The Kiai Sections on the beatmaps are not all during the same section
01:27:999 (1) - Here Kiai time is added for a short period of time. Generally, all the diffs should have the same Kiai time, and that is currently not the case, because of Bearizm's expert. I suggest removing it.

Other than theese small things, I.m.o, the maps are great, especially Anxient's hard and Mercury! :oops:

Completely intentional, the diff isn't supposed to be super clean and simplistic. I tried to map a lower diff in a way people often map higher diffs, to make it more interesting to play for players of that skill level.

I fucking hate my life, I was about to finish the mod, accidently pressed mouse4 and a draft was not saved for some reason so I had to rewrite the mod from Fury's diff, hopefully I didn't forget anything as I am too tired to actually mod it completely again, goddamnit.

  1. A timing point with 4/4 meter at 00:01:599 is needed so the downbeat will land on the big white ticks instead of the red ticks. Apparently it does not work like this.
  2. 00:45:399 - Seems like hitsounds are the same for most (all?) difs and I feel like a clap or some sort of strong hitsound should be used here in all difs to give some better support to the instrument.
  3. I don't think AR 9.6 and AR 9.7 for the highest difficulties is right, just because there are difficulties as hard as those it does not mean the AR is supposed to increase with the amount of diffs, just capping at around 9.4/9.5 feels right for the song and the difficulties.
[Easy]
  1. I found many weird rhythm choices that don't really go along with the song, ending weird rhythms to play (I am honsetly not 100% sure how should it be as well):
    1. 00:01:599 (1,1) - You have so many rhythms that leave a 1.5 beat gap between sliders, like 00:01:599 (1,1,1) - and it makes most of sliders land on a weak beat creating a bad rhythm impression, this 00:05:199 (1) - is great as it doesn't leave a weird gap and it goes really nice with the song itself.
    2. 00:13:749 (3) - I can't really understand those sliders that start right after the downbeat on a relatively weak note, or those that just ignore it completely to land on a weak note like 00:17:949 (2) -, it threw me off a bit, so how are the beginners going to feel? Perhaps because of the timing point you thought the downbeat landed on those while it does not, so..
    3. You are pretty consistent with those, which is not a bad thing, but I don't find the rhythms likeable at all, so I am not even sure if you are going to change those, if you do agree with myself to some degree, please change it throughout the whole diff.
  2. Some regular modding stuff:
    1. 00:06:399 (1,2) - Curve of the first slider is not so friendly, something that flows and makes both look like one unit is nicer: http://puu.sh/nzqZg/977d898582.jpg
    2. 00:17:949 (2,3,1) - I feel like this whole pattern is going to be really confusing for new players, especially with those overlaps and the fact that 3's head is so close to 1's sliderbody.

    4. 00:47:949 (1) - End it 1/2 tick earlier to land on actual downbeat.
    5. 01:27:999 (2) - Ignoring that last instrument in the end is awful :< Please use two 1/1 sliders instead.

  1. I don't know which default clap you have on the soft soundset, but please use the normal-hitclap at the kiai, just like you had at 00:50:799 (1) -, it sounds much great compared to the current clap I hear.

  1. 00:45:249 (2,3) - The only thing I didn't like in this diff is this pattern, playwise it felt a bit forceful as both sides of the sliders are equally strong yet there is a clap only at the end of it, generating an odd feeling while playing, I'd try to use a slider into a circle, it creates a nicer gameplay imo.
  2. 01:07:749 (1,1) - Not sure if less than half a second gives enough recovery time, in addition to the slider position which is a bit far away from the center.

  1. 00:42:549 (1) - Why not follow the vocals as they are the main dish of the section?
  2. 01:06:399 (1,1,2,1,2) - Incosistencies in spacings look and feel really really weird here, I think using same high DS between all of them is the best, since the vocals land on slider heads while strong drums end on (current) white ticks and it will give a much smoother transition between all objects in this circle movement.
  3. 01:08:049 (1) - Is sliderbody whistle intentional? If not, remove it, if yes, should probably add it at more places like 01:09:249 (2) -, creates a nice rhythm.
  4. 01:21:249 (2,3,4) - Same pattern as 01:26:049 (2,3,4) - will create a nicer movement here imo.

  1. 00:04:599 (3,4,5,6,7,8,1) - Is reducing the slider towards the downbeat like that is really the best movement? I felt like it has to be spaced more.
  2. 00:07:599 (1) - Why is this snapped on 1/8? It's awkward as hell lol.
  3. 00:13:149 (3) - CTRL+G give bigger emphasization towards 00:13:449 (4) - and a nicer movement overall.

I think you can agree with me that although 00:57:249 (1,2,1,2) - and 00:56:649 (1,2) - are somewhat emphasized in a strong manner in the song, they still sound different (while having similarities) and feel a bit different. This way the slider shapes and movements resembles each other while maintaining a great rhythm that gives a really rewarding effect while playing.
  6. 01:06:399 (2,2) - Blanket could definitely look much better!
  7. 01:10:449 (2,3,4) - A bit offputting pattern as it gives 3 unnecessary emphasization, making 4 weaker while it's supposed to be stronger.
  8. 01:18:399 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1) - I feel like you can and should make something more interesting than a long stream with random curves and sharp movement change in the middle, I didn't really enjoy this stream.
[Expert]
  1. 00:07:599 (1,2,3) - I don't think it's that good tbh, there's nothing on the sliderend in terms of instruments and the movement is really sharp, I couldn't figure why this pattern felt so wrong until I got into the editor and looked, the music simply does not support it that well.
  2. 00:13:074 (4) - Overmap is not always bad, but I feel like it simply doesn't fit here, my fingers didn't felt forced to press on those notes, especially with the almost non-audible hitsound, applies to all of these notes like 00:14:274 (4) - 00:15:474 (5) - (Although this one felt okay since it was part of a tripet and I did not have that odd feeling of a unfitting 1/4 right after a slider.) and so on.
  3. 00:36:999 (4,5,6) - This triplet actually exists in the song, but why the odd placement? Just because 6's instrument is stronger it doesn't mean you have to increase the spacing here, the emphasization for the note happens right after it occurs with the sharp movement into the next note, a single spaced triplet would be nicer and great.
  4. 00:51:549 (4,5,6) - Is the linear placement necessary? Placing 6 a bit further down creates a nicer pattern.
  5. 00:54:699 (2,3) - Not really a fan of those, feels honestly forced and taking the momentum from the song itself, as the movement is linear and the strong drum doesn't get anything in terms of emphasization.
  6. 01:18:399 (1,2) - This is spaced waaaaay too close, not only the degree of movement changes in a way that takes some strength from the movement, the spacing suddenly gets so low and it ruins the momentum of the stream.
  7. 01:21:474 (4,5) - I find it bad for the same reasons I listed above, music does not warrant such placement.
  8. I guess I am fine with the triplet overmaps as long as they are not following a sliderend.
As I had to rewrite some of the mods and the time this whole thing took, I'll skip the Mercury diff for now, please get more opinions on the Easy as I really think it needs to be somewhat redone, fix the downbeat timing point and get some more mods for everything else (mainly the higher diffs), when you have done all of those call me back and I'll check Mercury and prob recheck everything else.

I simply end on the most dominant beat 2 could end on in that case, which was the dream. 3 and 4 are fine because they have the presense of vocals.
  5. 00:56:649 (1,2) - I know it might seem a bit weird at first, but how about you CTRL+G the slider 00:56:799 (2) - ? It will make the spacing a bit tight but it makes the overall pattern much better imo. I think you can agree with me that although 00:57:249 (1,2,1,2) - and 00:56:649 (1,2) - are somewhat emphasized in a strong manner in the song, they still sound different (while having similarities) and feel a bit different. This way the slider shapes and movements resembles each other while maintaining a great rhythm that gives a really rewarding effect while playing. im sorry I really disagree with that. the emphasis is supposed to be on the downbeat of 2 and that pattern just kills it. Sure it makes the next pattern more intense, but i wanted to keep similar intensities for all of these 2 so...

As I had to rewrite some of the mods and the time this whole thing took, I'll skip the Mercury diff for now, please get more opinions on the Easy as I really think it needs to be somewhat redone, fix the downbeat timing point and get some more mods for everything else (mainly the higher diffs), when you have done all of those call me back and I'll check Mercury and prob recheck everything else. rip mercury

I'd like to keep it in all seriousness I don't see why not. I think it's a pattern that people are so afraid of using because it has a change of DS in a triple, and I want to make it common somehow. Besides, it's a good way to emphasize the sudden increase of tone in the vocals.
  4. 00:51:549 (4,5,6) - Is the linear placement necessary? Placing 6 a bit further down creates a nicer pattern. looks random if i move it anywhere else. I have no reason to move this downwards. 00:51:849 (6) - is a stronger drum sound so i'm gonna emphasize it with an even larger DS in which people could see as obvious since it's back and forth with larger DS.
  5. 00:54:699 (2,3) - Not really a fan of those, feels honestly forced and taking the momentum from the song itself, as the movement is linear and the strong drum doesn't get anything in terms of emphasization. uhh, I know I'm mapping the instruments and shit but I use the vocals to determine the DS of these. 00:53:649 - when she says "chino!" it's very strong, and 00:53:649 - when she says "yukue" here it's a lot more... calm(?) not sure what the right word is but it's less powerful I guess. 00:55:299 - while this is also calm, there's a crash at 00:55:599 - so I want to increase the gradually increase back the intensity of the map by making jumps. I hope this part is justified.
  6. 01:18:399 (1,2) - This is spaced waaaaay too close, not only the degree of movement changes in a way that takes some strength from the movement, the spacing suddenly gets so low and it ruins the momentum of the stream. yes, but it's a triple, not a jump. I don't want to make a spaced triple with a massive DS as they play like shit in general, and they gradually increase of course because like u said, the DS dropped by a lot here and I wanna bring it back up.
