I try to keep them down but they cant be stopped. Right now i have 11 and almost all of them are useless.

About 290 on Firefox, and another 124 on Chrome. 1.5 GB of ram allocated for FF, no idea with Chrome, but would estimate 2 GB since not all of FF's are currently loaded (set on don't load until switch to). 24 GB of ram on this computer, so I manage, but you don't need to tell me I have a problem... That's just this computer mind you, they tend to pile up on other ones as well...
