And yes, I have .NET Framework.

I also tried redownloading but it still gives me an error. Any help please?

What does the error say?

The error message is in Portuguese but I'll translate it into English.

It says "It is not possible to open this installation package. Contact the supplier of the application to verify if it is a valid Windows Installer package."

...or something like that.

That sounds like one of those stupid windows message like "do you really want to install this, it might be a virus?"

If there is a ignore or install anyways button press it. Screenshot might also be useful if you can provide.

No. There is just an OK button.
Also, do you really want a screenshot? It's not in English.

Hi!

Windows XP or Vista?

Disabling UAC will cause some installers to fail unpredictably. Re-enable it and use "Run as Administrator" and see if that helps.

I use Windows XP Service Pack 3.

Mmm.. you can try re-installing Window Installer and Netframework 2.0 if you didnt.

As he said, this is BLATANTLY not to do with UAC, but with the package or the installer...

Try updating or reinstalling windows installer and redownloading the osu! installer one more time.

To manually install osu!:
  • 1. Create a new folder.
    2. Download osume.exe and put it in the folder.
    3. Run it (as an administrator).
