Name change "This username choice is not allowed".

As you people can see, my current name is "ballsund2".
First, I made an account named "ballsund" and forgot the password and had to make a new one.

Today, I'd like to name change to Ballsund, but it contains "balls" and therefor I am not allowed.

ballsund used to be a place in Norway, and today it is called "Kristiansund".
This is a very special gamer tag for me, and wonder if there is any way I could change my IGN to "Ballsund"?

Try substituting one of the l's with an uppercase i?

Also, are you sure the username change isn't allowed because of the word choice, or is it because there's already the account with that name?

That's actually nonsense since ballsund2 were fine, so I don't see why ballsund suddenly don't work. Maybe consider help from the support?

Okay, so you already made an account named "ballsund." I assume it's gone now since it's not a result on the User search. My only guess is that if this account was deleted somehow, maybe the database of names has not registered it as being an available name again. I'm no website assistant or anything, but that's my winged guess at it.

There is no account that currently has that name so you should be able to take it.

Email Accounts@ppy.sh and they will likely be able to assist you.

Thanks for the answers, but to add something up. There is not currently an account named "Ballsund", and my current account is several years old. Probably made before "balls" was filtered in name creation.
