I am also against it. People get influenced a lot by how they perceive the opinions of others. This can go so far, that they will decide what to think about a comment based on how it is rated, not based on what it says.
Since I do not trust in the majorities power to resist these forces, I think a voting system would be a step in the completely wrong direction. I wouldn't want arbitrary down- or upvote chain-reactions that were set off by someone who didn't know what he was talking about, and kept alive by people that followed equally unreflective.

Well, I believe the point behind a forum is to provide a place where you can speak your opinion, and be influenced by the opinion of others.
A voting system on posts causes there to be one prevalent opinion that gets upvoted meanwhile every other opinion gets downvoted to oblivion and nobody else sees it.
So then it just devolves into a cycle of people trying to perpetuate the popular opinion hoping to get more upvotes, and people don't want to disagree because nobody will care, and they'll get downvoted.

Low elos should learn to stop back talking High Elos. If someone from low elo has an opinion that differs from a High Elo's, the Low Elos should NOT try to reason with the high elo. He shouldn't ask why either. He should take what the high elo says as fact without talking back. Too many times, I've seen a low elo backtalk a high elo, and it's disgusting, because the low elo is wrong most of the time. Id be more inclined to listen to the low ranking person with 1000 hours playtime, who plays all the chars rather than maining one over someone with 100 hours, and high rank but only plays one or two chars.

Wrong, ik a shit ton of diamonds, play champs whatever are viable/fun, unlike in lower elos, anything is possible with the lack of knowledge of your enemy teammates not knowing how to counter, or learn your moves, pridict, observe and have good decision making, which means your able to do good with any fucking champ, unlike higher elos people actucally know how to deal with each and every champs with better decision making, and actucally knows the math in game, explain why diamonds can shit on lower elos effortlessly trying out champs for the first time?Granger wrote:
