hmmmm, I'll be honest here.

In no particular order (well maybe the top few are more highly ranked in my list):

val0108 (^ except this guy, wtf BEAST totally number 1)
NatsumeRin (rolling girl, tokyo teddy bear, senbonzakura, melancholic, etc.)
La Cataline (Sense [yea not ranked], E.T and a few more)
Shiirn (noisestorm 'nuff said)
GladiOol (a lot of his guess diffs)
S i R i R u (for general anime stuff and storyboarding, he is baus)
wcx19911123 ( ^ )
Nymph ( ^ )
Blue Dragon (self explanatory)
Lesjuh (I know he's great and has really mastered this, but his maps just don't really stick with me for some reason)
happy30 (world's end 'nuff said)
Odaril (three words, GREEN GRASS GARDEN)
Larto (DISTURBIA, his other maps are good of course)
AngelHoney (Identity Part 4)
lolcubes (Hades: The Rise)
galvenize (GOLD DUST MAN, his diff on ampzz G-garden is also stellar)
osuplayer111/Andrea (mostly a copy paste guy, he even admits it himself lol, but out of those 1xx maps there are bound to be some very good stuff like Kuusou Mesorogiwi)

I may have forgotten a few XD.

For the SBs you forgot Card N'FoRcE D:

Btw,my favourite mappers are at the moment:

- La Cataline (awesome jumps and awesome flow <3)
- fartownik (his streams are absolutely something incredible for me,I like them a lot :D)
- galvenize (not for Gold Dust, which I never liked that much, but for What I Found)
- Glass (simple but really good mapping style, and the flow is always great)
- LKs (I fell in love with many maps done by him)
- 100pa- (BASARA,that's the only thing you have to know about)
- Card N'FoRcE (I love his mapping style, and his storyboard abilities are one of the best in the entire osu! community)
- SandPig (Nuclear Fusion is really a masterpiece,IMHO)
- happy30 (Awesome mapping style, his maps are really impressive and incredible)
Charles445
Might as well put mine up here.
Expand the boxes!
Yes these are in order :P

1. La Cataline
La Cataline is one of few people who has completely figured out the game. Her maps are all about feeling and gameplay, and boy does she nail both. From ridiculously well flowing jumps to perfectly tuned difficulty curves (within a single difficulty), La Cataline is definitely the most impressive mapper I've ever seen.

Notable Examples:
Chaotic - Best difficulty curve in a map ever. This is in my favorites.
Bangarang - Absolutely insane, but plays absolutely amazingly. Smooth jumps and excellent map feel.
The Legend Of The Black Shawarma - Excellent interpretation of the music that stays strong throughout. Storyboard is subtle and exactly how it should be.
2. gowww
gowww knows exactly what fun is and knows exactly how to put it in a beatmap. At first glance gowww's maps look rather unpolished: things are oddly overlapping other things, sliders don't seem shaped properly, etc. When actually PLAYING the maps though, it becomes clear how polished it all is. Everything is placed to provide the best gameplay possible, no matter what it looks like.

Notable Examples:
Time files - I haven't had this much fun in a long time. gowww provides a real challenge to the player, not by making the map hard to read, but by making the challenge all in the execution. gowww keeps it intuitive by informing the player of a rhythm change before it actually happens (something I wish more people would do.) Don't believe the rating, play this map. This is in my favorites.
Just Awake - Great flow, great rhythm, great everything. Superb all around. This is in my favorites.
3. Nakagawa-Kanon
Excellent gameplay in a beautiful package. Every single time. Flow is excellent, streams are intuitive, jumps are reasonable. Can't ask for more than that.

Notable Examples:
NNRT - Excellent streams with excellent difficulty. Just how it should be.
bloomin' feeling - Took a strange beat and created something intuitive and fitting out of it. This is in my favorites.
4. grumd
grumd is learning very quickly. He has created some of the most genuinely fun maps I've played in a long time, and has an excellent sense of rhythm.

Notable Examples:

Mastication Numerique - Excellent map feel, excellent readability, EXCELLENT hitsounds... yeah. This is a good map.
destruct - "Hey Charles check this map out I just uploaded." Ok sure HOLY SHIT THIS IS AWESOME. THE FLOW, THE SPEED, THE WOW
5. Shiirn
If you're reading this you probably already know why Shiirn is on here. Shiirn knows how to map pretty much anything. Got a confusing beat? Shiirn can do it. Want some DnB? Shiirn will do it REALLY WELL.

Notable Examples:
Solar - This map is what made people realize how amazing Shiirn is at mapping. This got Best of 2011 for a reason.
Pulse - This map reminded people how amazing Shiirn is at mapping. This is also Best of 2011 for a reason.
Kuria
happy30 and MoonFragrance
and gowww too.

Pretty much this. He's also one of a few mappers who do actually map breakcore.

1. DoKoLP (wub you)
2. Zapy
3. La Cataline

My top 3 favorite mappers in osu! :3

All 3 have distinct styles, which I love.
DoKo with his curving streams and sliders, Zapy with his perfectly symmetric maps and epic design/song choice, and La Cataline with the trademark slider layouts and awesome music selection. Love these mappers to death! I play their works of art every day, ranked/approved or not, just because of how enjoyable and fun they are. If any of them would like supporter, I would be honored to provide the hookups. Mappers like you all are what make the game enjoyable to me :)

Also a big personal thank you to ALL of the mappers out there, well known or barely recognized, for providing everyone with maps to play. Without you, there is no game <3

top 3 is solid for me, not to sure about 4 and 5. I'm really tempted to put la cataline higher and I probably should, but rolled maps have just got such amazing flow... it's a struggle for me xD

Mh...

Glass - very enjoyable flow, no awkward angles, patterning feels very intuitive and features and supports the mapped songs very well
Natteke - aditive hitsounding and mapping, supporting and carrying songs to more than they even got originally without making stuff feel any awkward or pushy; also, neat jumps and jumppatterns and a good mapper overall in points of supporting, following and carrying atmosphere of a song
La Cataline - you could say, add Glass to Natteke and make it be female and you get this; La Cataline is probably one of the most cherished mappers on here and there are reasons for it, though I do not always enjoy her choice of songs
happy30 - that is somewhat hard to discribe, it's the vibe of the maps, especially the Demetori ones, that makes his mapping so memorizable and recognizable, you will notice a happy30 in a map, no matter if it's announced or not, you will notice it by the thing you can't discribe but you know it's him mapping that part or diff
James - probably one of the most important people in osu! history, along with Rolled; very good and enjoyable maps, intuitive ideas and well thought-out overall mapping, better than likely anything you will find among common mapping and that though his maps are mostly old as the poot itself
Shinxyn - good old Shinxyn-2010 stylish jumping, my favourites there are Messiah and Fire
S i R i R u - fitting SBs and suiting the songs quite well, also neat to play without needing a challenge there because of the fitting overall impression which can partly get really adictive; also, the selfmade skins are just neat for someone like me who wants a map to suit the song with every bit in it
tsuka(-maete) - inventive as shit, especially the old maps; always was likely THE mapper to bring something new, unexpected and though fitting and featuring to the song mapped

nold_1702 - nold's a weirdo. he really is. his attitude partly is total shit, he himself is likely one of the most what-the-fuck people I've ever known, including me, but he still gets to creating enjoyable stuff, though it mostly is overdone as fuck, it still feels somewhat fitting and I can't really bring this one to a point
