Need some advice (yet another stream-related thread)

So I've decided to dedicate this whole month to solely practice streams. A lot of people told me to just PLAY MORE streams and the streaming ability will naturally come, but that didn't really help me get anywhere. As a last resort, I've given myself a deadline of 1 month to improve my streaming ability (and by improve, I mean at least good enough to not get a bunch of 100's, 50's, and misses on streams). If still nothing happens, I'll concede that I just don't have the knack for streams, quit osu!, and move on. So starting today until the end of the month, I'll spend 99% of my osu! time practicing streams. I just have a few questions on how I should go about it:

1. Should I start practicing low BPM streams and gradually move up, or just play any stream maps regardless of BPM?
2. Should I focus on practicing short streams first before moving on to longer streams, or should I just mix them up?
3. I always start streams with my middle finger (my main tapping finger) unless there's a slider at the beginning of the stream, in which I use my index finger. Am I doing the right thing?
4. How do you even read streams that come very quickly right after a series of jumps? Those things ALWAYS catch me off guard and I always end up just mashing my fingers as a result. I know the main answer is just play more, but I've been playing a lot of maps with those kinds of streams but I never really got it, so maybe there's a technique or something.
5. What are the maps that helped you get better at streams? I need as much stream maps as I can get now, so I'd appreciate it if you could give me some.

So that's pretty much it. Honestly, I love osu! and I don't want to quit if possible, but it's just frustrating (and depressing, even) to spend a lot of time on something and getting nowhere with it. Hope you could give me some advice.

Come back when you have over 10mil hits and have been playing stream maps the entire time.

1) Practice the lowest BPM streams you can do and work your way up from there
2) Define "short" and "long". Longstream practice maps won't actually teach you practical skills you'll be able to use in ranked maps.
3) It doesn't matter, as long as it's comfortable.
4) Um...get good?
5)

Bonus tip: Don't quit just because you can't stream. Find other ways to enjoy the game. Why do you even need to be able to stream? Just play maps without streams.

Play more dragonforce all the time all day

Ice angel, Tower of heaven and dragon force, just spam those

Good enough is kinda ambiguous, and I think 1 month is too short.

1) Low BPM then work your way up is recommended, but you can't do that with the given deadline because it will take quite long. So I guess you should find your maximum comfortable BPM and work your way up from there.
2)Again, short and long is kinda ambiguous. Anyway, for your BPM tapping that's quite comfortable to you, try long streams to check if you have the stamina for it.
3)I believe there's no right and wrong in this thing
4)Map examples? Can't really understand from just the explanation.
5)Here are quite streamy ranked maps. Might give some pp if you get those streams (I think this might motivate you xD)

Meh, lazy to search for other maps...

170 bpm is slow. Once you understand how to tap 170, you'll know how the other bpms near it work.

Playing just streams is dumb, dont do that. And one month isnt nearly enough to learn to stream properly.
Except if you love streams, then its perfectly ok

Short as in streams with only 5-7 hitcircles in them. As for long, maybe at least something like this: https://osu.ppy.sh/b/244224&m=0

The streams in this version of No Title: https://osu.ppy.sh/b/766475&m=0
Almost all streams on this: https://osu.ppy.sh/b/471257&m=0
The first stream of this map: https://osu.ppy.sh/b/848994&m=0
And a lot of 5-hitcircle streams that suddenly pop up in the middle of jumps.

I have a question though. Does it make sense to practice very low BPM streams (like 150 and below), or should I just focus on 170-ish BPM stream maps?

Practising low bpm will help you with your stream controll / acc but if you just want to get faster the fastest way is to play bpm just above your comfort zone.

Don't know what bpm you prefer but these are some decent stream maps:
