Alright, here's my mod. Everything but the highest diff:

General: Be careful with your combo colors, the light blue and especially the purple are kinda hard to see against the background

00:34:809 (2,3) - here and many other places. the overlaps really don't look all that nice, I think increasing the distance of your DS would be beneficial for the whole map
00:43:279 (2,3,1) - the (2) beat here is pretty strong and occurs again between (3) and (1) - maybe there's a better way to map these two measures?
00:54:573 (2,3,1) - ^
01:01:632 (2,1) - map this to the crash or whatever that is? you're brought completely out of tact otherwise
01:18:573 (2) - the beat on the white tick is much stronger, maybe let the slider end there instead?
01:29:162 (1) - this should probably repeat once more and start on the other side because of that.
01:41:515 (3,1) - there's some fairly strong beats being ignored between those two, maybe a repeat slider could fix that?

01:20:691 (1,1,1) - I feel like this whole section could make better use of space, bigger and faster sliders maybe? It just feels so tiny if you get what I mean.

I'm not a big fan of your inconsistent triple/double usage but that's style I guess. I also feel like you overuse doubles, but that's probably me being bad.

It kinda does indeed, but in a normal diff you have to sacrifice some beats to play the map clean and easy to play. If I did as you suggested, I would have quite a mess of overlaps and a rhythm going from 1/3 to 1/4, which is really confusing for beginners
01:41:515 (3,1) - there's some fairly strong beats being ignored between those two, maybe a repeat slider could fix that? do you mean the wub-like sounds? that's debatable, but I don't see how a repeat slider would fix that

00:56:162 (4,5) - this sound is asking for some sort of fancy slider with lower SV heh, I guess it could indeed, not really a fan but I'll change it with more feedback

00:22:809 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - I would say for this part that it was unexpected and for 00:23:515 (4) - I would move it down a couple ticks.
00:26:691 (7,1) - Far Distance, maybe place the notes more closer?
00:37:985 (6,7) - Same as the previous.

I want to emphasize the snare in this section, that's why it's so far out, it plays fine as far as i can tell anyway (gameplay wise, it's actually closer because you don't need to move the cursor on (2) thanks to the slider leniency

It's a pattern that I use often in my maps, nobody really complained about it, but I guess you have to get used to it. If I get more complaints i'll change it for anothe pattern I had in mind.
00:22:809 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - I would say for this part that it was unexpected and for 00:23:515 (4) - I would move it down a couple ticks. this map is quite hard to read, i'm aware of it, this may feel unexpected but so is this part of the song. It plays just fine otherwise. For (4), if you observe the previous objects you can see their starts form a triangle, so the spacing is actually the same everywhere, there's no reason to reduce it just for (4)
00:26:691 (7,1) - Far Distance, maybe place the notes more closer? putting it closer may make it easier to aim, but would then make the jumps more linear, which is even worse to play than big jumps because linear jumps don't feel very natural to play unless they're using the same spacing, and preferable a short one
00:37:985 (6,7) - Same as the previous.
00:43:985 (1,2,3,4,5) - Cramped at the corner that can happen, it'd be bad if it was overflowing beyond the playfield, but this is okay
00:49:279 (6) - Distance is pretty far from the previous note, move the note to the center of the 4 notes? we have quite a lot of momentum here from the previous pattern, which should help make this jump feel more natural. Also don't forget this is the hardest difficulty, things will be harder
01:08:338 (2) - I suggest you put this note on the slider end (1) any reason why? I don't think the map needs a pause here, though I could consider it
01:09:044 (6) - I would suggest the same thing as well.

Thanks a lot for taking your time doing this, I'll give you some tips to help you make better mods in the future: don't bother with details unless you already know what you're trying to find, always justify your reasoning and if it's just personnal, it'll most likely be refused, unless you propose a better alternative (this happens very rarely)

Also since this is a strong and clean sound, it seems more appropriate to use a clean yet defined shape like this to represent it
  3. 01:25:015 (1) - i don't see why you woudn't want to end this spinner at 01:28:985 the whoosy sound still continues I do agree, but I wanted to stop it on the snare so it has a clear time to stop it, if I were to stop it later, it would be on an arbitrary beat which won't be as strong and defined as the snare

  1. you're putting this slider at a downbeat :/ imo that slider end should be clickable I don't think that's the proper definition of "downbeat", but I think I can see why you're saying the slider end should be clickable. There are a couple reasons it's not, first because I find it more natural rhythm-wise to allow a bit of rest after a stream, so placing a slider helps with that, if not we would end up with 5 consecutive circles and this would feel a bit overwhelming for a calm section like this. Second, I want to maintain that back-and-forth flow at the beginning of the measure, then break it for the piano notes to emphasize them, if I only put 2 sliders, this flow wouldn't be as defined and would not work
  2. 00:37:632 (5) - same here, the future sliders like these have the same 'issue' so i won't mention them

  2. 01:50:328 (1,2) - could work as 1 tick less on (1) and change 2 into a 1/1 slider since 01:50:799 - sounds the weakest of the 4
  3. 02:03:034 (1) - for all diffs: optional spinner with decreasing volume/slider after this since there is still a really audible sound and seems more like (1) is buildup for 02:03:210 - but its fine as it is aswell

  2. 00:44:858 (4) - extend by 1 tick these are more important than the piano imo and you do something similar at 01:13:269 (6,1) -

I don't see any issues on the lower two diffs. Overall a really good map.

I don't think i can dumb down this more than that, the patterns are already quite simple and the less dense i could make them without denaturing the song too much, which is difficult considering how diverse and structured the song is

I heared there is some lack of Taiko modders, so I thought giving my opinions about these difficulties.

Well structured beatmap. The placement of dons is very clean and following the song's beat in a nice way. I have just some points I would like to mention:

  1. 00:44:152 (38,39,40,41) - I believe kkkd might be better since it would fit to the d k d k... beat you have in this part.
  2. 00:55:446 (39,40,41,42) - ^
  3. 01:06:093 (37,38,39,40) - Should be at 01:05:740 as kkk 1/6 like you did for 01:00:093 (14,15,16) - . At 01:06:210 there is no real sound which would support it. Makes it sound weird, too.
  4. 01:29:505 (26,28) - Might be just me, but would suggest removing these. It's a bit hard getting into this beat after you had a 1/4 snapping. Imo fits a bit better too, since it gives dons more impact when staying alone.
  5. 01:51:740 (82,83,84,85,86,87,88,89) - Any reason why this is not the opposide pattern? dkkkkkkd d would be way more accurate to the song and hence, sound nicer as well.
  6. 02:03:210 (1) - I think spinner should be at 02:03:122 since that's where that deep sound start (as SKSalt did).

  1. 00:56:681 - Just want to mention that there could be less notes, but it is not really needed if you ask me. It still has less notes than the other sections and I think it does fit to the overall picture of the beatmap. tasuke used less notes at this point, but that shouldn't bother one too much.

  3. 01:50:681 (292) - Recommending deleting this note. Feels to artificial since there is no tone given which would support the kat. I would rather say, just got for the dons which follow the beat. Makes them more emphasized and upcoming part isn't anymore so confusing due to different snappings.
  4. 01:51:828 (300,301) - dd instead. Fits better to the thrill in the background.
  5. 01:52:446 (305,306,307,308,309,310,311,312) - Go for straight 1/3, e.g. as dkkddkd. I don't know how others think, but I believe this might be a possible disqualfication reason. Normaly there would be a 1/6, so switching from 1/4 to 1/3 is not very beneficial here. That's why I recommend staying on one snapping: 1/3.
Imo, overall a nice map. But point 01:50:328 to 01:53:152 - should be probably reconsidered. Too many different snappings which are made artificial. You have no real feedback there.

  1. 00:43:269 (42,43,44,45,46,47,48) - How about this instead? Seems to work better with the song.
  2. 00:57:387 (2,8) - Not a must, just suggestion: Maybe delete these kind of notes to give the single dons more impact.
  3. 01:07:975 (1) - Normaly I don't like finishers at the beginning of a stanza either, but maybe use one here since there are the others which are so close to it. Nor a problem at all, but would maybe look and sound nicer.
  4. 01:29:858 (23,24,25,26,27) - I get the idea, but not sure if it works with the song and patterns you have. I believe best would be to go for the straight beats the song gives out since it is easier to follow up:
  5. 02:03:210 (1) - I think spinner should be at 02:03:122 since that's where that deep sound start (as SKSalt did).

Just some suggestions from me. Muzukashii could have had some break if you ask me, but might make the spread a bit too big then. Maybe next modder has something to add. Else, taikos are overall fine. I doubt standard BNs really have to worry here. Let's just see what tasuke and SK say for now.

  3. 01:06:093 (37,38,39,40) - Should be at 01:05:740 as kkk 1/6 like you did for 01:00:093 (14,15,16) - . At 01:06:210 there is no real sound which would support it. Makes it sound weird, too. Actually melody sounds 1/6 here. it should be fine.
  4. 01:29:505 (26,28) - Might be just me, but would suggest removing these. It's a bit hard getting into this beat after you had a 1/4 snapping. Imo fits a bit better too, since it gives dons more impact when staying alone. It's not hard for Inner Oni. 1/3 pattern also fits to the sound, since 1/3 sounds here. And 2/3 seems too empty for the non-calm part, it's better to keep middle density imo.
  5. 01:51:740 (82,83,84,85,86,87,88,89) - Any reason why this is not the opposide pattern? dkkkkkkd d would be way more accurate to the song and hence, sound nicer as well. Because I feel boring if i use dkkkkkd twice. I think climax shouldn't make boring!
  6. 02:03:210 (1) - I think spinner should be at 02:03:122 since that's where that deep sound start (as SKSalt did). fixed.

  1. 00:43:269 (42,43,44,45,46,47,48) - How about this instead? Seems to work better with the song. sounds good, i applied the rhythm.
  2. 00:57:387 (2,8) - Not a must, just suggestion: Maybe delete these kind of notes to give the single dons more impact. 4/1 is weird to me.
  3. 01:07:975 (1) - Normaly I don't like finishers at the beginning of a stanza either, but maybe use one here since there are the others which are so close to it. Nor a problem at all, but would maybe look and sound nicer. maybe I will add finisher if other people mentioned about it too. Removed finishers from prev 3 notes, and added finisher at the beginning instead.
  4. 01:29:858 (23,24,25,26,27) - I get the idea, but not sure if it works with the song and patterns you have. I believe best would be to go for the straight beats the song gives out since it is easier to follow up:
  5. 02:03:210 (1) - I think spinner should be at 02:03:122 since that's where that deep sound start (as SKSalt did). fixed.

Just some suggestions from me. Muzukashii could have had some break if you ask me, but might make the spread a bit too big then. Maybe next modder has something to add. Else, taikos are overall fine. I doubt standard BNs really have to worry here. Let's just see what tasuke and SK say for now.

Something more like a 1/4 reverse slider at 00:39:034 - and a 1/2 slider at 00:39:387 - seems to follow the more consistent rhythm that you're following with the 1/2 sliders before and after this pattern. Doesn't have to be exactly this, but you get the general idea.
  2. 00:56:681 - Honestly, it's hard to tell the difference between this slider's slider velocity and a slider like at 00:55:799 - . Because they are relatively the same length. Consider making this more obvious by changing the spacing a bit, or making the slider velocity a bit slower, so the length of the slider actually changes.
  3. 01:01:622 - Could be moved on top of 01:01:975 - so the overlap isn't as ugly. Also would be similar to the nice pattern at 00:58:093 - .
  4. 01:07:269 - / 01:07:505 - / 01:07:740 - For a Hyper, these notes seem to be a bit hard to read. Especially considering they're following a 1/6 rhythm, when most of this map has been in 1/2 or 1/4. I'd suggest to keep it more simple. Especially since it's 1/6. 1/6 stacks are becoming more and more mainstream nowadays, they do look intimidating, but like any "new" pattern you get used to them easily. Especially at this bpm it's fairly easy to play as they are just short bursts. They're also fairly easy to differentiate from regular 1/4 stacks because they have an unusual number of notes (4 on regular stacks, 3 on drop-off stacks instead of 3 for a classic "triple" 1/4s stack and 2 for a drop-off 1/4s stack)

Mapping it this way makes it easier to read and more natural to play, resulting in a dynamic section that plays and flows just right

  2. 01:07:269 - Imo, fits a bit better a K here. Since it has the same sound as 01:07:505 - and 01:07:740 - Just because same pitch sound doesn't mean same color is needed. Imo different color is more interesting to play here
  3. 01:29:387 - to 01:29:975 - kdkdkd sounds a bit better with the sound you were following with the d at 01:29:152 - . dkdkdk to me
  4. 01:33:210 - Could be kkd. Not really a fan of monotone patterns like these, since they don't emphasize the different pitches too much. (Also you used kkd for this sound later at 01:37:799 - ) prefer keeping it. Actually one color triplet doesn't emphasize different pitches, however it's still fun pattern to play even in expert difficulties. (Also ddd fits to the melody here)
  5. 01:44:505 - Same as above.
