Tl;dr: Input latency, do you play with it or do you not?

I've always played with the latest version of the driver until I learned about the input latency that the latter versions cause. I've noticed a sharp decline in my aiming ability, but of course it will come back in due time. I just want to learn what everyone else is using. Was I oblivious or did most of the community not know about this either.

My aim has actually gotten worse with the lag free driver. Though it's mostly my fault; I snap too hard to begin with, and my cursor always arrives too early.

I use the latest Wacom drivers and I've never felt any sort of input lag. Then again I use a CTH 490, which may have something to do with it.

For some reason though, the latest drivers have a TON of smoothing that it's almost ridiculous. Though I admit, it helps with my aim better than the lag-free driver for the twitchiness of my hand.

It shakes because your hand shakes naturally. Get used to it or start dragging. I hover and I don't have any issues with this.

I hope this isn't a necro (18 days isn't that long)

Has anyone changed to 6.3.9w5 and saw an improvement in the long run? I'm considering it but whenever I try my aim is so much worse.

I changed to it, and seemed to get better instantly. Used it for like 6 months, changed to latest because the shake is annoying as shit on hr, and seemed to get better again.

aka. it won't make you better in the long run, you will be just as good if you use latest.
