  3. 01:38:890 - While playing, having this beat skipped (especially before a break) feels very... unfulfilling? It would feel better to the player if it were mapped in my opinion. I can't really explain it better than this. ;w;
  4. 02:08:140 - This is a pretty strong sound on the slider end. Though I'm not sure how to map it. I would do a 1/8 kickslider, or maybe a 1/4 kickslider? I definitely think this should be a clickable note somehow.
  5. 02:13:202 (5,1) - Another aesthetic thing, this placement doesn't really look all too nice. If you blanket these together it would look nicer or if you moved 1 furter up so the end of 5 doesn't hover near the slider border of 1.
  6. 02:31:952 (3,4) - If you swap these two in rhythm it would probably sound better imo. Obviously place them differently, the point is 3 should be a 1/2 slider and 4 should be a circle.

It's all up to you though.
  10. 03:50:421 - Skipping drums here intentionally?
  11. 04:13:202 (2) - Rotating this by 20 degrees would look better imo.

  6. 01:52:390 (1,2,3) - Could you at least avoid the overlap of 01:52:765 (2) - ?
  7. 02:04:390 (1,1,1) - Space these out more I think. That reverse arrow is pretty hidden so make it more visible just in case, and also the SV change on 02:05:140 (1) - isn't given a proper warning in this pattern, so I would recommend doing something about that. Maybe spacing it out further than the other two sliders or reversing direction.
  8. 02:13:390 (1,2,3) - Same points as before.
  9. 02:18:265 (1,1) - This jump is pretty big, just gonna point this out since it's 1/4.
  10. 03:11:140 (4,5,6,7) - This is really linear compared to the rest of the map. I don't really see a reason for this in the song - in fact, the rhythm is weird here too since I'm not sure what sound you're prioritizing.
  11. 03:38:890 (5) - Space this less for the same reason as before - less emphasis for this note to make the BAM BAM BAM more feel-able.
  12. 03:50:890 (1) - I recommend moving this slider so the reverse is completely unobscured.
  13. 04:02:140 (1,2,1,2,1,2) - Why are these jumps on the less powerful part of the song? If anything they should be at 04:06:640 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3). I feel like this is overdone.

Song wasn't bad and I had time, so I modded a bit more.

It's not perfectly executed, though.

00:30:452 (2,3) - Spacing would feel better if this was Ctrl+G. Seems rather small coming out of a constant note pattern
00:31:390 (1) - Idk maybe just me but it stands out so much since this is like the only slider in the map that looks like this.
00:32:515 - Piano sounds are strong. For example you can remove 00:32:702 (4) - and fill in a note where I suggested. It helps the piano and still has the same effect with the vocals
00:56:140 (3,4) - I thought it would flow more with the vocals but it just cuts back so far while playing. This is what I was somewhat expecting http://puu.sh/sSPpJ/40dd98e2db.jpg to match resemblance to 00:55:390 (1,2) -
01:01:296 (3) - From what previous spacing you've done this is actually going to be tricky because people might read it as a regular 1/4 note but it is an extra so who knows. But stacking on 01:01:390 (1) - gives a better visual to upcoming players to hit. Sort of like this idea 01:04:296 (5,1) -
01:26:140 (1,2,3,4) - It's maybe just me but the key-sounding is still really loud compared to the same parts in the song that was keysounded after this. I think changing it down and moving this part 01:29:140 (3,4,5,6) - up or even keeping them the same would sound better
01:40:390 (1,2,3,4) - I don't know if 1/4 slider here is good. It just doesn't fit along with the music imo. It just stands out so much when playing with not much to back it up

02:36:171 (2) - Starting here your keysounding rhythm seems a bit off. The parts that sound off are at 02:37:015 (5) - 02:38:233 (4,5) - 02:39:546 (4) - This can be removed. Its because the keysounds are changing to off-keys that seem a bit on the higher scale. If it was toned down or created easier sounding or have a gradual effect it'll be really good. Since the feedback while playing is quite off
03:49:015 (1,1,1) - Playing this flow wise is rather unpleasant

  6. 00:37:390 (3,4) - ok so there's many blankets slightly off or something similar, I won't mention em all here, I suggest you go through the diff this in mind
  7. 01:05:140 - I would map the strongish sound at this place, leading to the chorus, now it kinda cuts the continuum short here
  8. 01:22:390 (3,4,1) - also lot of places like this, where you could easily reshape the pattern little to form tidy triangle. Check these with the blankets as well
  9. 02:08:140 - same as with last chorus
  10. 04:32:890 (4) - I would map this with 1/1 slider and then circle on the ending sound. Would emphasis the music better imo
  11. there were couple of longer sliders that looked little out-of-place imo since there were only like 2 of em and the shapes differed a lot from casual sliders in the diff (not that they were similar compared to each other either). You could make em look better

  4. 01:44:890 (1,2) - it would look better if they would be slightly closer to each other vertically as if blanketing (don't change the overall spacing)
  5. 01:46:390 (3,4,1) - could triangle these
  6. 02:23:140 (6) - here you have followed the vocals, but left the 4th sound out even tho it's clearly as much important in the music as the 3 (or 5) before it.
  7. 02:24:640 (2,3) - these dont look too good
  8. 03:11:140 (5,1) - blanket off

  1. 00:44:890 (1,2,3) - the flow is little weird here, you are as if going for circular flow from 1 to 2 and then onwards, but break it for the slider 3
  2. 00:46:952 (3,4,5,6,7,1) - patterns like these can flow little weirdly in Hard diff as well
  3. 00:47:515 (6,1) - blanket off
  4. 00:59:327 (4,5) - ok so in the song these play like 2 + 4, here you have mapped 3+3, having the 2nd emphasis on blue tick.
  5. 01:02:140 (1,2,3,1) - here you have first very sharp turn in the flow and then change to larger spacing but low angle flow the the slider. It would play better with another somewhat sharp turn, not necessarily as sharp as the first tho if you don't want
  6. 01:14:890 (1,2) - this could flow better, especially since this is only hard lvl difficulty
  7. 01:52:390 (1,2,3) - little meh flow like the first example I made, but what makes these different is that there the spacing is low, making is more reasonable , and the last slider is straight and not blatantly leading the flow to some direction. Also the way the pattern continues works better here than the first example
  8. 02:02:327 (4,5) - what I said earlier
  9. 02:13:390 (1,2,3,4,5,1) - ok here are 2 places that jump at my eyes shouting for triangle-fix lol
  10. 02:36:452 (2,3) - since these are so close, I suggest you try to keep the visual distance about the same throughout
  11. 03:53:890 (2,3,4,1) - ok wat you could make this visually better

  13. there were also other patterns that were kinda here and there, but since you used them constantly with the music in relevant places, it was kinda okay

  1. 00:20:890 (1,2,3,4) - these are kinda lame to play for the intensity of the music here, since the spacing was already bigger during the earlier section lol
  2. 00:30:452 (2,3,4,1) - this blanket doesn't look too good
  3. 00:44:890 (1,2,3) - this pattern look little hazard visually. It could flow better too, since now 2 is leading towards circular flow from 1, but transition to 3 breaks it. It doesn't play rly that horrible tho, but it could play better too
  4. 03:45:265 (6,1) - doesn't look too good, since the circle is too close the slider compared to the level of the curve on the slider
  5. 03:56:140 (1,2,3) - similar kind of flow thing as what I explained earlier. Why it works okay here tho is because the slider 3 continues the same way flow wise as the 2 directed, unlike last time. Turning flow like after slider 3 works okay also cuz the turning of the flow happens while you are not holding slider or doing something similar
  6. overall there's some visual work to be done the same way the examples I wrote here are. There are also places that aren't rly "blanket off" or smth like that, but more like there's not any good visual aspect there. You could go through to see if you could make smth visually more appealing
Extra
  1. 00:23:140 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - this feels very anticlimatic to play compared to the jumps before this, even tho this is supposed to be the climax of the section.
  2. 00:35:140 (3,1) - even if slider leniency is thing, this is kinda meh to play. Not only doesn't the spacing here indicate the 1/4 between em, it's actually about the same as before with 00:34:390 (1,2) - making player confuse it with 1/2. And just, it could play better lol
  3. 01:14:890 (1,1,1,1) - same what I said earlier. However, since it's continuous here, player excepts it and it works better.
  4. 01:17:327 (6,7,8,9,10,11,1) - the streamshape looks kinda meh. Since it's so short (due the first 3 being somewhat stacked) you could just make it linear
  5. 01:40:390 (1,4) - what are these based on? I don't hear anything too distinct

It's essentially changing the flow direction twice instead of once with sharper angle used with the kickslider.
  13. 03:48:640 (1,1,1) - ok while it is still multiple ones here, and there has been similar patterns earlier, so player excepts it, this just plays badly. The slider, instead of remotely leading to correct directions, are haphazardly going to random direction compared to the next sliders and how they continue the flow. The transition from the first to 2nd is okay, but then the 2nd breaks the flow while holding the slider, then does it again before releasing, but still not leading completely to the 3rd one. And when you get to the 3rd one, the turning while holding the slider is again somewhat sharp, while not so much as before. But then it has sharp turn. Same kind of stuff continues till the pattern ends. Slider leniency and the fact you don't rly need to follow the sliderbody perfectly will help here, but this could still use some love imo

02:36:171 (2) - Starting here your keysounding rhythm seems a bit off. The parts that sound off are at 02:37:015 (5) - 02:38:233 (4,5) - 02:39:546 (4) - This can be removed. Its because the keysounds are changing to off-keys that seem a bit on the higher scale. If it was toned down or created easier sounding or have a gradual effect it'll be really good. Since the feedback while playing is quite off It doesn't sound that off to me. Feedback wise, I think I'm getting testplays and opinions before removing keysounds. It was removed previously, but sounded weird as it suddenly stopped at one point
03:49:015 (1,1,1) - Playing this flow wise is rather unpleasant Well it is not supposed to flow really well, plus it is the coolest pattern I can come up with (sorry if it is not convincing)

03:53:046 (4,1,3) - It's going to be a pain to fix this overlap, since you have so many stacks based around it, but it should be taken care of.
04:02:140 (1,2,1,2,1,2) - Overdone jumps, especially compared to the more climactic point at 04:06:640 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,1,2,3).

Overall, not bad. Your rhythm was on point (you get my approval for following vocals) and you mostly stuck to your concepts. What the map needs at this point is the nitpicky overlaps, visual distance, and some spacing to be fixed. Something I noticed though was that you switched your pattern structure to a more generic one as the map went on. Earlier you started with trapezoids, then you pretty much exclusively moved to triangle and star patterns. This isn't too big of a problem, and in fact introduces some variety into the map, but I should mention it since that may not be what you wanted. What needs to be fixed is your stream concepts. Even for an Extra, split streams should be hinted towards. Wide angles too, if possible, but not as necessary since players at this level should know how to play them.

Overall, not bad. Your rhythm was on point (you get my approval for following vocals) and you mostly stuck to your concepts. What the map needs at this point is the nitpicky overlaps, visual distance, and some spacing to be fixed. Something I noticed though was that you switched your pattern structure to a more generic one as the map went on. Earlier you started with trapezoids, then you pretty much exclusively moved to triangle and star patterns. This isn't too big of a problem, and in fact introduces some variety into the map, but I should mention it since that may not be what you wanted. What needs to be fixed is your stream concepts. Even for an Extra, split streams should be hinted towards. Wide angles too, if possible, but not as necessary since players at this level should know how to play them. All the overlaps are actually 100% intentional. I am incredibly sensitive to them. Some closer overlaps are at either 1.0x or 0.5x DS. Since I mainly play with stacks, the map may come off rather unpolished and dirty. A reason for using 'trapezoids' earlier is because the vocal supports them. As the song progress trapezoids don't fit anymore and I used triangles to polish patterns. Also, it's not about just whether the player can actually play the map, but rather whether the player's capability can be tested by the map. You can see my map doesn't spam jumps all I like. I introduce fast SV sliders and spaced streams to test player's aim and finger control for this relatively low BPM.

Thanks for the mod! In all honesty, I have tried changing most points you have mentioned, but they didn't work out just as I expect because we view visual aspects really different here (and also limitations). A lot of my objects are placed with intent, but I think if there's one problem with the map it has to be visual response. I really have no idea to get that response there. Deleted = fixed/changed

I would look at your jumps and change the locations of notes, they may play well but they just look random which kinda detracts from them.

Thanks for the mod! A lot of the jumps are not random ie. usage of stacks, spacing from objects that are not in the jumps (lol)

• 03:50:140 (2) - this is highly recommended to be fixed. People will hardly read this well along with a large spacing triples. You should try something else

  1. 01:20:890 (1) - this slider is not a perfect circular arc since it uses 2 anchor points instead of one. As such, it can't properly blanket the note at 01:20:140 (3). I'm assuming it's a mistake since it only happens twice in the entire map
  2. 02:23:890 (1) - same thing here ^
  3. 01:25:577 (2) - unbalanced jump on either side of this note doesn't look as nice since the angle is so wide. Either change the angle or try moving this note so that prev and next are both ~1.4x
  4. 04:07:952 (5,6,1,2) - this is the only jump that follows a triple, and it's a bit of a difficulty spike. Maybe remove 04:08:046 (6) - and space out the jumps, or put in some reversing sliders.
  5. 04:08:140 (1,2,3) - another unbalanced jump

  1. 00:29:890 (1) - 00:32:140 (3) - 00:32:890 (1) - I think these 3 sliders should be 1/2 instead of 1/4, as their tails aren't really mapped to anything. If they are extended to 1/2, at least they sync with the vocalist breathing in. If you keep them as they are, I recommend reducing the volume on the slider tails.
  2. 04:06:640 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3) - too many successive claps in this sequence, it's hard on the ears. I recommend at the very least removing the clap on the tail of 04:06:640 (1)
  3. 04:21:077 (3) - I would remove this slider and just have all of 04:20:890 (1,2,3,1,2,3,4) - be one stream, or replace 04:20:890 (1,2) - with another slider. This sort of pattern is typically used when you can hear a clear 4x4 stream pattern, which isn't really the case right here
  4. 04:33:077 (1,2,3,4,5) - this stream position seems a little unbalanced to me. I know it starts at the center but it just feels a bit too low and like it's about to run off the screen. Also, the music is rising in pitch while this stream goes directly downwards, so maybe try pointing it in a different direction and curving the stream?

  1. Two things to note about 3/4th sliders in soft sections. 1) make sure that they are really justified by the music and that players can tell it's a 3/4th, or else you just get a bunch of dropped sliderends. For example: 01:31:015 (5) - and 01:35:890 (1) - 2) If the slider tail isn't mapped to anything, the volume should be lowered. You did it at 00:03:640 (3,4) - but missed it pretty much everywhere else. Hitsounding should be consistent throughout a map.
  2. 00:23:140 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1) - unusually low stream distance. It's the only place where it goes down to 0.4x, the rest of the map only goes down to 0.5x
  3. 00:37:108 (6) - this note isn't mapped to anything. I know there's a really really faint cymbal but you basically can't hear it when playing, and the triples come out of nowhere, and the rest of it plays fine if it's removed.
  4. 00:45:733 (5) - same here and 01:40:390 (1) - this slider end and 01:43:671 (3) - this note
  5. 00:58:390 (1) - this one doesn't really need to be a 3/4 instead of a 1/2, the tail isn't mapped to anything
  6. The "in-between" notes you place at 01:01:296 (3) - 02:04:296 (3) - and 03:35:046 (5) - feel unjustified, especially in a lower energy section where the overmap is very apparant
  7. 01:17:327 (6,7,8,9,10,11,1) - this stream could be neater
  8. 01:25:390 (1) - this note should be 1.0x from the previous
  9. 01:49:858 (4) - this slider should probably just be a note on the red tick, and 01:49:390 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - should be a jump sequence
  10. 02:08:093 (2) - a note starting on an 8th tick will mean a lot of 100s. I recommend shortening the previous slider to a 1/2 and starting this slider on the blue tick and adding a reverse arrow. The same thing applies to 02:34:952 (3,4)
  11. 02:25:765 (2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - I recommend extending the slider to the blue tick and starting the stream on 02:26:139 (4) - instead. 02:26:608 (9) - could also be shortened by a tick (ie remove the reverse)
  12. 02:37:671 (2) - unusually large spacing compared to the rest of the map. I think ~1.6x to 1.8x would be more appropriate
  13. 02:49:390 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1) - the spacing between streams creates an artificially high difficulty spike. It also creates awkward cursor movement that appears only in this one place. Typically this sort of pattern needs to be introduced earlier in the map and reinforced several times. In other words, the entire map should be built around this sort of pattern (if you choose to use it) instead of just putting it in to spike up the difficulty for the bridge. As an alternative, I would recommend lowering the jump spacing and instead varying the stream spacing more. So for example, 02:49:671 (4,1) - should be lowered to either 0.8 or 1.0, but then the spacing for 02:49:765 (1,2,3,4) - could be increased a bit more.
  14. The same principle applies to the "fycho pp jumps" at 04:02:140 (1,2,1,2,1,2) - and 04:20:140 (1,2,1,2) - . No where else in the map are there 1 2 1 2 jumps like this, and they appear to be put in just to boost the difficulty. The rest of the map uses star jumps with longer combos, and these back and forth jumps seem to come out of nowhere and don't really match the rest of the map. For example, although the jumps at 04:30:640 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5) - are really big, they still match the star jumps and longer note combos of the rest of the map.
  15. 03:08:140 (3) - and 03:09:640 (3) - should be 1/2 instead of 3/4
  16. 03:38:890 (5) - I think this note works better when ot's not stacked of the previous
  17. 03:55:765 (4,5) - this jump is really huge, consider lowering it to match the rest of the map
