Hello from my modding queue!

First off I would like to say that the map is good and the song is awesome. So let's begin!

• 00:04:813 - Try decreasing the sound for the slider end because there is no music tick here so it doesn't fit the song at all

• 00:05:498 - Lower the sound because the song at the start is really low, so the loud hitsounds are kinda ruining it.

• 00:05:498 (1,2,3,4) - I don't really know why you even put these here? It doesn't fit the music in the background at all so I highly recommend you to delete these and make a pattern that fits the music.

• 00:10:984 (1,2,3,4) - ^

• 00:16:470 (1,2,3,4) - ^

• 00:21:956 (1,2,3,4) - ^

• 00:27:441 (1) - Add a finish instead of a whistle

• From 00:28:470 up to 00:46:641, the sliders and the patterns do not fit the music at all. You should really try to follow the music in the background. Because all you did in this time is just put 1/4 sliders constantly. This part requires a LOT of changing.

• 00:49:384 - Kiai up untill 01:31:899

• 00:57:099 (4) - CTRL + H maybe?

• 01:00:356 (1) - Remove the long slider and make either a 1/4 reverse slider or a 1/4 slider following up with a note. Because there is music note on the red tick at 01:00:527.

• 01:16:813 (1) - ^

• 01:22:299 (1) - ^

• 01:27:784 (1) - ^

• 01:30:527 (1) - ^

• 01:28:299 (2) - Place the note under the slider in a proper way, because right now it looks weird.

• 01:33:270 - Kiai up until 02:17:156

• 01:37:384 (1,2) - This overlap is kinda disgusting. Try changing a bit up here.

• 01:45:784 (6) - NC here

• 01:52:984 (1) - Remove NC

• 01:52:984 (1,2,3,1) - The overlaps in this pattern is kinda bad. Try changing it a bit.

• 02:02:241 (3,4) - Bad overlap

• 02:12:699 (5) - NC here? (Although I might be wrong)

• These sliders: 02:41:841 (1) + 02:52:813 (1) + 02:58:299 (1) needs to be like the reverse slider at 02:47:327 (1) because there is a sound tick at the half of the sliders.

• 03:08:584 (1) - Remove NC

• 03:11:156 (1) - Remove NC

• 03:14:070 (1) - Make it a normal slider instead of a reverse slider and remove NC

• 03:19:556 (1) - Remove NC and start one at 03:20:241 (3)

• 03:25:041 (1) - Remove NC and start one at 03:25:727 (3)

• 03:31:213 (5) - NC here

• 03:42:184 (1) - Remove the spinner, and add a note at the where it started, and a note at where it ended.

• 03:44:927- Kiai here up until 04:05:499

They are comparable to these sliders from handsome's Camellia - flying in the flow of deep-sea. The small bumps in the sliders are mapped to the music. For consistency, I will either turn them all into reverse sliders like you suggested, or change the current reverse slider into a normal one.

• 03:42:184 (1) - Remove the spinner, and add a note at the where it started, and a note at where it ended. Playing a note at 03:42:184 felt a bit weird, so I kept the spinners as they are.

• 04:27:441 - Kiai here up untill 05:12:699 Added kiai at 04:28:813 instead - I think it fits better

• 05:07:213 (1,2,3,4) - These sliders do not fit the song and ruins the flow of the map. So just replace them with what you have been doing. I'll think about these

  1. Because this is a marathon, I think the HP is a little too high, lower it to HP6 or 6.5 maximum.
  2. I reccommend you remap or add more to the intro [ 00:05:498 (1,2,3,4,1,2,1,2,3,4,1,2,1,2,3,4,1,2,1,2,3,4,1,2) - ], it seems bland as you can obviously hear the melody inbetween those notes.
  3. Imo the stack leniency should be 5 or 6.
  4. (from 03:01:041 (1) - to 03:42:184 (1) - )I don't see why this section has different velocities? Please stick with one. Also about velocity, this section might be a bit too fast considering this is the chill part of the song. stick with 0.8x the whole way through?

Remapped the whole intro up to the second spinner, fixed up a few small things here and there

Hey Polygon, (Color meanings found on my queue homepage)

Overall, a good beatmap with many interesting parts. A few general things:
- More quarter-note patterns! You use one every 30 seconds, and I don't think that is enough.
- At around 1:55 for 10-20s, I don't hear any hitsounds. Maybe I'm deaf, idk.
- Switch up your hitsounds! All I hear is finish, and a few claps wouldn't be bad, to give some extra beat.
- From 2:18 to 3:01, it is very, very boring. Try to add some additional beats so the player has some level of difficulty.

Specifics:
02:41:841 (1,1,1,1) - These sliders are very irregular. I would shoot for a certain outline.

Please leave kudosu so I can build up my supply! I would award 1-2 stars, but I have no kudosu!

Yeah That's a lot of mistakes .-. I would suggest using increased distance snap instead of using alt by going to the slider in top right pressing alt and dragging it to about 1.6 and decreasing it in the parts you want to be easier


^ Because of that I won't give a complete mod but don't get me wrong I will give you some pointers


01:42:013 (2,3,4,5,6) - So much Potential wasted here! With 5 Circles you could make a variety of shapes instead of what you did! Try a pentagon or a star!


02:26:413 (2,3,1) - Same Here! I would use the end of 2 To make a triangle with 3 and 1!


03:29:499 (3,4) - These Sliders are really weird! The ending point has more of a bang then the beginning! It would be wise to make it so you can click where the end is!


That about covers everything! Apply what I said above to all of the map and you have yourself a much better map!

Disclaimer: I'm pretty new to modding so what I say may not be useful! If this is the case feel free to ignore this mod, although feedback would be much appreciated! All mods are my opinion

You need to use an 192kbps MP3, you could use Audacity to encode it down relatively easily, PM me if you need help on this

Honestly overall I think this is too consistent, the jumps can be made a lot more interesting and fun and there some extremely box like flows in this map, not that it's necessarily a bad thing I just think that sometimes it can be switched out for something 'better' I've made some suggestions that could make this map more interesting to play at certain parts so you hopefully get an idea of what I mean by this

00:18:527 (4) - If you wanted to you could rotate this slider by -10 degrees (Ctrl + Shift + R) for a nicer flow, this is a super minor change I think it just looks cleaner ^^

00:47:670 - Don't you think there should be something clickable here? Super audible piano here

00:54:870 (1,2,3,4,5) - Maybe try something like this? This is part of an explanation to what I said at the start of this mod


00:57:613 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - Again, maybe something like this instead?


I've made these suggestions as they change up the flow relatively dramatically and give emphasis on more things in the music, for example in my section suggestion the double stacked notes at 00:58:127 (3,4) - follow the lead of the song whilst 00:58:471 (5,6,7) - are more spaced out and give more emphasis on the drums and piano part of the song, things like this can really improve a beatmaps quality and as it stands your map is by no means bad, but it can be improved. If you do decide to use these suggestions please feel free to continue to make similar ones aswell, as long as they're in places that they make sense, a potential spot is 01:03:099 (1,2,3,4,5) - here since theres a slight change in the music. If you want more examples a great map to look at is the Divine difficulty on Cold Green Eyes, the map has interesting jump patterns that emphasis the music great :D

01:15:099 (4) - Ctrl + J? You inverted the previous two sliders so why not invert this one as well to keep aesthetic consistency

01:16:813 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - I really like this idea, why not repeat it in the next bar as well but change up the spacing or jump pattern, this comes down to my emphasis point again ^^

01:35:327 (8,1) - Blanket can be improved

02:13:041 (2,3,4,5) - This is an example of what I mean by a boxed and this is a relatively forced flow, I would rearrange the timing of the notes so it looks something similar to this

If you decide to use this suggestion, I also heavily reccomending using Ctrl + G on 02:13:727 (1) - and 02:14:070 (2) - for a better flow following the cross pattern suggested above

02:47:327 (1) - Any reason why this slider uses the drum sampleset and the other 3 in this section don't? :P I would change it to auto sampleset to keep consistency in this section

05:16:470 (2) - I would make this two seperate clickable notes, especially since the slider ends on a downbeat, this could potentially be a stack or a large jump, up to you ^^

05:19:213 (2) - ^

05:24:699 (2) - ^ This goes for all similar sliders in this section

I've made these suggestions as they change up the flow relatively dramatically and give emphasis on more things in the music, for example in my section suggestion the double stacked notes at 00:58:127 (3,4) - follow the lead of the song whilst 00:58:471 (5,6,7) - are more spaced out and give more emphasis on the drums and piano part of the song, things like this can really improve a beatmaps quality and as it stands your map is by no means bad, but it can be improved. If you do decide to use these suggestions please feel free to continue to make similar ones aswell, as long as they're in places that they make sense, a potential spot is 01:03:099 (1,2,3,4,5) Here too! - here since theres a slight change in the music. If you want more examples a great map to look at is the Divine difficulty on Cold Green Eyes, the map has interesting jump patterns that emphasis the music great :D

01:15:099 (4) - Ctrl + J? You inverted the previous two sliders so why not invert this one as well to keep aesthetic consistency Yes

01:16:813 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - I really like this idea, why not repeat it in the next bar as well but change up the spacing or jump pattern, this comes down to my emphasis point again ^^ Did something neat here

01:35:327 (8,1) - Blanket can be improved True

02:13:041 (2,3,4,5) - This is an example of what I mean by a boxed and this is a relatively forced flow, I would rearrange the timing of the notes so it looks something similar to this Good point

If you decide to use this suggestion, I also heavily reccomending using Ctrl + G on 02:13:727 (1) - and 02:14:070 (2) good idea! - for a better flow following the cross pattern suggested above

02:47:327 (1) - Any reason why this slider uses the drum sampleset and the other 3 in this section don't? :P I would change it to auto sampleset to keep consistency in this section Oops

05:16:470 (2) - I would make this two seperate clickable notes, especially since the slider ends on a downbeat, this could potentially be a stack or a large jump, up to you ^^ I changed some of the sliders into stacks. Tbh it would feel pretty boring just hitting a bunch of circles without any sliders here.

05:24:699 (2) - ^ This goes for all similar sliders in this section ^

Hi, sorry for taking so outrageously long to get to this. Approval maps always make me feel a bit lazy when I look at my queue, haha.

Memories
There's not much exciting stuff going on in the song and your map is fairly consistent so overall this plays out relatively well regarding the rhythm component.

Some more general things though:
I feel like you could be more consistent regarding your spacing. Right now it seems to be rather random, it's hard to identify any spots you're trying to emphasize via a bigger spacing.
Also:
Try to be more wary of sliderleniency!
When mapping sliders you want to guide the player's movement but if you disrespect slider leniency the player may move completely different than you expected. To give you an example I will just play the map two times and link you the replays here. I'd recommend watching them with a skin that includes a cursortrail as it is easier to track the playermovement with it(remember that the replays only work if you didn't edit the map yet, so maybe make a copy or smth). Rightclick and Save target as.

Most players are somewhere inbetween these two extremes of treating sliders(I tried my best to reflect both of them) but generally speaking you want to arrange your flow in a way that even the first type follows the majority of sliders because it makes sense to do so.
Right now it looks completely random when you allow the player to not follow the slider and when not. I'd suggest checking out this t/86329 and also the newspost by Shiro linked in the thread.


  1. 00:06:527 (4,1,2,3) - You're disregarding the music here, 00:06:527 (4,1) - is fine, but 00:07:213 (2,3) - is not good. The emphasis is on the red tick for both of these sliders so they should definitely not be sliderends while an empty/less emphasized tick has a sliderstart. Especially for the last slider this stands out
    This occurs throughout the entire intropart so i'd suggest looking into that one!

    etc., not going to list all of them, up to your preview point
  1. 00:38:669 (2) - Remove this circle, you don't use any other triples in the entire part as a stylistic addition and the music doesn't specifically call for it so just remove it.

  1. 01:29:156 (1,2,3,4) - this doesn't fit your overall flowconcept. The player will be thwarted here for no actual reason.
  1. 01:40:470 (3) - replace this slider with a single on the red tick to give 01:40:298 (2) - more room
  1. 02:16:727 (5) - also an added note that I don't really deem necessary as it has no corresponding sound
  1. There is an increasing pitch and volume in this part 03:01:040 - till 03:42:012 -
    Right now this is completely unreflected as you follow the melody straight. Imo you should try to spice this a bit up by either increasing your note density progressively throughout this part or your spacing. Doesn't have to be much but right now start and end of this section play exactly the same even though the intensity is entirely different
