[resolved] No skins, no beatmaps

Hello guys,

I just wanted to play osu! ...and every beatmap and all of my skins are gone.
Only default options, the original skin and the first 29 beatmaps you get.
I saved all skins and songs, reinstalled osu! - but nothing seems to work.
And yes, I put the skins and songs back in the folders where they belong.

I've had the same problem about one year ago and I could solve it by reinstalling the game.

osu! version: 20151128.2

I guess you are opening a wrong installation. You can click here and see if the beatmaps and skins are there, but I think you have two installations and you are opening the wrong one.

Maybe the version in User > AppData >Local is interfering with the one on C://?
I am going to copy everything to this folder and try it again

It is hard to find out anything, did you put the skin folder into the skin folder by any chance? maybe that's the reason they didn't load

It's not only the skins, but the songs, too...
I just deleted everything and try it once again.

I had to delete >everything< and then put all of the songs and skins etc. back
