I don't really think low note density (as written in your answer to the mod mentioning this) is a valid reason to have this. Players playing this first time are almost guaranteed to fail or sliderbreak or best case "100" it. Not being able to "sight-read" a map is pretty discouraging for a player and shouldn't really be a thing. By sight-reading I really mean "reading". It's just not enjoyable that way. Another for this not to be acceptable is that this is the only time in the map you use those cheeky overlaps. If players are used to playing this they might expect it. But as you didn't do it before and the fact that there is a pause leading into it is just no acceptable in my opinion. Tricky patterns =/= unreadable patterns.
