Apologies about the wait between updates! This weekend's been a little bit busier than normal. Up to 150 users, meaning 22 of you will not make it past the qualifying stages!

Hey guys, I will be making another update tomorrow after work (~21:00 UTC / 4 PM EDT). Entries into the tournament are slowing up a bit.

Updated! A new poll has been put on the OP. As of now, 35 of you will not be making the cut.
Btw one request for the livestream: as far as i know the commentators are using teamspeak, could turn on overwolf during the stream so we can see who is talking atm? It gets really confusing sometimes as someone who doesnt see the whole stream from beginning to end...

When I mean customised skins I mean, I use a DDR like skin when playing. Does it have to be similar to the default/IIDX?

Because of the recent stability increase compared to before, it is likely that we will use Discord. The initial idea was to use Teamspeak, but Discord is far more convenient and stable. Commentators will be introduced at the start of each round, but differentiation will be up to the players and viewers. An overlay for who is talking doesn't fit for me, personally. I will be doing a poll with my team and will set up multiple channels to ensure that everyone is segmented in the locations they belong in - there will at a minimum be at least three channels, one for general tournament discussion, another for referees, and another for commentators. However, I have a TeamSpeak server also set up and at the ready if necessary. You can never be complacent in a single method.chris20194 wrote:

The skin that you use absolutely does not matter; play with whatever is the best for you. The skin that will be shown in the tournament client on the livestream will be different than the one that you play with.BlankPxl wrote:

Isn't that the point of the poll? He doesn't know if everyone uses their own skin, if they have their own custom hitsounds, or if they have them on and don't care about what they sound like, or if they want keysounded maps, or maps w/ custom hitsounds, or if people turn them off completely etc.LightDreamer wrote:

Still can't get it..... It's a personnal preference that will be changed from a player to another. How does this concern tournament staff or something like this? It's like asking about our scroll speed. It's up to however plays to set his game how he likes it. If the map is keysound, the player wil (I hope) notice it during practice and keep beatmap custom sounds on. I hope we will have time for practice. If he drops the mappool the day before the qualifications, it's stupid. Anybody that has logic will practice and notice if there are keysounds or not.
