use OBS
OBS can help you record both in these positions at the same time, but sadly I can't say I know any free software that allows you to do picture-in-picture.
Though, at the same time, you could try re-recording your liveplay with OBS in that manner, and it won't require any editing.

So you want 2 videos layered? You can try with 2 insances of MPC-HC player in minimal view (Press 1, to return to normal view press 3)
You can then record it with OBS.
