Does my universal offset affect the offset on beatmaps I make? I've been toying with it a lot lately because it always feels off. Also does my timing difference affect how my beatmaps works on windows?

I have this problem with my tablet and Osu gameplay. I usually play Osu with my tablet with a smaller screen resolution area, so I can move faster and use only the corner to play. Whenever I play, I have to avoid the edge of the screen because every time I touch or get near it, my mouse would suddenly move towards the middle immediately. Is there anyway to fix this?

I have a problem where when I am searching through songs on solo and then the screen just freezes and then I am forced to force quit the application and restart it. This has been happening frequently now and I'm curious if anybody else is having this problem or knows how to fix it.
I'm pretty sure that's just the client and the tablet connected at the same time. I've experimented with fullscreen and windowed and it's not an issue that can't be fixed. ~ I have the same problem but it doesn't bother me unless you love rabbit jumping...TheMonkeyKing wrote:

i'm using the latest build, the april 21st one. whenever I click anywhere the cursor does very odd things. i uploaded a youtube video demonstrating this.
it causes me to struggle to do basic tasks, such as play a map or even hit the "exit" button.
edit: it appears that using the "raw input" option fixes this.

my cursor starts lagging as soon as i use my wacom intous, but when i use my trackpad its smooth again :/

Okay, just downloaded new version (April 2016) for Mac OSx and now I don't even get an error screen! I downloaded XQuartz as per instructed on the build release, and then downloaded Osu! only to find when I open it, I get a patching screen, a DDE failure message (not sure what that means) and then...nothing. I closed, reopened, redownloaded this build several times. Nothing. Not sure what's wrong. Really wish Osu! would work, been out of it for about 3 months now

I tried updating Wine and installed the newest version of the program through Winery (as suggested in an old bug error post), so I'm using WS9Wine1.2.9 right now; it still won't open. I'm at a loss because it was working completely fine up until 2 weeks ago, I didn't download anything new so I'm really confused about why my app won't work... Any help is appreciated!

I have this same issue, this is actually a friend of the owner of this account and I'm trying to set up osu! for him but no matter what I put the offset at there always seems to be this issue. I am currently downloading the acclaimed mac version of osu! (I didn't check to see if scam or not).Pawsu wrote:

My osu! tab is really glitchy! i just bought it and when i go over x1.8 sensitivity it makes me have two cursers on the opposite of the screen spassing out. and i have no clue how to fix it + it wont let me enable the tab' support. please msg me if u know any fix to it! 
I am being quite serious on this one, around last night my laptop started freezing a lot more frequently in between some of the maps. I can't complete one single map without missing a silder or it stops completely. I used to have glitches/freezing problems every once and a while but now its more frequently. And around yesterday afternoon bancho disconnected even though my internet connection worked perfectly fine. I use a mac Ox and i was wondering if there is any other way I can fix this problem.
I also happen to keep the tiny screen of osu, and chrome open while I play maps in osu!

so i got the mac bersion and im trying to go on fallback but when i update and it tells me to restart i do but it says unable to find a version of the runtime to run this application pls help

HEEEEELP!!! I used to have a mac version of osu! that worked absolutely fine and there were no bugs at all (my computer runs el capitan on a mid 2009 mac book pro) but I thought that it was an old bugged out version since I couldn't install skins (the internal osu! alias folder link was broken apparently). so I decided to download the latest version... GREAT MISTAKE. No other versions I downloaded seem to work (they either don't open or do that weird thing where if you change resolution the whole screen goes black). PLEASE someone help me find that version, it was so great while it lasted!
Every time I try to insert a skin/beatmap into my Osu! game it give an error. And just closes my Osu after that message. The error is saying "osu! has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the (blank)" and "If you were in the middle of something, the information you were working on might be lost." All this happened after i re-installed Osu! Before i did that i had never ever gotten the error. Both times i had the "Stable Release (2015-10-17)" installed with the newest version in the Osu! update thing. 
Delete the game from your "Applications" tab in "Finder" and download a new one. This is the only way as the game couldn't find anything to load. Your data will not be restored, except for the beatmap rankings and everything in your profile.cub656 wrote:

Known issues.
- When using fullscreen and switching window (by clicking a link in chat for example) you get stuck on a black screen

Aight.. Here's the list of things I noticed my osu does after i upgraded to El Capitan. Idc if it's already confirmed just wanna make sure i listed everything I found.
It's unbearable sometimes, especially the cursor disappearing problem.. Hope this gets fixed soon.
- Mouse button is gone in the editor after clicking pretty much anything...
- Random crashes, not sure what causes this, I was just looking for maps and sometimes it freezes.
- Lower res is bugged with black border as if the resolution is still full screen but the game itself is somewhat downscaled to the chosen res.
- Can't drag songs into editor
- Dock Icon is still XQuartz
- Changing resolution into 1280x800 (or just your mac's native resolution i'm guessing) can crash client.
- in game, sometimes osu cursor and mac cursor overlaps with each other.
- Going into the playing field after clicking the map freezes my mac for about 1.5 seconds and stopped the song from playing instead of fading it out like it used to do.
It's unbearable sometimes, especially the cursor disappearing problem.. Hope this gets fixed soon.
Hi, I installed El Capitan and had to install the new Osu version. Everything went fine until after I was done playing and closed the game, but the icon is still on my dock. I've tried force quitting it to no avail. I opened the game and a I got a second icon stuck on my dock. I'm unable to close them, not even Terminal works. Shutting down my MacBook was the only way to get rid of them.
I don't want this to happen every time I play the game, how do I get rid of it?

You could also enable Compatibility Mode, through a recovery dialog, which pops up if you hold Shift while launching osu!.
ok i'm sorry, but this freezes a lot everytime i scroll for some songs..... it's almost unplayable.
if you dont want to delete your beatmaps, open the osu! application source by clicking the app with mouse2 (whichever input you have for it)and selecting "show package source." you can take out the songs folder to get a copy. make sure you drag out the folder and not a shortcut. then reinstall the game and put the songs folder back.PreludeOfGlory wrote:

i can not find the folder "submission cache" or the installation folder. You do not know where is?
It's inside a hidden folder named "Data". Make sure to enable the respective option through your OS's settings to be able to see hidden items.IAMJTW wrote:

Im now inside of the folder, but i found only "bt", "r" and "a"
Is there any other way I can trespass osu! freezing? I can't complete one single map without it glitching, the freezes happen in-game and they usually last about 2 to 3 seconds. And sometimes the freezes make me fail, but around last night it was working perfectly fine until some dude shut off the wifi and messed with things to fix it now it's starting to freeze again, anyway I can stop this?
Mac Team, still waiting on a fix! I'm sorry for being so pestering but I really want to play Osu! it's literally my favourite game to play...none of the builds work for me and XQuartz just opens Osu!, it updates, and then disappears never to be seen again. When I restart XQuartz, it does the same thing..."updating" and then poof. Gone. Please send me an email or a message or anything, I just want to play Osu! again
