It feels great now! With the large jumps the previous approach rate just felt generally bad imo. It feels much more in line now. Thanks!

Hi, from my modding queue~ If you have any questions you can ask me in game.

[General]

  1. The bitrate for .mp3 is 229 kb/s, which is above the maximum of 192 kb/s. Generally this is an unrankable issue so you must convert it somehow.
[Easy]

  1. 00:47:026 (1,2) - 01:11:330 (1,2) - 01:23:862 (3,4) .
  2. 00:12:849 (2,1,2,3,4,1) - Why did you use 1.0 DS on this part? You should keep a constant DS in Easy so I strongly recommend you to use 1.1 DS here.
  3. 00:15:887 (4,1) - Try blanket this, like what you did here 00:12:849 (2,1) .
  4. 00:17:406 (2,3) - 00:18:925 (4,1) - I won't spam any more, hope you get what I'm trying to get across. Blanket in a nice place and time will make your map much more appealing.
  5. Try to mainly stick on white/red ticks when you're mapping Easy/Normal. Also sometimes it's easier to stick on instruments than vocals, like this part for example 00:50:444 (1,2,3,4) . You can just simply put that reverse on the white tick here 00:51:203 to match the drums. You will notice that drums will land on most white ticks, drum is the one of the most easiest instruments to follow for beginners so make sure you keep on track with that. (If you can't here the drum, try listen to the song with 25% speed, that will help a lot)
  6. 01:23:862 (3) - Try avoid putting objects near the life bar please.
  7. Downbeats should be clickable so it'll become easier to follow the rhythm.
[Normal]

  1. Please make your spacing consistent with DS. The spacing in this diff are pretty messed up, try to recheck and fix them all. After you fixed all that you can call me for a remod.
Sorry for modding just Easy, cuz I feel like my modding quality has been sub-par lately so I'm not confident with things I pointed out. Good luck~

01:18:827 (1,2) - I'd check your sliders, when they are placed like this http://puu.sh/mNHvQ/802893c6ea.jpg they end up looking kinda sloppy. If you use rotate or flip you can just make perfect mirrors that look nice pretty easily, slider blankets are another way to make sliders look neat especially in lower difficulties. Also try not to switch from mapping vocals to instruments too abruptly.

General: Don't replace soft-hitnormal with a custom because personally, I don't think it sounds any good to do that lol. People rarely rarely replace soft-hitnormals (the only exception I see is within DnB tbh). This song doesn't need a soft-hitnormal replacement. Just let it be how it is -w-
Why change BG for this diff? I don't think this BG fits well with this song. The other BG is a little better I suppose but even then I don't think it's all that great. But definitely not the one for this diff ><

00:09:413 - Another drum clickable beat. I'd probably use kick sliders instead of flat doubles and place the loose-end circles (the ones on blue ticks) on top of the sliders so it's not awkward.

00:10:173 - There's also this beat that's very strong that should also be clickable (make like a double with the slider).

00:10:647 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5) - These stream jumps are completely unnecessary because nowhere in the song does it accentuate these two notes 00:11:217 (1,1) - and if what you're trying to do is make a sort of buildup, just start off with low DS and slowly increase or use an equal DS because it's more comfortable for the player. But definitely not stream jumping especially this large..

00:14:635 (6,7) - red tick sliders are very uncomfortable to the player/rhythm. (7)'s slider-end shouldn't end on the downbeat of the new measure either because it makes those next beats underwhelming to the song. Also the clap at the end of (6) doesn't sound good to begin with. You could turn (6) into a triple + slider at white tick and remove (7) and that'll fit the rhythm okay. Then you can have a clickable circle/slider at the downbeat.

I know for this one you're trying to follow the vocal but if you wanted to follow the vocal, make it a triple so the slider can start on the red tick. Personally, I find it very hard to utilize red-tick sliders properly unless the song has a continual shift in regard to rhythm where you can use the red tick and place the weak white tick on the slider-end but music like that rarely comes up. It's just almost always better to start the sliders on white ticks. And following vocals > drums or other instruments is pretty weak unless the instruments are completely drowned out.

00:55:458 (4) - I'm pretty sure there's a stream thingy going on within these beats.

00:56:027 (1) - See like this NEEDS to have a clickable downbeat.

01:01:154 (2) - This should be on the former blue tick. Otherwise, it's snapped to nothing in the music.

01:01:628 - Beat here should be part of the stream. Long streams starting on red ticks is awkward tbh.

01:23:559 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3) - This whole measure is asking for streams man. Triples+kicks and ending with a long stream is what I'd do to increase intensity for the climaxing end of the song.

01:25:837 - I wouldn't end the song just yet. I know you're trying to create an effect by ending on the vocals but the last strong beats start on this beat and end on the next measure and then finishing the song there would create a better effect than ending on the vocals that don't complete the measure. It's awkward to end on half a stride, just finish the rest of the stride (in this case the new measure) and you're good to go.

I didn't really go much about patterning (99% of this mod was in regards to rhythm) because rhythm I feel is the most important thing to grasp when making a beatmap (because this is a rhythm game). To offer suggestions for the actual mapping wouldn't be so helpful when the rhythm itself needs to be fixed. And to fix this would mean to replace some sliders/circle stuff without even having me to mention some stuff really.

I know for this one you're trying to follow the vocal but if you wanted to follow the vocal, make it a triple so the slider can start on the red tick. Personally, I find it very hard to utilize red-tick sliders properly unless the song has a continual shift in regard to rhythm where you can use the red tick and place the weak white tick on the slider-end but music like that rarely comes up. It's just almost always better to start the sliders on white ticks. And following vocals > drums or other instruments is pretty weak unless the instruments are completely drowned out. Fixed.

00:55:458 (4) - I'm pretty sure there's a stream thingy going on within these beats. Fixed.

00:56:027 (1) - See like this NEEDS to have a clickable downbeat. Fixed.

01:23:559 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3) - This whole measure is asking for streams man. Triples+kicks and ending with a long stream is what I'd do to increase intensity for the climaxing end of the song. Fixed?

01:25:837 - I wouldn't end the song just yet. I know you're trying to create an effect by ending on the vocals but the last strong beats start on this beat and end on the next measure and then finishing the song there would create a better effect than ending on the vocals that don't complete the measure. It's awkward to end on half a stride, just finish the rest of the stride (in this case the new measure) and you're good to go. Fixed.

I didn't really go much about patterning (99% of this mod was in regards to rhythm) because rhythm I feel is the most important thing to grasp when making a beatmap (because this is a rhythm game). To offer suggestions for the actual mapping wouldn't be so helpful when the rhythm itself needs to be fixed. And to fix this would mean to replace some sliders/circle stuff without even having me to mention some stuff really.
