Just hold on to the long notes.
You'll be fine. I promise.

Difficulties

Easy (HP 7 | OD 7) - Just had a grasp of 7K and want to play more? This difficulty is just for you!
Normal (HP 7.2 | OD 7.2) - This difficulty may be twice as dense as the last difficulty, but it has basic long note patterns that can help with your reading and timing.
Hard (HP 7.5 | OD 7.5) - This one is packaged with patterns that get more complex in the second half, so get yourself ready for chords, long notes and 1/4 notes!
Insane (HP 8 | OD 8) - Here's where the fun stuff begins. Constant 1/4 streams along with chords and long notes sprinkled with 1/6 bursts on top will surely make your fingers dance.
Pew's Another (HP 8.5 | OD 8) - A difficulty that puts a challenge to your reading and dexterity. The patterns get trickier the further you go, so be prepared for heavy streams and short long notes!
Blocko & Soul's Extra (HP 8.8 | OD 8) - This difficulty is quite a rollercoaster, as its patterns can be smooth but heavy and can also be light but confusing to play through. Be ready for those patterns as you're in for a wild ride!
Soul Evans - 00:00:111 - to 02:26:934 -
Blocko - 02:26:934 - to 04:25:522 -
Resolve (HP 9 | OD 8) - Still seeking a challenge since the last difficulty wasn't hard enough? This difficulty contains heavy amounts of long notes, chordstreams, bursts, and all of those combined to challenge reading, dexterity and endurance to all players alike. Good luck, and just hold on until victory!

Adiopulse's First Terrible 7k Mod

All Diffs
Easy------------------------------------
Add
lns from 01:19:169 - to 01:36:110 - cause it follows the string instrument
01:41:758 - add notes for vocals instead of changes for strings to 01:53:052 -
03:12:110 - ^ to 03:33:287 - or 03:34:699 -
add lns 03:57:287 - to 04:08:581 -

Pattern Changes
keep this going 01:12:287 (72287|0,72640|0,72993|6,73346|6,73699|1,74052|1,74405|5,74758|5) - till 01:17:758 -

Move
these two are the same pitch, 02:52:346 (172346|0) and 02:53:581 (173581|2) have them in the same col

Hard-----------------------------------------

Pattern Changes
id rethink these patterns over 01:10:699 - they seem awk and out of place compared to the rest of the map

Other
this is what your normal diff needs 02:04:357 talking about the ln placement

Insane---------------------------------------

Pattern Changes
maybe try having notes with a 1 col space instead of 123 to 135? 00:22:875 -

Other
i love it 02:32:934 to 02:37:522 - ;) c: 8-)

id change it so the pattern consistency is constant 00:53:934 (53934|2,54110|2) really hard to hit

Only did Extra so far, but man it is sooo good.
[General]
Hitsound files are fine.
Timing seems fine.
Fuck checking metadata, that's not my job.
[Patterning]
00:31:522 - You repeat the same patterning here and 00:31:875 - , though it feels like you might be trying to alternate between them (if you look at the earlier points of this section).
00:55:522 - Maybe change this section a bit so it kinda repeats the previous instance of this? That way, you can make something where it feels like you are just simply skipping a beat/note, and it would play the same otherwise. It would require a significant pattern change throughout in order to keep the upwards staircase though (which feels a lot better), so idk if youo'd be willing to do that.
01:15:993 - Any reason why the center goes 54354 instead of 53454, repeating what was previously going on?
01:50:581 - I thinked you fucked up the PR here? Vocals go C -> D, but the LN on 2 becomes the one that's set to vocals.

02:09:993 - So I have a couple minor comments with this section, but most of these changes would require serious rearranging, in which everything is already pretty decent. So do whatever you think is actually plausible to do here.
02:10:434 - PR: Technically this note is a lower than the previous double note.
02:10:699 - Could opt to make this the same as 02:10:169 - .
02:11:846 - Same as 2 above
02:12:110 - Same as 2 above
02:13:522 - See, you did the repeating thing here!
02:14:669 - Same comment about the lower chord thing.
Again, all minor, don't do it if it takes too much work/ruins previous or future patterns.

02:38:052 - This sound is softer than the sounds 02:37:787 - and 02:37:875 - , so it might be worth trying having just a single note on 4 instead?
[SVs]
00:21:287 - Could consider having this be a slowdown instead of just staying at 0.95x. Maybe go back down to like, 0.8x or something, would need testing.
00:22:522 - Should probably normalize these 2 SV's to go with the slower speed before it, rather than 1.0x. Also, if you want the SVs to be emphasized more, you should have the LN start from 00:22:346 - instead, without the single notes, and have it speed up about halfway throughish. Not sure if that would fit in with your pattering here, but oh well. If you keep the patterning in its current state, you could alternatively try a more extreme SV setting, like 0.5x/1.5x instead.
00:33:728 - You can probably try to go a little bit faster here than you currently have them set them to for the speed up. I tried 0.98x -> 1.04x -> 1.10x, and it wasn't too bad.
00:45:022 - Same as above.
00:56:316 - Ditto.
01:19:169 - You could just do a straight 1.0x -> 0.75x here. After the buildup that just happened, it seems cool to just suddenly slow down, rather than slowly do so.
02:03:993 - 2nd half of the comment at 00:22:522 -
02:26:758 - Same as above. Not really possible to change the patterning in this case though.
02:48:110 - You could also have this section between kiais slow down a little bit (0.9x?. Something pretty minor).
02:49:346 - Same as like, you get the point I think.
03:34:522 - I think you get it now?
No seriously, this map is absolutely amazing. Have a star, this was a blast to go through.

Easy------------------------------------
Add
lns from 01:19:169 - to 01:36:110 - cause it follows the string instrument Ehh, I don't really wanna add LNs everywhere. Not for this diff. I made some measures have LNs and some have regular notes so newcomers don't have to hold on to a note for longer than 15 seconds. I did add some LNs anyway, but not too many.
01:41:758 - add notes for vocals instead of changes for strings to 01:53:052 - Same reason as above, though I like to add that I want this difficulty to be simple and very accessible, so I avoided mapping the vocals for now.
03:12:110 - ^ to 03:33:287 - or 03:34:699 - Same reason as above.

Normal------------------------------------
Add
lns for the strings? 03:00:816 - Nope. Only mapped the high-pitched synths here (with some notes in-between) to build up to the upcoming pattern.

00:31:522 - You repeat the same patterning here and 00:31:875 - , though it feels like you might be trying to alternate between them (if you look at the earlier points of this section). That's what I'm doing here, but I rearranged the patterns a bit to make the alternation stand out more.
Applied suggestion. Did have to slightly change the next pattern afterwards but it didn't really affect it a lot.
01:15:993 - Any reason why the center goes 54354 instead of 53454, repeating what was previously going on? Playability, but I changed the rest of the pattern so goes with 54354.
01:50:581 - I thinked you fucked up the PR here? Vocals go C -> D, but the LN on 2 becomes the one that's set to vocals. Yeah, I was aiming for a little more playability here but it doesn't really make much of a difference either way. So, changed in accordance to pitch.

02:09:993 - So I have a couple minor comments with this section, but most of these changes would require serious rearranging, in which everything is already pretty decent. So do whatever you think is actually plausible to do here.
02:10:434 - PR: Technically this note is a lower than the previous double note.

Again, all minor, don't do it if it takes too much work/ruins previous or future patterns.
Too late I did all of that on this and to all similar parts as well hahahaha

02:38:052 - This sound is softer than the sounds 02:37:787 - and 02:37:875 - , so it might be worth trying having just a single note on 4 instead? Removed one note from 4 instead. The synth is pretty loud here, so based on intensity and consistency with 02:37:787 (157787|0,157787|6) - , a 2-note chord should do the trick.
[SVs]
00:21:287 - Could consider having this be a slowdown instead of just staying at 0.95x. Maybe go back down to like, 0.8x or something, would need testing. 0.85x should do it. It's kinda similar to 01:40:346 - 0.8x, but I sped it up a little since the drums are present there.
Made the LNs start on the white line along with changes to SVs.
00:33:728 - You can probably try to go a little bit faster here than you currently have them set them to for the speed up. I tried 0.98x -> 1.04x -> 1.10x, and it wasn't too bad. Tested this a couple of times. Not bad. Applied.
00:45:022 - Same as above. Same as above.
00:56:316 - Ditto. Ditto.
01:19:169 - You could just do a straight 1.0x -> 0.75x here. After the buildup that just happened, it seems cool to just suddenly slow down, rather than slowly do so. Alrighty, then.
02:03:993 - 2nd half of the comment at 00:22:522 - Done.
02:26:758 - Same as above. Not really possible to change the patterning in this case though. Can't really change it the way it's layered out.
02:48:110 - You could also have this section between kiais slow down a little bit (0.9x?. Something pretty minor). Done. Puts a nice emphasis on this part, too.
02:49:346 - Same as like, you get the point I think. Can't change this either since I want to layer the synths consistently.
03:34:522 - I think you get it now? Maybe.
No seriously, this map is absolutely amazing. Have a star, this was a blast to go through. I'm really glad that you like it!

01:40:346 (100346|2) - I suggest this to be not an LN as the percussion is absent there
02:04:346 - 02:09:993 - I think you'd better map the flute here. like this?

02:19:875 (139875|5,140405|5,140758|5) - move to 6 and...
02:22:699 (142699|6,143228|6,143581|6) - to 5, to match the colors better
03:13:522 (193522|3) - same column as before, hm... move to 1?
03:44:581 (224581|0,224934|2,225287|4) - move all these right by 1 column so as to use every column like nearby patterns?
03:51:993 (231993|2,231993|3,232699|4,232699|3) - I felt these doubles is a bit difficult for beginners. Change both to (24)?

[Normal]
00:09:993 (9993|1) - Move to 2 to use more columns I guess..
00:56:405 (56405|3) - perhaps remove this note too, looks a bit odd here
01:23:758 (83758|2,83934|4,84287|5) - shift all left by 1 column not to be the same as before?
01:26:228 (86228|1,86581|2,86758|4,87110|5) - ^
01:35:581 (95581|4) - move to 3 as lower pitch as before
01:57:640 (117640|6,117993|1,118346|5) - Let here be vocals only, remove?
02:00:463 (120463|5,120816|0,121169|6) - ^
02:26:581 (146581|3) - looks like you are going for broken vocal for this part. This LN seems too long. Should end at 02:28:346 - ?
02:47:758 (167758|3,168110|3) - 1/1 jacks when it was absent right before it. Move the last note to 2?
03:10:346 (190346|1,190522|5) - pattern changes which would be 0,6, but there is 03:10:699 (190699|0) - ,argh...
03:54:463 - 03:55:875 - consider 1/2 double streams here as the percussion is getting strong lmao

[Hard]
00:11:758 (11758|2,12110|5,12463|2) - using doubles (LN + note) seems too strong for that vocal. Remove the notes?
00:17:405 (17405|1,17758|4,18110|2) - ^
01:17:758 - 01:19:169 - Take away the LN and do the 1/6s? This is especially confusing with hitsounds. I think it won't be too hard as long as the patterning is fine (stairs would be good)
03:00:816 - remove one note? 4 notes seems a bit too strong
03:10:699 - same as 01:17:758 - revise
03:55:875 - ^
04:02:934 - 04:19:875 - here some flute are mapped as note + LN and some don't. There is also a soft flute but it doesn't match the places where notes are present. As a result the extra notes seems random. Revise?
04:09:993 - missing soft flute
04:12:816 - ^
04:15:640 - ^
04:18:463 - ^

[Insane]

01:05:581 (65581|4,65758|4) - inadvertent 1/2 jacks. Move former to 5?
01:26:581 (86581|0) - move to 1 to be different column as the LN before?
01:33:816 (93816|4) - move to 3 due to LN before?
01:56:052 (116052|2) - avoid note right after LN. Move to 1?
01:59:581 (119581|2) - ^
02:07:699 (127699|4) - Seems misplaced by 1/4 later, this goes to different instrument in this section
02:22:875 (142875|2) - avoid note right after LN. Move to 1?
03:23:228 (203228|4) - ^ to 6?

02:19:346 - 02:19:875 - ^

[Extra]
00:33:640 - as in Insane 00:56:228 - , add note?

00:59:405 (59405|3) - Move to 2 seems better balance? (due to 01:00:463 (60463|3) - ) I'd have to change the overall structure in that part, which is a short 1/1 trill for one measure that changes position. No change on this.
01:40:346 (100346|2) - I suggest this to be not an LN as the percussion is absent there That note layers the flute. It'd reduce the impact to the upcoming chord if I turn that into a regular note.
02:04:346 - 02:09:993 - I think you'd better map the flute here. like this?

Might be a bit more complicated to read for beginners. Leaving this unchanged for now since I'm aiming for this difficulty to be simple in terms of snapping and gameplay.
02:19:875 (139875|5,140405|5,140758|5) - move to 6 and...
02:22:699 (142699|6,143228|6,143581|6) - to 5, to match the colors better If you mean to match the symmetry, then sure.

03:44:581 (224581|0,224934|2,225287|4) - move all these right by 1 column so as to use every column like nearby patterns? Changed the pattern structure so these two measures use every column.

00:09:993 (9993|1) - Move to 2 to use more columns I guess.. Previous patterns used all columns regularly, though.
00:56:405 (56405|3) - perhaps remove this note too, looks a bit odd here That note's mapped to the synth there. The pattern structure would be incomplete without it.
01:23:758 (83758|2,83934|4,84287|5) - shift all left by 1 column not to be the same as before? Rearranged a big part of this so the center column is used more often instead.
01:26:228 (86228|1,86581|2,86758|4,87110|5) - ^ Same as above.
01:35:581 (95581|4) - move to 3 as lower pitch as before Changed the overall pattern instead to fit the pitch.
01:57:640 (117640|6,117993|1,118346|5) - Let here be vocals only, remove? That would make this part the same as the previous one, which would make this part a little boring. No change for now.
02:00:463 (120463|5,120816|0,121169|6) - ^ Same as above.
02:26:581 (146581|3) - looks like you are going for broken vocal for this part. This LN seems too long. Should end at 02:28:346 - ? That vocal starts breaking at 02:28:522 - , though.
02:47:758 (167758|3,168110|3) - 1/1 jacks when it was absent right before it. Move the last note to 2? Alright.
03:10:346 (190346|1,190522|5) - pattern changes which would be 0,6, but there is 03:10:699 (190699|0) - ,argh... Changed the overall pattern. Previously, that one roughly follows the synth, but it would make it easier to hit if the previous pattern goes along with this one.
03:54:463 - 03:55:875 - consider 1/2 double streams here as the percussion is getting strong lmao That would make this diff go really close to above 2.25*, which isn't what I'm really going for.

[Hard]
00:11:758 (11758|2,12110|5,12463|2) - using doubles (LN + note) seems too strong for that vocal. Remove the notes? It's not too dense imo. Also, those doubles exist on other parts of the map with a different pattern scheme, so it shouldn't be that hard to hit.
00:17:405 (17405|1,17758|4,18110|2) - ^ Same as above
01:17:758 - 01:19:169 - Take away the LN and do the 1/6s? This is especially confusing with hitsounds. I think it won't be too hard as long as the patterning is fine (stairs would be good) That would be too rough considering the BPM. Not really particularly fond of putting 1/6s in either unless the BPM is slow enough for it.
03:00:816 - remove one note? 4 notes seems a bit too strong Nah, it's strong enough. I already have a 4-note chord layered just like that in 02:49:522 - and 03:12:110 - , so I'd rather keep up with the chord consistency there.
03:10:699 - same as 01:17:758 - revise Same reason about the 1/6s
03:55:875 - ^ Same as above

04:02:934 - 04:19:875 - here some flute are mapped as note + LN and some don't. There is also a soft flute but it doesn't match the places where notes are present. As a result the extra notes seems random. Revise?
04:09:993 - missing soft flute
04:12:816 - ^
04:15:640 - ^
04:18:463 - ^
Added the rest of them.

[Insane]
00:56:228 - Kick is absent I know, but the noise is still present. Add one note for flow reasons?? Though it will give it some flow, I want this part to retain rigidity with the song. Leaving this unchanged for now.
01:05:581 (65581|4,65758|4) - inadvertent 1/2 jacks. Move former to 5? Rearranged that part instead to avoid hammering.
01:26:581 (86581|0) - move to 1 to be different column as the LN before? uhh alright
01:33:816 (93816|4) - move to 3 due to LN before? Don't really see why I should do that. I mean, it doesn't really give a problem with reading or playing, so I'm leaving this as it is.
01:56:052 (116052|2) - avoid note right after LN. Move to 1? Done.
01:59:581 (119581|2) - ^ Done.
02:07:699 (127699|4) - Seems misplaced by 1/4 later, this goes to different instrument in this section Oops. Nice find!
02:22:875 (142875|2) - avoid note right after LN. Move to 1? Done.
03:23:228 (203228|4) - ^ to 6? Moved it to some other column instead.

[Extra]
00:33:640 - as in Insane 00:56:228 - , add note? Same reason like in Insane.
00:43:875 (43875|0) - Move this to 3 to prevent note right after LN? I'd have to change the overall structure in the last two measures there. Leaving this unchanged for now.
00:53:846 (53846|5) - ^, move to 3? Changed the overall structure of that part instead to remove that particular pattern.
00:56:228 - as in insane, add note? Naaaah. Same reason like in Insane.

superb map :)
Thanks a bunch for the mod, pwhk!

umm is there any way to download the difficulty used on MWC?
Nope, sorry!

I can try to replicate that with the same patterns, but I'll need some time.

[Pew's Another]
00:54:110 (54110|2) - Move to 3 to prevent note right after LN? if i change this, everything going to mess my pattern consistency
00:58:346 (58346|5) - ^
01:01:169 (61169|3) - ^ to 1?
01:02:581 (62581|5) - ^ to 6?
01:06:816 (66816|6) - ^ to 5?
01:07:963 (67963|3) - ^ to 2?

02:16:699 - 02:17:052 - main is present on all 1/4s here. Use 1/4 short-LN streams? - all fixed, changed them to 1/4 short ln stream
02:19:346 - 02:19:875 - ^

thanks
