There are some maps of questionable quality from the very early days though when the standards weren't as high.
I'd rather like this to target such maps as these effectively don't have a good ranked mapset but still work as bad examples while being ranked.

If the new map's better than the old one, then thats fine and people stick to the new one for a reason.
Either way, maybe people could add a link to the old version in their description to show the new players that their version isnt the only one/to introduce new players to the older mapping styles. I think that'd work out.
