Add the warning message? (maybe, not sure) I don't think it's needed. There isn't much flashing, and the pulsing bg shouldn't be a problem.
Darken the background image a bit more during play-parts (~35-40%) but leave all the effects at normal brightness. This should make the presentation a lot clearer and place more emphasis on the effects. Hmm, I wouldn't like the bg to be that dark though. Not changing for now.

That's why I think it's not worth it.

03:08:427 (1) - What a spinner...I second Weezys opinion here. Maybe you can replace the ultra-spinner by using a long snail-slider with reduced slider speed? In my opinion a 10-second-spinner is still acceptable. I know it can be a bit tiring for beginners and I'd really try to change it, but it fits just perfectly, and a huge slider or anything else would look weird. It'd also make it harder: on the spinner you need only about 150rpm to retain full health, but a long slider would inevitably drain the HP.

FunFact: Those are rectangles, not squares...they tend to have 2 unequal sides I suggest using squares and alternate their angles instead of just getting bigger and bigger. FunFact: The screen is a rectangle, not a square You see, when creating a pattern like this, you can always only have either equal distances to the axes (aka squares) or equal distances to the edges of the screen (aka rectangles). I used the former on both Normal and Hard, since on those, the equivalents of this pattern stay relatively small. The Insane variant however expands to almost screen size. Thus, I decided for the latter, because reading it is pretty easy but changing it into squares would just look weird.
02:14:427 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,3,1,2,1,2) - The sudden change of focus makes this part seem completely off beat. Maybe refine the patterns to make it more visible or at least better playable without "learning this part" inside the editor Hmm, I don't think it's that hard, so I'll wait for more opinions on that.
02:27:387 (3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2) - strange spacings (there shouldn't be any jumps I guess) Distance snapped (3,4,1). The rest is fine.
02:47:907 (4,5,6,7) - Don't. Do. That. Alternating beat + alternating jump distance = alternating mess I'm keeping this. My reason is: what a player needs to know to successfully complete this part (or anything for that matter) is a) the position of the circles and b) the rhythm. In this case, provided the player pays attention, they can predict both: a) is foreseeable from the 1st half of the pattern, b) from the melody being a repetition of 2:37-2:45.
03:08:427 (1) - Spinning. The Game. Maybe it fits the insane version. Keep it Yup.
That said, I love this song. I love your [Normal] and [Hard]...and I hope you polish the [Insane]. Good work, keep it up! Well. That was one really impressive modpost. I fixed a lot of mistakes you found and improved many of patterns you mentioned. Others I prefer the way they are now, but your post certainly helped a lot. Thanks!
