I've been looking for how to improve at Osu in the internet.

One of the topics that i got interested in, is that pressing the keyboard buttons with the strenght of a crazy mad man will help to keep the rhythm.

Is that true?

And by the time you are good, your keyboard is already broken.

On a serious note, doing that might reduce your tapping speed. I don't think it will help, but I might be wrong here.

Depends on your mindset.

It might help you play above your ability in the short-term

I can SS the singletaps in DADADADADADA if I smash my finger really hard

Yes, it's true.

Depends. If your having a hard time following the rhythm then by all means, give it a shot!

I'd say that it helps when done correctly.

For instance, just smashing the keyboard isn't going to do shit, but when you're putting more force into the notes to get rhythms correct, you're putting more emphasis on your mind to practice rhythmically, which makes u the winner

It's a strategy I use while I'm learning piano, especially when putting together music with both hands. It's useful but shouldn't be relied on, it should only be used as a learning tool

If you're not in pain, you're not smashing hard enough.
