Heyo M4M from my queue!

Will be doing Normal through Insane

Insane
Insane is 3.75* to 5.25*. This is still considered hard. Please increase the difficulty somehow.

00:21:070 (1,2) - These seem too close together. Makes it a bit unpredictable.
00:22:870 (2,4) - If you listen at 50% speed, the vocals don't end on 1/3 snap like you made it. Please fix because it's weird.
00:28:870 (1,2,3,4,5) - Move these farther apart and align them in a nicer curve. It makes no sense how 00:28:870 (1,2,3,4,5) - these can be spaced so far while those five are so close. People might mistake them for a stream.
00:28:870 (1,2,3,4,5) - Use the alt key to space these evenly
00:36:670 (11) - NC here
00:52:420 (5,2) - Stack
01:05:770 (2,4,5,6) - Stack 6 with 2 and evenly space 4 5 and 6
01:25:270 (2,3,4) - Weird jump pattern.
01:29:770 (7) - NC
should put a note at 01:36:670
01:40:870 (5,6) - 01:45:670 (5,6) - You should keep spacing consistent-ish with similar patterns and sounds. There's not a huge change in the music here, so I don't know why it's so close
02:06:520 (6,7,8) - Why space so weirdly
02:22:270 (2,4) - Stack
02:22:870 (4,5,6) - Again, weird pattern
02:28:870 (1,2,3,4,5) - Make an even zig zag pattern
02:29:320 (4,5,2) - Stack the slider with one of the notes
02:38:770 (1) - Why the NC?
02:39:370 (2,3,7) - Stack
02:40:870 (10,1) - Blanket properly
02:44:770 (1,2,1) - Weird pattern. Also don't NC
02:48:670 (10) - Blanket this 02:48:070 (9) -

In general, I would say work on your aesthetics of the map. Keep spacing consistent for the most part. If you're going to do big spacing for 1/4 snap, don't mix it with small spacing. Stack objects more and make your sliders blanket more. This will make your map flow more smoothly and look better. The aesthetics can be the difference between a map looking amateur and a map looking professional.

Hard
00:24:520 (4,5) - Keep spacing consistent
00:31:720 (4) - Align with rest of stream
00:33:070 (3,4,5,6) - Make these a square using ctrl shift D
00:37:270 (3,4) - Way too far apart
00:38:470 (6,7,8) - ^
00:39:670 (1,2,3) - Equally space
00:44:470 (3,5) - Stack properly
00:45:971 (7,4) - Stack
00:56:470 (1) - Start at 00:56:170
01:20:770 (3,4,5) - wtf is this lmao
01:33:670 (3,4,5) - ^

I'm gonna stop there since I think you get the idea. Like the other mods you had say, please please please check AI mod for spacing. Especially for lower difficulties, you're going to want to keep spacing consistent. The alt key is your friend! Please use him!

Also, just as I stated in Insane, please work on the aesthetic portion. In 5+* map, you can get away with not stacking or not blanketing some notes, but hard, normal, and easy difficulties really depend on the aesthetic portion.

Normal
00:25:270 (2,3) - Blanket
00:31:871 (7) - NC
00:28:270 (2,3) - This seems spaced a little too far and 00:27:070 (1,2) - This a little too close
00:35:470 (5,1) - Ugly overlap
00:39:670 (5) - NC
00:41:770 (1) - No NC
00:43:870 (5) - NC
00:48:520 (6,7) - A little too hard for Normal
00:51:070 (1,2) - Spaced a little too close
00:53:770 (1) - NC off
01:00:670 (5,6) - Make these symmetrical using ctrl c then ctrl v then ctrl h
01:07:870 (5,6) - Spaced too close compared to notes before
01:25:870 (5,6) - Blanket
01:43:870 (6,1,2) - Don't stack
01:59:470 (2,3) - Too close
02:07:870 (3,1) - Good blanket, do your other blankets like these
02:09:670 (2,3) - Don't stack
02:16:570 (2,3) - Too close
02:19:870 (2,3) - Align vertically
02:21:070 (4,1) - Blanket
02:28:270 (6,7,1) - Don't stack

The problem with all your difficulties is spacing. I can't stress this enough. For normal difficulty, spacing is imperative to allow predictability for new players. Those who just start out might panic when they see a note super close to another one. Even though AI mod doesn't say anything for this diff, do fix all spacing.

Aesthetics again! use more fancy sliders and blankets. Stack notes that are 2 beats apart.

That's it from me! Good luck!

My Map: https://osu.ppy.sh/s/404283

[General]
Background should be 1024X768 for 4:3 or 1366X768 for 16:9

The video's audio track must be removed from the video file. This is according to the ranking criteria.

[Easy]
00:16:870 (1,1) - Not enough recovery time after the spinner. In easy it has to be over 2 beats.

00:23:470 (6) - Normally three points are enough to form a slider to prevent making its shape weird like this.

According to ranking criteria, spacing in Easy should be consistent for the entire diff. So 00:29:470 (1) - this is not nice with 0.8x from previous note and 1.0x to latter note.

[Normal]
00:21:670 (4,2) - This overlap is not visibly nice. http://puu.sh/oAQle/00b285a797.jpg You could avoid that.

00:25:270 (2,3) - Making blanket will make your map looks neat: http://puu.sh/oAQnT/277e872470.jpg

00:27:070 (1,2,3) - Spacing should be placed according to the rhythm. the empty between 1 and 2 in rhythm is longer than 2 and 3 yet they are closer in the screen, that would cause confusion.

[Hard]
00:24:070 (1,2,3,4,5) - If you want to use stream pattern here, make them in the same spacing. Actually you dont have to place notes one by one, just place a slider first at where you want to create a stream and then click "Compose" and then "Convert Slider to Stream"

You could also create polygon jump patterns by "Compose" "Create Polygon Circles" This very convenient and could save your time a lot!

Also I recommend you to read the article regarding flow here: t/86329
It could help you a lot in pattern organizing!

Good Luck!

Hi! M4M :)
General: don't make combos so long. You can brave to put new combo when vocal becomes stronger, for example Easy 02:48:670(6) and 02:46:270(4).

Easy
01:25:870(9) - make this slider shorter twice and add reverse arrow. This should looks great because the singer emphasizes the words "your heart".

Normal
Put slider from 00:24:070 to 00:24:370 and add reverse arrow. You'll be need delete 2 circles because of that but result should looks nice!
  1. 00:43:270(6)
  2. 00:55:270(5)
If my ears do not let me down, this two sliders must be just a little longer.
Insane
All previous difficulties started from 00:16:870 and that was right decision! Make the same for insane. Between downloading of map and starting of gameplay should be space at least 2-3 seconds.

All the way i felt some discomfort because of slow sliders. You should increase speed for insane difficulty from 1,4 to at least 1.7. Because of that you'll need replace a lot of object, but map will will be felt much better.

There are problems with health bar. Make smaller HP drain rate or better replace positions of new combo (look general). Successful completion of the combo increases the health bar because it's very important to put them correct.

I hope my mod will be useful!
Good luck! :D

  1. 00:43:270(6) Fixed
  2. 00:55:270(5) Fixed

I will probably make It again because of the stars and some ugly patterns :?

Thank you for modding :)

I hope my mod will be useful!
Good luck! :D

Hi! M4M from my queue! :)

Hard

  1. AR + 1 would be really beneficial for this map! Also OD -1 & HP - 1
  2. You might want to turn off widescreen support since you don't have a storyboard. Make sure to turn this off in all of your difficulties.
  3. Also use a blank slider slide to cancel the rough slider noise. Enable custom hitsounds in song setup under Audio & add http://puu.sh/p9IMf/cfc996ad15.wav to the song folder. Speaking of hitsounds, you need to hitsound your map better! You should start by adding claps where necessary then finishes and whistles.
  4. 00:21:520 - you're following vocals but you don't map this vocal sound :< 00:23:920 - same here. Basically figure out what you want to map and be consistent with it.
  5. 00:24:070 (5,6,7,8) - this is an ugly overlap with the previous slider. Clean this up.
  6. 00:24:520 (8,9) - don't increase the spacing in a stream like this in a hard difficulty.
  7. 00:28:870 (5,1) - clean this overlap. 00:30:070 (1,2,1) - here as well. basically make your map neater in terms of overlap. Why not try stacking objects?
  8. 00:47:170 (4,5,6,7) - Stay consistent with your spacing. Why do you suddenly change your spacing? Use distance snap, especially in a hard difficulty. You can have more freedom in an Insane but try to be more conservative in hard. Also, your map suffers from weird spacing, so make sure you use that distance snap. Only break distance snap when it makes sense like when there's a strong beat you want to emphasize or you want a specific flow.
  9. 01:01:270 (7,1,2) - NOOOOO. Do not increase spacing like this for a 1/4 gap in a hard difficulty. 01:03:670 (1,2,3) - same here. Stuff like this in a hard difficulty does not fly. There are many areas where you do this, fix it. :)
  10. 01:57:070 (3,4) - reason for this gigantic spacing? When you increase spacing, there should be a legitimate reason... what are you trying to emphasize in the music?
  11. 01:57:070 - i don't think kiai needs to start this early... (make sure you change this in all your diffs for consistency)
  12. 02:12:670 - would make more sense to end the spinner here
  13. 00:24:670 - start NC here instead of the next beat. In general, the rule is to start a new NC on every big white tick in insane and hard difficulties and a new NC on every OTHER big white tick on normal and easy difficulties.
  14. Now using the rule I've told you, fix these: 00:29:470 (1,2,1) - 00:31:270 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3) - 00:34:870 (1,2,1) - 00:38:470 (6,7,8,1) - 00:50:470 (5,6,7,1) - and there a lot more, but I'll let you find those. ;)
  15. So, in general... you obviously know some basics of mapping and you know how to manipulate rhythm, but you really really need to work on aesthetics and spacing. Once that's outta the way, the map's pretty much done! :D
Normal

  1. OD - 1 & HP -1 please!
  2. You shouldn't use the same SV for a normal as you did for a hard... try a lower SV like 1.1 (you will have to remap but that's the cost you'll have to pay)
  3. 00:25:270 (2,3) - try blanketing 2 around 3.
  4. 00:42:371 (4,5,6) - please no 1/4 sliders in a normal or easy!! Fix these wherever you find them. Basically, do not use 1/4 rhythm in an easy or normal (now this rule doesn't apply if you're mapping "double bpm" but that's a whole different story and you don't need to be concerned with that for now).
  5. 00:43:570 (7,8) - it's really difficult for new players to hit 2 circles that are 1/2 gap away. Try making this into a slider.
  6. 00:53:470 (1) - you break your 1.0x distance snap here! It's extremely important to keep your distance snap in an easy or normal! You should not break it for these types of difficulties ever. Please fix wherever you find them.
  7. 01:03:070 (7,8) - clean this pattern up please, it doesn't overlap nicely.
  8. 01:25:870 (5) - there would be a better flow if you ctrl+G this slider... you'll have to rearrange the next few objects though.
  9. Remember the NC advice I gave for normal and easy difficulties above? Now apply that info to this normal difficulty and fix your NC issues such as those at 00:21:670 (4,1,2,3,1) - and 00:43:870 (8,1,2,3,4,1) - and continue on. Remember, NC every other major white tick. Start from the beginning of your map and NC along the way.
  10. So... I won't be blunt, this normal needs a remap (especially if you change the SV)!!!!
Easy

  1. OD - 1 & HP - 1 please!
  2. Again, your SV needs to be different for your easy difficulty. Usually people go with a 0.7 or 0.8 for easy difficulties. Again, if you change your SV, you'll need to remap.
  3. 00:25:870 (3,5) - try cleaning up the dirty overlap of the slider ends.
  4. Easy is not too bad! I would say that you need to clean up some of your patterns and maybe try some new ones. Look at other easy difficulties out there and see if you can incorporate some patterns into your map. Blanketing is pretty common in Easy difficulties, so make sure to use that. It makes the map a lot more pleasing. Rhythm-wise, your easy is fine. You don't go too crazy. NCs need to be fixed, so make sure you use that rule I told you about! Good luck!

Hope this mod was useful! :)
