one of these NCs should be deleted imo 04:19:308 (1,1) -

also no kiai time? Even kiai bursts would be good for sections like 03:37:089 (1)

  1. If you're going for ranked, see these, otherwise feel free to ignore them.

    1. The audio bitrate is currently 320 kbps. Consider compressing it to the highest rankable quality, 192 kbps.

      Ranking Criteria - Audio wrote:

The song's audio file must be of reasonable quality. /.../ The bitrate of a beatmap's audio file must be no lower than 128kbps and no higher than 192kbps.
    2. More things come to mind, for example spread, length of map, etc. Although I'm sure you're already aware.
  2. Might as well fill out the metadata using the official youtube video, so people can find it easier.

    I'll check hitsounding

  3. There's some unnecessary stuff in the map, not necessary to remove, but I'll copy what my program printed in case you'd like to clean it up. Often times the mapper will have forgotten to add a hitsound, mistakingly made it an addition instead of sampleset, missed a volume change or similar.
    unnecessary achor tails

    02:48:296 -

    unnecessary timing sections

    00:02:538 - 00:02:707 - 00:21:078 - 00:21:162 - 00:21:415 - 00:49:898 - 02:15:684 - 02:47:370 - 02:50:235 - 02:52:342 - 04:16:190 - 04:19:898 -

    unnecessary additions

    00:14:757 - 00:17:201 - 02:09:448 - 02:09:617 - 02:09:785 - 02:09:869 - 02:09:954 - 02:10:123 - 02:10:291 - 03:55:460 - 03:58:578 - 04:02:454 -
    00:02:538 - might've missed changing the custom sampleset to 3 and then back to 1 at 00:02:707 - , for example. Same goes for 00:21:078 - 00:21:162 - etc.

  4. 00:09:954 - This drum sampleset would preferably be removed for the sake of reflecting the song properly, as there isn't a drum-kick here, unlike at 00:09:448 - .

  5. 00:50:235 - These drum-hitnormals, of D:C60, are not actually drum-kicks. They're currently the default drum hitnormal. Consider copying one of the drum-kick hitnormals and renaming the copy to "drum-hitnormal60".

  6. 00:54:954 - Missing drum sampleset and keysounding

  7. 01:33:044 - The following whistles in this section could gradually increase in volume to match the song.

  8. 02:06:920 - Isn't this normal addition supposed to be on 02:06:752 - ?

  9. 02:56:302 - 02:56:471 - Missing whistles with normal additions according to previous pattern. Don't really see a reason why it'd be strayed from.
    ^ 02:58:999 -
    ^ 03:01:696 - 03:01:864 -
    ^ 03:03:044 -

  10. The normal addition pattern looks awfully inconsistent in the phases of 02:43:156 - and 03:37:089 - onwards.

    1. 02:45:179 - Listen closely to this sound and compare it to 02:47:875 - . You'll notice it's the same sound, yet the map has hitsounded these differently.
^ 02:55:965 - Same thing happens here, same sound goes here 02:58:662 -

    2. 02:44:842 - This is neither hitsounded from it's sound nor from it's position within the measure. The sound reoccurs countless of times within this section with varying pitch and none other has a normal addition like this within the same beat of the measure.

    3. Compare these patterns
      03:38:100 - with 03:59:673 -
      03:39:785 - with 04:01:358 -
      03:40:797 - with 04:02:370 -
      03:42:819 - with 04:04:392 -
      03:43:493 - with 04:05:066 -
      03:45:179 - with 04:06:752 -
Theses groups are consistent, as they are parallel hypermeasures of the same phase, and that's good.

      There is one example I didn't include though, 03:44:505 - with 04:06:078 - , consider unifying these.

    4. Try keeping the pattern musically structured. Placing them at random intervals after each other over the whole hypermeasure will often fail to produce a recognizable pattern even if they are technically consistent. Something like you did earlier at 02:43:156 - would work great in both parts actually. Place the whistles with normal additions on the 3rd and half beat of each measure. If the half beat is missing, solely place it on the 3rd beat.
  11. 03:47:201 - Not sure I agree with this drum sampleset. Same goes for 03:55:291 - . This hardly even sounds like a drum-kick from what I can hear.

  12. 03:48:550 - 04:03:381 - 04:10:123 - 04:16:864 - etc Compare these to 03:39:111 - 03:41:808 - 03:44:505 - etc. Are you going to map these as whistles or not? Choose one and stick to it. Trust me, "varying" does not work well with hitsounding, unless done very consistently, since it makes the audio feedback less predictable and recognizable.
    ^ Do the same for 03:45:853 - 03:51:246 - 03:53:943 - 03:56:639 - 04:15:516 - etc and 04:07:426 - as well.
Good luck!

Oh shit I'm not the first who wanted this for christmas
I need to know when you'll finish this so that I can have it done before xd

Edit: Just asking about metadata, what source did you take, because I'm not sure if that artist is officially correct
