I really think Doomsday and taNa could also be up there, but I rated ShaggoN over taNa and Rucker over Doomsday. I still think all seven mentioned players are top quality and deserves to be in top five anytime.
Some honorary mentions include Flute, KanbeKotori, Lybydose, Lesjuh, GladiOol, Colored, ReimuSS, and Rorry. I may have been able to come up with other names on another day but that's all I can think of right now XD

Cyclone ~ 2008/2009 legend in my eyes, nobody could take his #1 away. SS'd the most crazy shit back then.

I haven't really been keeping up with things going around osu! this year but I can with a lot of confidence Cookiezi was the best player this year because he beat almost every beast map out there. You might aswell create a cookiezi highlight video instead of the top 5 players because this guy is a legend.
