Osu! United States Cup | Canceled!

Welcome! to the osu! USA Cup!



I am sorry to say that this tournament has been cancelled, due to numerous issues

The Concept of this tournament is that it's gonna run similarly to the OWC, and use the same ruleset as it, HOWEVER! instead of representing countries, each team will represent their home State, so there will be one team for each of the 50 states, or less, depending on how many people are from each state.

Teams will be made up like the OWC, everyone signs themselves up (recommended Rank 5000 and under), and once registrations are up, a captain will be selected, and they get to form their teams out of the pool of players from their home-state

Once all the teams have been made, The Brackets will be released, showing who will be facing who, it will be up to the captains to make sure their team is on time, and properly trained.

Monday Each week, i will release the mappool for that week's round, you have until Saturday or Sunday to practice those specific maps.

Brackets will be Double-Elimination Style, With the Winner's Bracket matches on Each Saturday, and Loser's Bracket matches on each Sunday. (First Week Exempt)

I will ask each captain what time is fine with them for their team on their alloted date, if there is no response by Wednesday, then i will just use a free time-slot. Times will be posted on that Wednesday, if the time is not good for you LET ME KNOW, and i will try what i can to get a working time!

Note: If you are the captain, and you need to leave, (Family Emergency, Vacation, etc.) Let me know, as well as one of your teams' players to be Left as Temporary-Captain in your absence, once you return, you will resume normal duty as Captain yourself. IF YOU DO NOT NOTIFY ME IN THIS SITUATION! I will not know of your absence, and it would leave me to belive that your team is a no-show, which counts as an instant-loss for that round!

Mappools with mods can only be used once per-team, per-round, and freemod must have at least one player per-team use a mod, NO DOUBLETIME IN FREEMOD!

Prizes have yet to be determined, but rest assured, there may very well be some.

I'm with WinRAWR, that's not fair, however, because i'm a nice guy, i'll break you a deal, if you can get your flag changed back to the US flag, before registration is up, (Because you need proof of residency to do so), i'll consider letting you in

Im still a US born citizen but ok, Nevermind then, I dont plan on ever changing my flag back.

I feel like smaller states also won't have too many players so 4v4 with 8 players seems like a stretch. I'd consider making them smaller.
