00:58:531 (8) - Antiflow movement to this feels quite strong right now, I'm not really a fan of how strong it is, try reducing it slightly to like x:288.applied
01:04:031 (9) - Stronger distance, maybe x:288, would be nice to make a dash here more prominent, as this note is quite strong. After doing this, Ctrl+G on 01:04:531 (1,2) - could also play nicer. yes fixed all, dash 8,9 9,1 look good now
01:13:197 (3) - Distance to this right now is too hard of a dash for an average platter player, try reducing it to something more comfortable like x:320. applied, I guess this is an easy dash lol: V and right, i want this diff playable for average player
01:14:531 (7) - Again, this one's a bit strong too, especially for antiflow movement. Try reducing to x:400. yess, reduced
01:23:197 (5) - Distance to this is far too strong for a platter player, most would have a lot of difficulty hitting this. Try x:448 instead, a lot better to play. okee reduced
01:24:197 (2) - This note is quite strong, a nice antiflow dash could work nicely with it. Try x:48. okk applied
01:25:864 (5,6,7) - Hmm, I feel as though the movements here could be made a little more clean, and a HDash to 7 for that strong finish sound would work well. Try 5 on x:400, 6 on x:96, and 7 on x:496. yesss nicee h dash on 6,7 then hdash on next pattern in 2,3
01:32:531 (1,2,3,4) - Dash to 1 could be nice for the strong change in piano pitch here. Try ctrl+Hing this section and moving it to x:64. its ok with distance to 1 ? ok ill try it bcaus slow part on next pattren, i think its okye but i can't add distance this on 00:15:197 - maybi too hard

01:26:531 (7,8) - Hmm, dash to 7 being so strong and then followed by strong antiflow movement plays a bit too difficult for a rain in my opinion. Try moving 7 to x:88, and then, to keep the HDash, move 8 to x:480.
01:31:198 (2,3) - Again, 2 doesn't really feel strong enough to a HDash for me, seeing as you're mainly using claps for HDashes in this section, and this note isn't too strong for the piano either. Try 2 to x:316, and then Ctrl+g 3 and move it to x:492. //retained for same reason as before
01:34:614 (3) - I think you meant for this to be a HDash, to follow similar HDash patterns earlier. Move this to x:364 to add one.

also, i checked again the taiko diffs. i think no one has mentioned this, but consider adding green line at 01:33:864 - with 1.13x velocity to adjust scroll speed when the bpm changes.
optionally can also add these green lines to make smooth slow down and makes player aware that bpm is changing:

Saw this was qualified after not knowing anything about it and decided to check it out - I have a few points I wanted to ask about before this gets a full rank.

Prof. Gila's Salad

My main issue with this diff is how dash is used. Outside of the kiai there are only a handful of dashes and these are nearly all borderline 1/4 jumps which are very challenging to read and annoying to play. There are plenty of good spots to add easy 1/2 dash that were ignored, such as 00:18:864 (3,1) - 00:39:531 (6,7) - 00:40:197 (8,1) - 00:42:864 (6,1) - and so on. Without these, the diff essentially feels like a Cup with a handful of annoying 1/4 dashes thrown in (see below)
  1. 00:03:697 (2,3) - Spacing is very close to requiring dash, could confuse new players as they are unsure whether to dash or not. I'd increase this distance a little (if dash is intended)
  2. 00:10:197 (1,2) - For a diff that's intended to introduce dashing, it's very strange that the first dash is a very sharp 1/4 spacing. This will be seriously unexpected for players of this difficulty - Making (1) a circle instead of 1/4 slider to create a 1/2 dash would be best in this situation, but if you must keep the 1/4 dash, (1) should probably be vertical and the overall spacing much less, something like 3.5x instead of the 5.1x you have currently, as demonstrated at 00:40:864 (2,3)
  3. 00:31:531 (5,1) - As above, slanted 1/4 sliders leading into dash is highly likely to confuse new players, and this spacing is even more sharp than the first one
  4. 00:32:864 (1,2,3) - Why dash to (3) when the strong drum sound is on (2)? You repeat this throughout such as 00:35:864 (4,5) - 00:38:197 (3,4) - presumably for following the piano pitch, but it's so hard to follow when the drum sounds are that much more prominent
  5. 00:58:864 (4,1,2,3) - This is much better as it uses more comfortable but still interesting 1/2 dash patterns, why didn't you do this more often earlier in the song? ):
  6. 01:09:197 (2,3,4) - Why is the dash to (3) when the strong sound with cymbal is on the next note (4)? Leaves this feeling very underemphasized and awkward to play.
  7. 01:12:030 (6,7,1) - For the strong cymbal sound, 1/2 dash to the slider (1) would be both more appropriate for the difficulty and fitting to the rhythm
  8. 01:14:864 (5,6) - Again, where's the dash for the strong cymbal sound here? There's so much emphasis lost here by mapping this as a normal movement like the surrounding weaker sounds
  9. 01:17:531 (5,1) - ^ etc. (there are quite a few of these...)
Additionally in momot's Platter

Welp let's take a look here. Overall I was pretty disappointed about the response I got to the last mod I made on the salad, which consisted of responses that were inadequate or rejections without any information as to WHY they were rejected. Hopefully, the DQ made you realize that the difficulty isn't good right now, and that things will really need to be fixed. Most specifically, the dashes.

  1. 00:03:197 (3,1,2) - Not a big fan of this stack here, the catcher should really be moving constantly, and this is a good place to start. Ctrl+g'ing 00:03:531 (1,2,3,4) - would make for a dash addition and some added movement, which is needed here, in my opinion.
  2. 00:05:864 (3) - You could really add a dash to here. The note is really high and could use some more movement besides a walking distance.
  3. 00:11:197 (1,1) - I don't know why these have such strong notes on slider ends. You'd be much better off making these 1/2 sliders with a circle on where the slider USED to end. That way, the note becomes more emphasized, rather than just another object in a slider. You could also make dashes to them, also.
  4. 00:13:531 (4,1) - Adding some distance (or a dash) between here would be nice due to the heavier piano layer which is added on this note for more emphasis.
  5. 00:15:531 (2,3,4) - This is a really weird decline, I think making them evenly spaced would help the pattern look a little cleaner in my opinion. Also, maybe some added distance at 00:15:531 (2,3) - to compliment the finisher could be nice.
  6. 00:17:197 (3) - Same fix as before with a 1/2 slider and a note. You're really missing a strong beat on these red ticks by having these long sliders, and by switching these patterns a bit, you can help the rhythm out with more close interpretation.
  7. 00:19:864 (2) - Tilting this to the right and forcing a dash to 00:20:531 (3) - would be a great way to set up the next section of music here, rather than make the whole distance walkable.
  8. 00:24:531 (3,4) - These distances are really quite close, which makes the difficulty feel a bit squished. Try adding a dash between 00:24:364 (2,3) - and moving 00:24:864 (4) - more to the right, making it horizontal so it plays better out of the previous dash pattern.
  9. 00:25:364 (5,6) - A dash to 6 could be nice too, since the piano is REALLY strong here!
  10. 00:27:197 (3,1,2,3) - This whole pattern is cramped on the right grid, you should really add some spacing here to make the difficulty less restricting, and allowing the catcher to move a bit more, rather than making it sharp and choppy.
  11. 00:32:864 (1,2,3) - The pattern is really wrong, since you have the dash going to 00:33:364 (3) - when the strong note is at 00:33:197 (2) - . I'd suggest moving (2) to the right alongside (3) and rework the distances to that the dash is kept, but the pattern is more comfortable.
  12. 00:35:531 (3,4,5) - Same here, really. It also doesn't help that 00:34:864 (1,2,3) - are so close to each other. I'd suggest reworking the entire pattern here to ensure there is more constant movement and good flow, by taking the suggestion I did earlier about the strong note being alongside the slider after the dash.
  13. 00:37:864 (2,3,4) - Why are these stacked? (3,4) should be farther away from 2 due to their stronger notation in the music, if anything. Move these away and give some distance here, it feels too close.
  14. 00:50:864 (8,1) - Really strong note on 1, adding a dash would be really recommended here
  15. 00:52:531 (5) - NC this for the new line, and add some distance between this and the previous note.
  16. Additionally, adding some dash between 00:52:864 (6,7,8) - would be really good since the notes pick up emphasis here and it could be nice leading up to the kiai.
  17. 00:53:864 (1,3,1,3) - All these 1/1 sliders should be changed to match the emphasis of the song, as stated above. I think there's room for improvement in these patterns as well, with them being a bit too cramped.
  18. 01:00:864 (4) - ctrl+h'ing this works REALLY well here, since it gives room for the catcher to move, and creates a nice jump.
  19. JBHyperion pointed out a lot of stuff in the kiai so I'll let this be for now. Please take your time to reconsider this difficulty and don't be stubborn when accepting stuff. If you're going to deny anything, please give a REASON to why you're denying it, and make it a good reason. I don't want to come back here after another Qualify and write the same stuff.

they're not killing the mapper's spirit. they just want to improve the diff. i was also discouraged by the salad mapper's responses. stop being stubborn and try to accept mods.

Why would anyone "blame" someone who is trying to help improve the map? No-one is trying to derail the thread or spite the mappers... Quite the opposite in fact.

As long as the suggestions continue to help improve and polish the map, more mods and more time in Pending is a GOOD THING.

Hey there. I should apologize for being a bit rude with my words, I think maybe they came across too mean. I really would love too see this set improved, it's really a nice song. I don't intend on crushing mapper spirits ^^

  4. 00:32:864 (1,2,3) - Why dash to (3) when the strong drum sound is on (2)? You repeat this throughout such as 00:35:864 (4,5) - 00:38:197 (3,4) - presumably for following the piano pitch, but it's so hard to follow when the drum sounds are that much more prominent | in case to get the feedback to dash after hearing the drum sound, i prefer make them dash (hope this part isn't an awkward part)
  5. 00:58:864 (4,1,2,3) - This is much better as it uses more comfortable but still interesting 1/2 dash patterns, why didn't you do this more often earlier in the song? ): | i don't think about it (i just mapped the song whatsoever)
  6. 01:09:197 (2,3,4) - Why is the dash to (3) when the strong sound with cymbal is on the next note (4)? Leaves this feeling very underemphasized and awkward to play. | distance 01:09:197 (2) is rearranged, overall, i rearranged the distances a bit
  7. 01:12:030 (6,7,1) - For the strong cymbal sound, 1/2 dash to the slider (1) would be both more appropriate for the difficulty and fitting to the rhythm | yeah fixed
  8. 01:14:864 (5,6) - Again, where's the dash for the strong cymbal sound here? There's so much emphasis lost here by mapping this as a normal movement like the surrounding weaker sounds | i don't mean for that part to make a dash here :(

btw buat prof.g
minta maap jangan lupa ke ascendance, dia marah itu dgn respon mu di mod yang sebelumnya prof.g, kata terakhir dia di mod nya jleb bener itu
style map mu boleh aja dipake, tapi kan ini konteks nya ranked, dimain banyak orang gitu,
kalo masalah respon ke mod, kalo memang ada mod yang buat pattern atau isi map mu lebih baek, ga ada salahnya ngerubah style mu sedikit, mod mereka ga akan ngerubah isi dengan fatal kok, juga misal menolak mod, usahakan jawabnya berisi, jangan cuma no terus udah, pasti dong ada 'inilah kenapa aku mempertahankan pattern ini maka akan kujelaskan mengapa mod mu kutolak untuk saat ini' ga salah kok apply mod kalo memang itu buat jadi lebih baik, tetap ini diff tetap punyamu, bukan punya yang ngemod atau apalah, juga sebelum dq ada mod dari mb kan ? nah disitu kan gw sih melihatnya itu final mod, dimana titik titik yg dibilang mbom itu titik fatal yg harus dibetulkan, kalo ngga terancan dq, menurut gw ya pribadi. juga mod dari bn itu gak sembarangan, pasti isi mod tsb juga berguna, wong namanya bn masuknya aja udah ada testnya.
jadi mod ascendace itu kamu urus juga, dia udah bilang, mod jbh fokus di kiai part, maka ascendance mengurus yang sebelumnya
masih bisa digunakan kok mod nya
terakhir, jangan lupa untuk melihat contoh diff diff lain yang ranked,
komen diff mu sih salad mu masih rasa cup, tapi ada jump jump fatal/kejauhan malah mirip platter ya ga banyak tapi jadinya gak konsisten gitu
lalu jangan karna ini kamu harus mengapply semua mod, misal ada yang mod kurang pas tolak aja, tapi jelaskan mengapa kamu menolak mod itu, supaya yg mod tadi tau.
