6,1) - This really deserves more spacing imo.

    00:32:840 (1) - ^ you'll find that the red points are slightly off the beats in this one. They should be exactly on the white ticks for best effect.
  2. 00:51:022 (1) - This looks a bit plain, in my opinion, how about this?
  3. 01:06:476 (1) - I'd suggest making the red point more defined, for example like this:

    Because right now it feels too subtle in my opinion.
    01:08:294 (3) - Remember to place them exactly on the beat (go to the beat on the timeline and line the slider up to the turn is exactly on the ball). Anyway, enough of that.
  4. 01:10:112 (1) - I'd make this note a slider with tail on 01:11:021 , because you're sort of missing the vocal here.
  5. 01:24:885 (1) - Try not to include spinners at the end of the song if the ending is soft. Remember that the player will, if they are trying to get a high score, be spinning very intensely and it probably won't fit to the music at all. Perhaps you should just remove the spinner and end the difficulty instead, that'd be fine in my opinion.
  6. The rest looks fine, you've got a good consistent rhythm going here.

  1. 00:59:203 (1) - This repeat is longer than the others, feels strange holding the following slider for a shorter amount of time than the others. Consider perhaps making 01:00:112 (2,3) a slider, like the one at 00:56:476 (2) , which also has a longer repeat before it.
  2. 01:24:657 (1) - This note is extremely close to the spinner, plus it's not even in the middle, which makes the mouse movement really clunky if you're looking to get highest score out of the spinner. You may even want to remove the spinner entirely, because of the same reason I mentioned in easy.
    If you're thinking of keeping the spinner, consider ending it at 01:27:157 at least, since the music drops off from here.
  3. Avoid placing two 1/1 sliders of the same combo after each other in normal difficulties, it gets sort of dull. 00:46:476 - You could make this a 1/2 slider and a circle, for example.

  4. I didn't notice anything else in this difficulty.

  1. 00:00:113 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - I can't really see what beat you're following here. Consider making it similar to the insane difficulty, but with less jumps and perhaps one less note here and there.
  2. 00:25:567 (1,2,3,4) - Just a suggestion, but you could make every other slider reversed so it makes it slightly more difficult to play.

    This fits pretty well, look at 00:21:931 for example, it uses the same technique.
    If you want to keep this pattern consistent throughout the whole song you could do something similar at
    01:06:476 and 01:08:294 perhaps, just a suggestion, though.
  3. 01:11:930 - This whole combo was quite difficult to follow, in my opinion, probably because of this part 01:12:612 (3,4,5,6,7) , where it goes from repeat to slider and circle to circle and circle very quickly. Perhaps you could make 01:13:067 (4,5) a repeat like the other one and 01:13:521 (6,7) a slider instead?
  4. 01:24:771 (1) - Refer to what I said in the previous difficulties about the spinner. Plus 01:24:657 (1) is very far from the middle.
