Small Cursor Trail?

Recently (the past 10 minutes) I've been wondering how I could get a small yet smooth cursor trail. The big trails are distracting and the small ones have gaps in them

Can anyone tell me if there is a skin out there which allows be to have a non-distracting, smooth trail which I can steal from for my personal skin? I've seen it happen before but don't know how..

That worked but now the trail is short and breaks up more :I

you can change the size of the trail by alternate the cursortrail image, but as far as i know :
[1] without cursormiddle, you will get short trail with more space,
[2] with cursormiddle, you will get long trail with less space.
no other option, pick your poison
