[Archived] I cannot upload my result

http://prntscr.com/a0wdf1 It says "Score upload failed. Repeating in 1 minute(s)." in portuguese.

It happens everytime osu tries to submit a score... It started happening a day or two ago. I also can't upload screenshots now, maybe it helps to fix the issue.

Everything else is working just fine, I can play on multiplayer, I can play on solo queue, old scores are loaded correctly, top #50 scores from each beatmap is loaded, it shows my rank on multiplayer matches, etc.

Well... I noticed that everything in Osu! site became tooooo laggy, I gotta refresh the page like 10 times, because it stops loading every time, due to how long it is taking to load the site (yes, Osu! is the only site that way, any other site I enter loads just fine). I noticed that most players who complained here are Brazilians, so I have 2 guesses: Bancho is overloaded with the amount of games being played simutaneously. Or there's a connection issue with Brazil and some other countries, which made some random unfortunate people to have this problem. Either way, it's not something we can solve by ourselves, unless anyone is up to move to another country, which is... you know, not an option.

Well, everything I said is not necessarily what's happening, and if that's the case, I want someone to correct me, but for now, I'm waiting for some fixes on bancho, since that seems to be the problem, and I hope it happens soon...

I've been having this problem for three days straight, messed in all options and no results at all.

I just managed to fix it by closing ALL VPN programs that were running on my computer.

VPN programs = Hamachi, Garena, Game ranger, Tunngle and etc.

let me know if worked for anyone else.

I wonder why it's mainly users in Brazil having this problem.

was having this issue for a couple days too, yesterday I tried changing dns and such, but it did not solve the problem and just let it off, came back now and it's working fine. I guess whatever it was, it was solved. Probably a server issue.

download hotspot shield that will be able to play a good ... good I solved my problem with this program, I'm not sure if it will work with all

Well just like with user @Utena my problem was solved out of nowhere but well all that matter is I am able to play normally again.

this still occurring with any Brazilians?
if it is: try to see if it's actually random - make sure that it isn't happening at certain times
also, is it stuck on "submitting score" forever, then sends a notification like so: "Trying again in X minutes..."?

Once you finish a song and it just gets stuck here, you know that it wont ever submit (The failed to submit score trying again in 1 minute etc etc pops up)

Are you able to use multiplayer, access chat, all that?
Can you also try switching to Stable(Fallback) and Cutting Edge? Does this make any difference?

Everything else works, Tried stable and there was no difference

It seems that i am having the same problem , i am running on osu stable version and i was able to play osu earlier however when i logged in now , it would show my name but a gray box appears on my top left with just my name and whats weird was that i wasnt able to get the chat box to show up and that it wasnt showing any scores and was stuck on submitting score , idk what to do

Well... I haven't any VPN programs, but it still didn't upload. I noticed that Brazilian players mainly were affected too, so my guess was that it was an issue with bancho, and I still think it is, because it solved by itself a day ago. It's working fine now.

I am also having serious trouble getting scores submitted. I've been playing frequently over the last week but only three scores have made it through.

Apologies for the double-post, however I feel it's pertinent to do so:

As a last ditch effort to get my scores submitted, I tethered to my phone's connection, and the scores that had been queued up went through straight away. The notable difference here is DNS, I believe. My home connection is configured to use Google's DNS servers (8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4).

I don't know what my phone is set up to use, though I could find out if that'd help.

It'll be interesting to see what DNS servers other people who are having this problem are using.

EDIT: Upon investigation, DNS had nothing to do with it. However a significant portion of my scores made it through.

So any word on the solution? None of my scores got through for the past couple of days. Chat and multi work just fine, no vpns active.

Yeah, everything seems okay on my side, no firewalls and the internet is working. Redownloading dlls didn't seem to help, scores still getting stuck on retrieving online ranking statistics.
