You should judge by star rating instead of difficulty name, and play stuff you can FC and slowly work your way up from there

names don't mean anything, some insanes you might fc with 98%, some insanes you will barely get 60% with nofail mod.
so difficulty rating is what you want to look at (even then, some songs are way easier or harder than difficulty indicator).
so just play what you like, jus be sure you can at least get 90% acc on the songs you play - otherwise you will just develop bad habits, which will hurt you in the long run (I've been there, and now it's a nightamare to fix), and ideally you want to eventually get around 98% acc before moving on to harder ones.

Make sure you can FC with an acc of >= 97% on all the previous difficulties, and then go through the insane difficulty all the way through a few times so you can get a feel of the song. Then your aim should be to FC with an acc of >= 97%. This will simply take a lot of playthroughs, but after a while you'll get better at the beatmap. The important part here is to make sure you've gotten the previous difficulties completely down, or else you might be jumping a head too much in terms of difficulty. Also yeah like others said judge a beatmap's diff based on its star rating, not its name. Good luck!

As the original version is written in some arabic hieroglyphs or something it doesn't really matter whether you write him with e or a as it's just some sort of translation anyway.

I grew up on AR8 so I just spammed AR8 insane maps till I could play them. Playing same AR is probably easiest method to learn insane. I played these maps first.SophieSticated wrote:

Work on getting better acc on 3.7 stars first.

Accuracy is really important to get down. Try to avoid just running off into HR and DT before you can at least hit some good accuracies. HR 95 is worth less than a 99 nomod on some maps for pp anyway..
