My stamina is fine. I can stream pretty well for long amounts of time. I've been progressing from insane to extra recently. My wrist only started hurting a couple days ago, even though i've been moving over from insane to extra for around a week or something.HK_ wrote:
Your hand is obviously not ready for the stuff you are playing, go back to hards till you grind some stamina or keep playing insanes but make frequent breaks and dont play 14253647568 hours every day.
you seems to improving so fast that your fingers cant keep up and they says "ouch it hurts". let them rest, and try some other modes instead! or different gameGummy wrote:

I am alternating, and it's not my fingers hurting. It's the lower part of my wrist, which starts to ache, and eventually turn painfull after playing for an hour or so.Agrrox wrote:
try to hit fast but not hard (smart hits) i use to do that cause i felt that i can't keep up and insanely hard tapping will make me better ;w;.
When streaming I use to bottom out my keyboard so hard i couldn't keep up with stamina and my fingers started to hurt.
If your fingers hurt from single tapping you can try to alternate keys like ZXZX.
Your play count is still low for stuff you have in top ranks try to play some hards under 180 bpm and try to not tense while playing
Also important is difference between pain and sore. If it pain you should give time for your fingers to regenerate.
do you rest your wrist on something ? whats your keyboard ergonomics while playing ?Gummy wrote:

Lol, i'm kinda addicted to osu!, which is probably the cause. I don't know why, but i just really love clicking circles. It's probably due to my ADHD since when i play osu! i'm able to concentrate over long periods of time, which is something i have a hard time doing usually due to the ADHD.Agrrox wrote:

I rest them on my mousepad, which is an XL long Razer one. I don't have a keyboard wrist rest (which i should probably buy), so the wrist generally is halfway on the mousepad and halfway on my desk.Agrrox wrote:

True, but recentcly the pain has started to come after just 30 - 40 minutes of play. A wrist rest is probably a good idea thou, so i'l probably get one soon.ztrot wrote:
I would suggest some type of wrist support if you really plan to be playing long term it is only natural to feel some discomfort for longer play sessions.
Lol, nothing wrong with guessing.HK_ wrote:
Oh well...at least i tried...
Actually its about you straight out ignoring my advice...Gummy wrote:

I do take frequent breaks when i play. I didn't ignore your advice man. I don't have the problem with my right hand.HK_ wrote:

I kinda had the same problem with my right hand...Not like someone didnt...
Thanks man ^^Agrrox wrote:
try some wrist strechings.
If your wrist is hurting you're obviously not taking enough breaks.Gummy wrote:

Well, when i think about it, i do hit my keys too hard. Thanks ^^KukiMonster wrote:
Probably you hit keys too hard, have bad posture, or move unnecessary muscles. Wrists should only hurt when you're pushing 100000 key presses in one session.
So, buy a wristrest, and take some time off the circle jerk? (no pun intended)jaaakb wrote:
i would try taking a day off, then if it starts hurting after 30 mins again stop and take another day off. you might be playing too intensive maps too soon, try getting some warmup that is not so depanding, stretch your fingers/wrist before playing.
have your wrist straight when you play and have no small points of pressure on it (anything even slightly pointy pressing at it) it's good to have something soft under it or lift your wrist in the air when you play.
Maybe i should take a break between each beatmap, or two beatmaps, break, repeat. I'l figure something out. Thanks for the advice ^^Saphirshroom wrote:

Just tap softly. It might be harder at first but you get used to it then no more rsi
