How does picking maps work? Are captains allowed to pick from both map pools or only from their own map pool?

Captains are only allowed to pick maps from their own mappool, all mappools are released on Thursday 10PM UTC+0 in the first post.

Our OWC team captain was invited but he is no longer playing osu! (well kinda, but he didn't want to get involved in this one apparently). Since I was acting as a "coach" for the brazilian team, I was wondering if I could step up to be captain for the BR team.

Also, since you only have 2 teams so far, isn't it a good idea to push dates a little bit later in march?

Of course you can! I only contacted past OWC's captains, doesn't mean they're forced to be captains for this tournament :P

I believe we can hit 16 teams easily before the deadline, if we have less than 10 teams by the 27th Febuary, I'll push the deadline a bit later.

Also, until what date can we make changes on the roster, or is the first submission final? (Sorry if it's written in the therad, currently in my workplace so I can't read all the rules right now).

Edit: also I didn't find at the rules: is country A supposed to pick a map from:

Country B's pool
Country A's pool
or any pool?

You can change your roster until the deadline and you can only pick from your pool

God I wish anyone would make french pool and invite me :D though I'd probably reject....

Really interesting idea though! it's kind of a 1v1 tournament.....as a team

#1 player pl0x, carry is guaranteed Kappa.

France submitted a roster already!

We just hit 8 registered teams, we're halfway there! A lot of players with various skillset are present, this is gonna be interesting!

Either didn't see when I came or wasn't here. Rip anyways, and Good luck France!

If a player get DC'd before the first third of the match, if a FC from him would've changed the outcome of the match, a rematch is allowed.
I would suggest rephrase FC to "a maintained combo" to avoid misunderstanding

Will do!

Sorry to announce that due to the tournament lacking only one team to launch the crews we will be postponing the deadline by one extra week, stay tuned!

To all viewers of osu!crews, I apologize for making the match between Russia and South Korea not as enjoyable as it should have been. I hope that you can enjoy the rest of the tournament.

I think you still did a good job, there's been some rather tricky things going on!

The osu!Crews has now ended!

Props to South Korea for winning the whole tournament! Also to Taiwan for being such a great contender for the 1st place but still ended up 2nd, really fought hard, props to them! After a close and great match, Germany will be placing 3rd at the tournament which leads to Netherlands taking the 4th spot!

Thanks to all the viewers for tuning in, it means a lot, to the whole staff for being so dedicated, it really made the tournament as great as I expected and also to all the participants for trying their best, it made my mind up and I can proudly announce another osu!Crews, bigger and better for March 2017, be sure to not miss it!
