I was thinking there should be emoticons in osu chat and also i think there should be images like in twitch. Would make osu! chat way more active and colorful.

Also, please try to search before creating a request. With only searching "emoticons" in Feature Requests, I found over 4 already existing threads.

Guys Don't you think plain chat is abit boring? like you say you can't use emoji end etc becouse it is silencable there should totatly be a limit to characters and how much can you spam (like in twitch you can't write to fast).
P.S. Sorry i didn't researched for this topic becouse it struck like lightning in my head

but does it makes sense if you are friends with a guy and spam to him (for fun this time) couple of emojis (you can spam text as much as you want) and you get silenced i think banchobot should have to be more polished on these stuffBaraatje123 wrote:

Chances are that some are shit and some okay and most aren't that good are high even though I've been pleased by most of Flyte's creations so far.
If you can't express yourself with textbased smileys - and boy, there are sufficient variations of them - you're doing something wrong 0=)
OT: Bancho is quite lenient on spamming lines. I've got quite the bad line spamming syndrome from spending time in small IRCs and I didn't get silenced even once so far.

Emoticons exist since long time, they're just rarely used. And they are allowed, just don't overuse them. Other things such as twitch emotes won't happen, they belong to their respective place, marked as resolved.
