CHANGES TO RULES PLEASE READ (比赛规矩有变化请读以下):
10. For FreeMods, the top 5 scoring players in the room must use at least 1 mod, the rest can use any amounts of mods including none.
11. Once a SightRead map has been chosen, it must be played. For other maps not including TieBreaker, you are allowed to make one change to your selected map if you regretted your initial choice.
12. For the sake of fairness and thrill, do not spread words about what the SightRead maps are. Discovery of such actions will result in disqualification.

12。一旦未揭晓图被选中，选图者不可以更换地图。其他的图最多可以更换一次。

Okay guys after discussing with the Tournament Management we've decided on the somewhat last minute change to the rules etc, I hope this will not ruin your excitement for the tournament.
Change of Map Pool size:
Initially every Map Pool contains maps of:
1 PreAnnounced
8 NoMod
4 Hidden
4 HardRock
4 DoubleTime
1 FlashLight
4 FreeMod
4 SightRead (FreeMod) maps each Round.
1 TieBreak
Total Maps: 31
Now (change):
1 PreAnnounced (-0)
6 NoMod (-2)
3 Hidden (-1)
3 HardRock (-1)
3 DoubleTime (-1)
1 Flashlight (-0)
3 FreeMod (-1)
3 SightRead (-1)
1 TieBreak (-0)
Total Maps: 24 (-7)
Basically the changes are:
- 2 fewer maps from NoMod pool
- 1 fewer maps from every other pool except those with only 1 map.
Rationale for shrinking the map pool:
1. To prevent spamming of NoMod selection.
2. Have less placeholder maps that only serves the purpose of being there for not being selected at all.
3. Map selectors will spend more time choosing fewer maps, more time to test play, more time to debate, therefore overall better map pool.
4. Players could spend more time per map, perform better and enjoy the tournament more.
