Hi, I have some difficulty concerns regarding the lower difficulties of Taiko.

  • [Kantan]
  1. 00:30:864 (8) - although the song bpm is relatively low, it would be better to remove this note for a 3/1 break so beginners could prepare for the next harder session.
  2. 01:03:197 (39,40) - similar to ^ , you may remove these notes for a longer rest moment before the kiai.
  3. 01:37:239 (21) - consider moving this note to 01:37:989 - to avoid 1/2 triplet in Kantan ?
  • [Futsuu]
  1. 01:02:864 (89,91) - similar to Kantan, these notes could be deleted for some 2/1 breaks before the kiai.
  2. 01:16:864 (6,7) - same as ^
  • [Muzukashii]
  1. From 00:29:864 to 01:41:364 - there are no 3/2 or longer breaks in this 72-second pattern chain, which is too demanding as an intermediate difficulty. For example, 00:42:197 (92) - could be removed to leave a break upon transiting to next session.
  2. 01:02:531 (141,142) - same as ^
  3. 01:16:864 (179) - similar to Futsuu, this note could be removed as well.
In general, Muzukashii is too consecutively mapped at the moment. Feel free to call me for disqualification if you agree with these, then I can provide a more detailed mod to follow through.

Slow bpm is not an excuse for continuous patterning. The main snaps and structure used in Muzukashii are 1/2 and 1/4 like ordinary ones, so gaps shorter than 3/2 are not regarded as effective breaks.

but I feel like the song is slow enough to have the breaks be more scarce, I would agree your concern if this case similar like at DioSynth song on muzukashii.
the difference this map has slow song and xfrac map has fast song, 3/2 for 200bpm would be good for newbie but for 90bpm its emm.. kinda boring and babying a map

I think you could understand what the fraction above implies. As an intermediate difficulty, this length of pattern constellation is not really acceptable. Placing rests could in fact help you emphasize some specific parts rather than enchaining the patterns all together. It would not make the map boring by removing a small number of notes, not to mention how this would baby a map.

You may also refer to the ranking criteria regarding the guidelines for Muzukashii. As mentioned previously, although the song bpm is relatively slow, the said chain is much longer than the suggested 20/1 to leave a 3/2 break. I hope you could understand the great discrepancies and reconsider my suggestions.

I would leave it to other Taiko QATs for now.

Rhythm related guidelines and rules apply to approximately 180 BPM maps. If your song is drastically faster or slower, some variables might be different. Apply reasonable judgment in these cases.
I'd say it's enough with the 1/1 spam here: 00:43:197 (95,96,97,98) - 00:48:531 (108,109,110,111) -

You should insert at least 1 rest moment that is 3/2 or longer after 16/1 to 20/1 of continuous mapping.
It sure doesn't go well with this guideline, however, the song is drastically slower & I don't think it really need any more break.

I agree with Kin here. Yes, the map is 80-90 bpm and lacks of 3/2 breaks on Muzu, however, if you think through this way, on 180 bpm scale (which fits exactly with the RC) the breaks should be 3/4 or more, and the muzukashii one already has 1/1 breaks more than enough. Same goes for Futsuu in 1/1 and Kantan for 2/1. Senjou no Aria's taiko diffs mapped based on 220 bpm breaks, which can be seen on Kantan there are 3/2 and 2/1 breaks but very rarely 3/1 breaks, and this should be treated like that as well.

Seems fine to me. Low bpm is a valid reason for using longer chains imo. The principle holds true for standard and ctb too.

alright, let's follow the slow BPM argument

but then we need to make adjustments to Kantan and Futsuu:

Kantan needs more frequent 1/2s, and since you cannot introduce 1/4 in Futsuu, longer 1/2 chains will work just fine.

Both sides of the argument are correct, but if you apply that argument, you must apply it to the entire set, not just one difficulty :(

karena issues di mapset ini cuman di taiko setnya dong, bisa sih nanti langsung dibub kalau issues telah di perbaiki di taikonya. tapi ada baiknya mode ctbnya di check lagi untuk memastikan ga ada apa-apa yang berisko, ntar pas requalify lagi malah buwahnya yang bermaslah lol.
