All difficulties:
Kiai Times - Some of the kiai timings are either not snapped or feel really out of place. Here's my suggestion for this (read by start point to end point, will require adding inherited points)
Current kiai timings
00:35:469 - 00:38:082 - This starts very randomly
00:38:275 - 00:41:179 - This is slightly too late
01:13:114 - 01:25:695 - This starts very randomly

Suggested kiai timings
00:00:534 - 00:12:921 - Song starts on a big sound
00:37:695 - 00:50:082 - Chorus part
01:14:856 - 01:27:340 - Solo(?) part

Hitsounding: Could use more varity, try out the drum and soft hitsounds where appropriate.

Overall: Feels more like an Easy at the moment than a normal. As it stands right now, I would focus on fixing the spacing and timing on notes to go with the music. May look at it again after alterations have been made. ;)

First of all, when someone mod your map, think about giving him a kudosu if you think that was helpful! (I say it for the previous modder who spent quite some time for this set!)
[General]
  1. First off, there's some General issues that should be fixed. I think that offset 166 fits way better for the first red line and 552 for the second red line. (I didn't fix it while modding it, so check my points first!)
  2. There's so tags conflicts between you diffs, which means you didn't put the exact same tags in all your diffs.
  3. For some reason your hard diff has more red lines than other diffs..
  4. 01:27:341 (1) - Make the spinner on all diffs finish on 01:28:792 - sounds more accurate
[Insane]
  1. Try to avoid as much as possible (except if the music calls for it) to put sliders on red ticks, they're not really catchy. I put a few examples.
  2. 00:09:824 (7) - The break feels a bit random, there's still the same music you were mapping going on, yet you decide to suddenly stop mapping it (there's even the kiai still on!) Try to keep going until 00:11:372 -
  3. 00:12:533 - I'd add a note here. You're following the vocal I understand it but it might be a bit confusing as there's a beat just before you didn't map!
  4. 00:14:276 (2) - Be careful, the reverse is hidden, which is unrankable! You can do this though http://puu.sh/nydh9/4ec6d90a54.jpg I Ctrl+G this slider to improve the flow. See if you like or not, up to you change this as well or not :P Just if you do, put 00:14:856 (3) - farther!

  6. 00:16:599 (5) - Same. The stronger beat (as well as where the vocal is accentuated) is mapped at the end of you slider, which means that we're not hitting it as you put the emphasize just before.   7. 00:18:921 (6) - Same. To fix just put a circle instead of the slider, and where the slider used to finish, make a new one start instead! http://puu.sh/nydCu/95e93b1885.jpg

  12. 01:16:599 (3,4) - Spacing might be a bit confusing here!

Patterns are pretty cool, they're not too messy imo which is pretty great actually. Some flow problem but nothing that bad. I think you gotta focus on those sliders on red ticks, they usually don't sound good and plays weird, I just pointed them a few out there's more left!
[Hard]
  1. 00:20:276 (2,3) - You can improve blanket (the thing I was talking about with the AR on insane: http://puu.sh/nyehj/0cb477d41d.jpg
  2. 00:24:340 (1) - The end should be hittable~
  3. 01:00:921 (1) - Idea is really good, I would remove the reverse and make the slider start here instead 01:02:469 - but it's a pretty good idea anyway!
  4. 01:22:985 (2,3,4,5) - Your square doesn't look really neat. You can automatically create some : Compose -> Create polygon circles.
Gotta fix the sliders on this diff as well if you also think it sounds better the way I recommend!
[Normal]
I didn't check your normal in detail but you have to always respect Distance Snap in this difficulty level as well as "easy" (Hard is recommended too, but you're free).

That's it. It's pretty good overall to be honest! Just those timing issues with your sliders..!

General Modding cont.
All difficulties:

Hitsounding: There are good hitsounding patterns on all difficulties, but are not maintained throughout the map/randomly change. Should try to make them consistent (e.g. clap,clap,clap on triples in Insane difficulty).
Ending: Ending spinner needs to be time snapped to 1/6 imo at 01:27:437 - . Spinner should have a soft ending to fit the song's fadeout effect (change audio sample through timing setup window to soft for very last inherited point).
01:27:340 - Snap this timing point to 01:27:437 - .

Normal:

00:52:792 (9) - This slider is way longer than the other sliders in this section. Should shorten by quite a bit (imo, ending at 00:53:179 - and filling the gap that's left with another combo).


Hard:

00:25:308 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12) - Feel like this combo drags on for too long. Try to add an NC at some point (I'll leave that to you to decide ;) )
00:36:437 (9) - Create NC here.
00:37:501 (1) - This sounds like it occurs 3 ticks too early. Move to 00:37:695 - , remove 00:37:888 (2) - and add a beat at 00:38:082 - .
01:06:533 (1) - Remove NC here so that the combo starts on 01:06:146 (1) - .


Insane:

00:39:824 (1) - Remove NC here.
00:45:437 (1) - Remove NC here.
01:02:856 (2) - Create NC here. Now that the slider doesn't repeat, the player needs to be able to survive the drain more easily by hitting the slider as a combo instead of the entire combo after the slider.


Possible other changes
Insane:

00:00:147 (1) - Remove this beat(?). As it stands it seems like an extra hit which could just be used as a lead-in into the song (remove, test, and consider).
00:42:147 (1) - Remove NC here. Make it part of the previous combo.
00:43:115 (4) - Remove repeat and place a beat at 00:43:695 - under the slider end and another beat at 00:43:888 - some distance away. Maintain spacing for the combo.

Overall, it's a huge step up from before. Just gotta work with NC points and hitsounding. Get some more mods to check it for you and you should be good to go. :)

Patterns are pretty cool, they're not too messy imo which is pretty great actually. Some flow problem but nothing that bad. I think you gotta focus on those sliders on red ticks, they usually don't sound good and plays weird, I just pointed them a few out there's more left!

I didn't check your normal in detail but you have to always respect Distance Snap in this difficulty level as well as "easy" (Hard is recommended too, but you're free).

In options you have a preferred skin set to one of your own. I suggest leaving it to user preferred unless you are going to include the skin in your beatmap

I also recommend unchecking Widescreen support and selecting some custom colours to use that suit the background

You have two red timing points. Remove the 120 BPM one. (Make sure you resnap your first note after doing this)

I just made my first map recently too and I reckon looking at other maps and copying but manipulating their styles works really well when starting out. Eventually you will have your own style! :D

So you need advice as a new mapper from #modreq , I think the best one I can give you is not by pointing out your mistakes , but let you point them out yourself.

Also , please take a look at Kibbleru's advice for new mappers (all creds to him)

  4. The last step is to refine your knowledge of mapping into your own style. Usually this step comes when you find out that no matter what you do, you yourself do not like your own mapping. That is good because that means you are trying to improve. Hopefully by now you've found yourself a mapper that you absolutely look up to. The mapper who inspires you to map. Or maybe even just some maps you really really like. Now what you do is just spend periods studying their maps, and try to copy their patterns and styles. You will know that you have gotten past this stage once you realize that you no longer hate your own maps.

General -

I don't really see the need for 3 kiai sections. I would just keep the 2nd one you have and get rid of the 1st and 3rd since they really aren't the "climax" of the song.
The patterns you're using (especially in the insane difficulty) tend to seem a bit random and inconsistent. In parts where the beat is the same or similar don't be afraid to reuse the same patterns, but just change up the note placements and stuff. You can reuse the same patterns without being repetitive. Some of the jumps also seem randomly placed as well, which can be fixed by modifying the placements manually choosing the coordinates. The star jumps you have aren't bad though. Some more consistency and closer attention to the placement of your jumps would do this map justice. Best of luck! :D

General -

I don't really see the need for 3 kiai sections. I would just keep the 2nd one you have and get rid of the 1st and 3rd since they really aren't the "climax" of the song.
The patterns you're using (especially in the insane difficulty) tend to seem a bit random and inconsistent. In parts where the beat is the same or similar don't be afraid to reuse the same patterns, but just change up the note placements and stuff. You can reuse the same patterns without being repetitive. Some of the jumps also seem randomly placed as well, which can be fixed by modifying the placements manually choosing the coordinates. The star jumps you have aren't bad though. Some more consistency and closer attention to the placement of your jumps would do this map justice. Best of luck! :D

The distance from the end of 00:09:437 (3) - 00:09:824 (4) - is somewhat large/it doesn't make sense to me why 4 wouldn't follow the end of 3. It's not exactly a bad thing I guess and if you wanted to keep it, I would just recommend making 4 the start of a new combo :)
