Player Perspective

I've had multiple people mention the hitsounds are too soft. While I think they're ok myself, consider increasing the volume.



Done in multiplayer lol, fcing all the hard stuff and being a noob on the easy stuff... Video and replay

Alternative decent replay of a 1070 combo run then messing up the end. Basically just showing that basically everything up to 02:41:920 is playable with good accuracy for an 88k player like myself (and I have an average accuracy of 92% lol).

That said, it is 260bpm so I've found the vast majority struggle to pass this in mulitplayer (even 15-30k players), though I feel like the HP drain is about right at HP 4. I've only ever failed this twice, if you can actually play this you're only really at risk of failing after 03:47:573 after which is reaaally brutal. If the ending doesn't get nerfed somewhat I could see an argument for HP 3.5, otherwise leave it.

01:07:881 (5,6,1) - this is really easy to sliderbreak or miss on. I don't know if you should change it though as it fits with the patterns of the first chorus. However, it seems much harder to hit than the ending of either of the other 2 choruses. For example compare 01:06:958 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1) - to 02:15:266 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1) and 03:30:958 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7). I would say the first chorus is the most difficult followed by the 3rd chorus in these ending patterns, where there's a difference in rhythm but not in intensity (I think).



The solo, while looking intimidating as hell is much harder to break on if played properly and imo mapped very well. I'm a noob mapper/modder but this is 1/6 right? I actually think with practice you're less likely to miss in the solo than anywhere else, please don't change it :D

I'd also consider looking at making 03:18:035 (1,2) - more playable as the first slider is pretty hard to to follow coming off 03:17:573 (4,5,6,7).. (maybe rotate the sliders counterclockwise a bit, making them straight sliders?). I have hit this before but can't hit this reliably. You'll see in my video above I naturally tried to follow this at a sharp angle and nearly broke. It's like this right now, so I can see why you want it like this to avoid overlap, but it's hard to play imo. Can be hit so not a required change. I talk about this more later in the mod.



I'm not going to talk about 03:47:573 (1,2,1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,1,2,1,2,3,4,5) for now as I'm not experienced enough with it. Only thing I'll mention is it should probably be a Kiai section, even though it'd only be for 10 seconds.

03:54:958 (1,2,3,4,1,2,1,2,3,4,5,6) - I realize this section is intense on the guitar but this is arguably even more challenging to SS than 03:47:573 (1,2,1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,1,2,1,2,3,4,5) - which has a very fast drumbeat and imo is more intense/should be more challenging (it is VERY challenging already). I think by taking another look at the positioning or shape of the sliders of 03:54:958 (1,2,3,4,1,2,1,2,3,4,5,6) you could probably get away with not nerfing slider velocity here as the fast sliders are supported by the song. You tend not to break on it but hitting it properly is very hard.

Re: the above suggestion for AR 9 on this difficulty (which it is now) I think it is working well. The part with the prominent drum beat I mentioned above is a bit hard to read but I think you should keep AR 9. AR 9 also becomes a little difficult to read here, but this is playable so it's not a big deal.



I got a friend of mine to try sightread Insane with Hidden, he's top 150.



Here is the replay and video. From spamming this in multiplayer I haven't seen anyone nomod sightread this yet but I'm sure it can be done by some.

He switches to -5ms offset during the first break, so might need someone very experienced with timing to double check it. Again hvick got good accuracy on This Way! so it's probably fine.

From his play you can see that 03:50:112 (4,1,2,3,4,5,6) and 03:53:804 (2,1,2,3,4,5) are probably the hardest patterns in this song to hit. Fits the intensity of the song but yeah this is hard.





The jump sliders 03:48:035 (1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3,4) are tough but playable and he hits them on sightread (I've hit them twice).

He does miss on 03:17:573 (4,5,6,7,1) which is challenging but I wouldn't think too much of it, he is able to follow the slider as well so maybe I'm just a weak player :P. That said, he hits 03:24:612 (4,5,6,7,8,1) which I also find way more playable so maybe you could change 03:17:573 (4,5,6,7,1) to be patterned similar to this?



03:01:420 (1,2,3,4) and 03:03:266 (1,2,3,4) are difficult to hit the spaced circles but less likely to miss on the slider than 03:17:573 (4,5,6,7,1) so maybe it's just a matter of making 03:18:035 (1,2) - straight sliders?

Other suggestions:

Again I'm a noob modder lol

02:24:497 - 02:30:843 both Kiai sections are pretty short which as far as I know can cause eye problems. It makes sense to not have 02:27:150 - 02:28:189 a Kiai section but I think it'll have to be or the maybe remove Kiai the whole section 02:24:497 - 02:30:843. For Extra and This Way! neither of these sections are Kiai'd so maybe removing the Kiai here is the best choice.

00:06:958 (5) - new combo?

There's parts of the verses where I thought you were following vocals but it I think you aren't? I could be very wrong on these. Examples:
00:28:189 (1,2) - if you're following the breath for the slider the sliderend is on a more distinct vocal
01:36:497 (1,2) - sounds like you're following drums, prominent vocal on sliderend

03:09:497 (1) - possibly put a circle on 03:09:497 and a slider on 03:09:612?

00:56:227 (2) - maybe remove this note? doesn't sound emphasized - it's definitely there but imo easy to miss just listening
01:55:304 (2) - ^ though the sound is much stronger here so I can see you wanting it consistently mapped
03:10:997 (2) - ^ again more emphasized than the first chorus so up to you if you wanna keep these
There's repeated rhythms like this in each of the chorus I just noticed it was hard to hear at the start of the first chorus. Probably should not change.

02:10:073 (2,3) - maybe make this 2 sliders? such that 2nd slider ends on drumbeat currently mapped to 3... can see how your rhythm might be better though

02:33:727 (1) - maybe extend this so it starts on 02:33:612? I know I said don't change the solo but I think it's off :(
