Evening
If you ever decide to rank anything

I'm glad I am able to something for you anyways

[1]

Displayed some sort of snap recognition here and there, didn’t really dig the omission of snaps at the front. Some snaps I’ve noticed are wrong so please do be careful next time, I didn’t really bother much about them as they don’t really affect the gameplay much
Showed that you can use make use of all types of sampleset’s hitsound
Hitsound is kinda too soft, might want to raise it slightly
HP/OD looks fine for me

Some LN patterns were definitely interesting to play really liked some inverses/shields here and there
Hitsound was pretty neat too
00:14:806 - Focusing an instrument on one hand was a good idea, though I felt that its “enjoyability” falls short as you omitted some snaps that were present in the music, hence I didn’t really feel the map was very well integrated with the music.
Somewhat suggesting to add more hammers/SVs so as to spice up the gameplay here:
Hammers could’ve been good to create a larger impact on sound effects like cymbals. For example, 00:44:113 (44113|5,44113|4,44229|2) – could’ve been hammered in some way to create a build up here towards the cymbal here, making the impact on the chord following it stronger
SVs can be used to “fill up” gaps in the music so as to make the map a more wholesome experience. One scenario could be the intro here, 00:03:729 – you could’ve utilized the gap here to throw in some spicy SVs (mmmm), though I would strongly encourage to omit the notes at the front here 00:00:037 – and add similar SVs too so as to keep it more consistent.

Well, I think I’ve said it 100 times already but snaps, try to not omit them here
00:10:421 (10421|4,10652|5,10883|6) – LNs like these sort of “underemphasize” the sound effects here when I play it, would’ve been better if they were chords
Similar to what I’ve said on Creativity, some sound could’ve been emphasized more if you had added hammers/SVs into it
I kinda get what you’re mapping with at the end, ¼ s to the hats but honestly, I really don’t think the players would hear the hats that clearly through the layering of the instruments here. Would’ve been better if you had did a constant ¼ throughout or a more obvious ¼ patterning usage at the ending
01:35:575 (95575|2,95575|0,95690|2,95690|0,95806|2,95806|0,95921|2,95921|0,96037|4,96037|6,96152|4,96152|6,96267|4,96267|6,96383|4,96383|6) –Think that this is slightly overkill on difficulty, would’ve been better if you did a maximum of 2 jacks consecutively
Noticed that some pitch relevancy breaks here and there but in general it was rather well done
02:24:037 (144037|3,144960|3,145306|3,145652|3,145883|3) – oh fuck yes I love this
It was rather neat to play through though, I have to give you that

Alright, first of all, this really did a good impression for me as it was well hitsounded, nicely patterned and some LN patterns are pretty interesting to play with
One thing that I couldn’t really ignore is that the fact that you’ve omitted too many snaps in the intro, what I feel that’s special to the song is that it has a variety of snaps to break the player out of the monotonous ¼ momentum all throughout any other song that they could’ve chosen, I really think that you could’ve made use of all these non ¼ or ½ snaps in the beginning, slightly disappointed due to that.
[2]

LN patterns here I felt were rather creative and at the same time fitting to the difficulty and music which is pretty hard to pull off
01:41:113 (101113|0,101344|1,101575|2,101921|3,102267|4,102306|5,102344|6) – oh yea this is pretty sexy mm
I like some of the selective layering here and there but… some left out are kind of weird for me, probably personally preference but I’ll discuss more about that in the next section
02:47:806 (167806|0,167921|1,168267|6,168383|5,168729|0,168844|1) – felt that you could’ve emphasized these synths better, as of now, it blends in into the following notes, somewhat diluting the feeling that players get from these doubles.
02:50:806 (170806|0,171267|0,171498|0) – Some patterns I don’t really get 02:36:037 (156037|4,156498|4,156729|4) – Not sure what the initial LN is for

00:15:613 (15613|1,15844|4,16075|5) – It’s a rather interesting rhythm here but I feel that it would be more suitable for the music if those 2 gaps in between the 1/4s are filled, I don’t really hear anything very unique in the music to justify this rhythm
00:20:113 – Felt like a missing note here, it’s a really weird omission for a note anyways
00:27:729 (27729|4,27729|0,27960|5,27960|1,28190|2,28190|6) – the omission of ¼ s here is rather weird since you are still mapping for the bass guitar previously and afterwards
00:36:729 (36729|4,36844|2,36960|3) – Felt that you could’ve used a hammer to emphasize this chord on the last note highlighted
00:40:998 – Probably a missing note here
00:51:498 (51498|4,51613|3,51729|2) – Same comment as the one prior to the previous
00:29:575 – Felt that this section is rather bland, even if you’re mapping the synths, the note rhythms heavily overlap with the drum loop, which makes it seem like you’re just mapping the drum loop anyways. Would recommend to throw in some LNs to make this less bland
00:59:575 (59575|5,60729|4) – I like the selective mapping of the LNs here
01:09:037 (69037|0) – I think it’d be more fitting if this ended ½ earlier
01:32:344 (92344|4,92575|1,92806|2) – could’ve gone for the ¼ hat swing rhythm but this is fine anyways
02:22:652 (142652|0,142767|1,142883|2,142998|3,143113|4) – are the guitar and the drums here merged together? I think it’s better if they are separated
03:00:037 (180037|5,180037|1,180152|3,180267|0,180267|2,180383|4,180498|3,180498|1,180498|6) – this pattern doesn’t really give the feeling that is suitable for the music, felt more like a filler pattern instead.

First impression of this is that it’s a rather solid Hard diff for players, the difficulty in general here was rather fitting and offered a nice variety of LN/note patterns for those at this difficulty level
However I feel that this can be improved in certain ways mentioned in the above 3 sections
[3]

00:29:575 – I like the idea of separating instruments into 2 different hands but try to avoid bias like 00:34:306 (34306|3) – on the centre key
02:09:037 (129037|4,129152|0,129267|5,129383|1,129498|6,129613|2,129729|5,129844|1,129960|4,130075|0,130190|5,130306|1,130421|6,130537|2,130652|5,130767|1,130883|4,130998|0,131113|3) – Sexy
02:14:344 (134344|0,134575|4,134806|2,135037|3,135267|0,135267|6,135498|4,135729|2,135960|3,136190|4,136190|5) – Could’ve pulled of the guitar here better
02:24:960 - Similarly

00:16:421 (16421|3) – Felt that you could’ve made this a single note and added a LN on 00:16:652 - , feels better for me
00:17:460 (17460|6) – Same here, add a LN on 00:17:690 –
00:44:229 – Suggesting a note on 5
00:53:575 (53575|3) – Same as the comment for biasness but, this should be fine as it is not a weird ¼ rhythm on the left hand
00:58:998 – Suggesting a note on 4
02:34:998 (154998|4,154998|6,155113|5) – Transition may be a tad bit awkward, revise this
Judge’s Impression: 6
This is pretty standard map, really think that some patterns should be revised more for the suitability for the low level players. Some sounds are omitted that I felt could be mapped in
[4]

00:09:267 (9267|0,9613|1,9960|2,10421|6,10652|5,10883|4,12498|3) – Really like how this pattern turned out
00:14:806 – A pretty unique take to this section as you’ve mapped the distorted uhh sound thing..? idk what you call it
01:26:575 – I’m really digging everything from the intro to this point, suggesting to add another LN on this for the other synth

00:03:037 (3037|2,3383|3) – Felt that if these notes were delayed by ¼, it would feel better as it is mapped to the stronger sound
02:06:037 – Man, up to this section, I really dig the selection of instrument to map, I feel that it’s better to map to the guitar at this point. Feel that it’s better to go for the more prominent sounds for beginner diffs.
Judge’s Impression: 8
This is surprisingly good… mostly. I didn’t like how you chose the background synth over the guitar solo though

Tq everyone, it means a lot to me, just for you guys being here... ^^

to the Judge and my reply
[Expew]Thanks for the review to all other aspect, as for...
"Creativity 8/10
There are several parts that catch my attention, especially on the unique pattern. You managed to control the pattern on the whole column according to the rhythm, but still some of them does look weird (mostly Holds)
Avoid the usage of reversed pattern during solo rhythm. "
i assume this is on Insane's chorus/kiai part.
i myself could say that my Hard's chorus and Insane's chorus LN have almost same rough usage,
but thx to this, i will change Insane's chorus LN to fits insane diff more.

"Difficulty Curve 9/10
Good, just the amount Easy diff's holds are more than the Normal diff. "
this must be the symmetric LN usage on Easy, eventhou its easy... hmm i will reduce it then, for a better spread ^^

[Evening]
Insane
-for SV, i really really would love to add one, yeah , was planning to add one here 00:04:652 - for this kind of impact,
but then i already used up or fill all the 1/4 here 00:00:037 - with note, neglecting the SV to be not effective here
and if i skip it specially here.... it will be like quite inconsistent...
-hammer...hammer... i will try to add it for it, to build the impact towards the cymbal.
(it could probably looks not directly hammer, but its suppose to be same column sound, like 00:03:037 (3037|4,3383|4,3613|4) - )
-for opening's LN i will also look for a way to make it more interesting, >w<

"02:24:037 (144037|3,144960|3,145306|3,145652|3,145883|3) – oh fuck yes I love this" - oh god, tq, me too
thou i also love this section > 02:09:267 -

Hard
"01:41:113 (101113|0,101344|1,101575|2,101921|3,102267|4,102306|5,102344|6) – oh yea this is pretty sexy mm" - <3 <3 <3

-last part chorus LN, and some short of it? i will see if i can make all of it consistent so it will be great enough.
-fills some more note on this section 00:14:806 -
-mostly accept for adding note, while keeping some pattern as it is intentional.

Normal
"02:09:037 (129037|4,129152|0,129267|5,129383|1,129498|6,129613|2,129729|5,129844|1,129960|4,130075|0,130190|5,130306|1,130421|6,130537|2,130652|5,130767|1,130883|4,130998|0,131113|3) – Sexy" - <3 <3 <3
"02:14:344 (134344|0,134575|4,134806|2,135037|3,135267|0,135267|6,135498|4,135729|2,135960|3,136190|4,136190|5) – Could’ve pulled of the guitar here better" - as for this, i rearrange this part, looks better now (i avoid the usage of last 02:15:960 - LN here , and use normal note instead, while keeping it on same column, emphasize same sound, this will do!)
-02:24:037 - i also remodel this part a bit more...
-and follow most of the basic idea, and hopefully turns out well for your concern :)

Easy
-00:14:806 - yep, for easy, its intentional for that... for a spread wise XD
easy, just this LN, normal, 1/2 note with some LN to skip lots sound. hard mix 1/4, and so on.
-for guitar solo, yep, thx for the opinion.

[Blocko]
-Thx blocko, gotta see once again if i can add the SV, and raise some noise(for the hitnormal sound)
"There's this one pattern that used intricate hold patterns in the middle of Insane combining long notes with regular notes that I just find a bit bothersome, but that may be just me. " i would like to know which pattern is this XD , so i will see if i could readjust it better.
-omg, thats all, thanks Blocko, just notice me if you want to add more.

updating once for easy fix stuff, and will continue again tomorrow.
Thanks again everyone~

what's up

7K
7K Column:
| 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 |
[]
[Easy]
Mod inside
01:23:113 - Add a note on 4 for the crash

02:54:037 (174037|2,174960|2,175883|2) - Move these to 2 to give some attention to that column.
[]
[Normal]
Mod inside
00:08:806 (8806|1,8921|2,9037|4,9152|5) - Use an LN instead? The synths here are in 1/6 and 00:09:152 (9152|5) - doesn't seem to follow anything here.

00:39:498 (39498|0) - Make this LN end at 00:40:190 - to be consistent with 00:54:267 (54267|6) - .
If you apply the suggestion above, add a note at 00:40:421 - for the wind instrument.

01:39:613 (99613|3) - Note actually starts at 01:39:652 - with 1/6.

01:40:075 (100075|4,100421|3,100767|2) - Rearrange this according to pitch?

01:58:421 - Think you missed a note with drum-hitwhistle here.
[]
[Hard]
Mod inside
SVs
Same as Insane.

Other stuff
01:11:690 - Add a note here for the tick?

01:39:613 (99613|0,99671|1) - Should be in 1/12 starting at 01:39:652 - .

02:00:037 (120037|3) - Extend this LN to 02:00:383 - , move 02:00:267 (120267|2) - to 5 and switch 02:00:037 (120037|3,120383|1) - these notes around.
This is so the LNs become accurate with the synth while applying a bit of pitch relevance to the patterns.
[]
[Insane]
Mod inside
SVs
00:03:729 to 00:04:421 - Would be better if you kept using 1.16x and 0.84x here as that gives enough emphasis and impact with the synth.

00:05:806 - Start the progressiveness here so it gives a better alert for players to get ready for the upcoming patterns.
E.g. Start at 0.7x and go up by 0.1x for each line in 1/4 snapping and as soon as you hit 0.9x, have 0.95x in the middle of 0.9x and 1x.

00:10:883 and 00:12:729 - Short slowdowns with a speed up diminishing to 1x, huh.
Honestly, I'm not quite sure what effect these SVs are supposed to give out.
If you were aiming for a bigger impact with the cymbals, something like 1.2x to 0.8x should be good enough to emphasize those.

Other stuff
00:04:652 and 00:04:998 and 00:05:344 - Think you can use 4-note chords for these guys to give off bigger impact.

00:09:037 (9037|2,9094|3,9152|4,9210|5) - Should be in 1/6.

00:13:652 and 00:14:113 - Same as the first suggestion.

00:14:344 (14344|5,14344|6,14575|6,14575|5) - Aaaa I'm confused as to what these are supposed to be following

00:22:421 - Missed a note with drum-hitwhistle here? You have that on the next 3 measures.

01:02:171 (62171|3) - Should be in 1/12 at 01:02:152 - .
01:02:287 (62287|3) - Should be in 1/12 at 01:02:306 - .
You might need a better readable pattern should you apply the two suggestions above.

01:08:113 (68113|3,68171|4,68229|5) - Should be in 1/6.

01:11:690 - Add a note here for the tick?

01:15:152 - Add a note here to catch the background synth

01:16:940 (76940|5) - Should be in 1/12 at 01:16:921 - .
01:17:056 (77056|3) - Should be in 1/12 at 01:17:075 - .
Again, you might need a better readable pattern should you apply the two suggestions above.

01:22:998 (82998|2) - Not sure what this one follows as 01:22:883 - only has the 1/6 synth going.

01:35:575 - http://puu.sh/lL4Si/25ca647729.png
Simply put, 01:35:806 - should have the same density as 01:35:575 - since both of them have the same sounds, and 01:36:037 - along with 01:36:267 - . Also makes this section easier to play through.

01:38:806 (98806|1) - I think you can split this up to 2 LNs to follow the strings in the background.

01:39:613 (99613|3,99671|4) - Should be in 1/12 starting at 01:39:652 - .

01:53:575 (113575|2,114498|1,114844|2,115190|1) - Oh yeah, this is what I was talking about as to why it's a bit bothersome.
Again, it may be just me because the LNs are extended longer than usual on one hand and the drum notes are on the other hand, which is something that sets this particular pattern different from the others. Took me a bit of getting used to to hit those accurately, though.

02:22:998 (142998|2,143113|4) - Stop the LNs at 02:23:806 - to give better playability.

02:36:498 (156498|3) - If you're following the background synth, move this note down to 02:36:383 - .

02:38:171 (158171|2) - Should be in 1/12 at 02:38:152 - .
02:38:287 (158287|4) - Should be in 1/12 at 02:38:306 - .
Again, you might need a better readable pattern should you apply the two suggestions above.

02:40:190 (160190|6) - If you're following the background synth, move this note down to 02:40:075 - .

02:44:113 (164113|2,164171|4,164229|5) - Should be in 1/6.

02:51:267 (171267|3) - If you're following the background synth, move this note down to 02:51:152 - .

02:52:940 (172940|3) - Should be in 1/12 at 02:52:921 - .
02:53:056 (173056|3) - Should be in 1/12 at 02:53:075 - .

02:54:960 (174960|2) - If you're following the background synth, move this note down to 02:54:844 - .

02:58:998 (178998|3) - Not sure what this one follows as 02:58:883 - only has the 1/6 synth going.

I know I already told you this, but I'm telling you this anyway.
Congratulations on winning the contest, LordRaika!

01:23:113 - Add a note on 4 for the crash
actually, add to 7 and make it complete reverse from 01:21:267 -

02:54:037 (174037|2,174960|2,175883|2) - Move these to 2 to give some attention to that column.
Sure~

also, finalize Easy Pattern on the first chorus.

[Normal]

00:08:806 (8806|1,8921|2,9037|4,9152|5) - Use an LN instead? The synths here are in 1/6 and 00:09:152 (9152|5) - doesn't seem to follow anything here.
Good point, i remove all of it, and using 2 note to emphasize the hat sound instead
looks much more appropriate for 'Normal'

00:39:498 (39498|0) - Make this LN end at 00:40:190 - to be consistent with 00:54:267 (54267|6) - .
If you apply the suggestion above, add a note at 00:40:421 - for the wind instrument.
got it~

01:39:613 (99613|3) - Note actually starts at 01:39:652 - with 1/6.
i actually intentionally skip the 1/6, and place note on start and end of the grace note.
but for an easier play, i decide to remove the end of grace note. so now its jst 1 note on the start of the grace note.

01:40:075 (100075|4,100421|3,100767|2) - Rearrange this according to pitch?
sure thing~ , moved to 6

01:58:421 - Think you missed a note with drum-hitwhistle here.
added.

Another good thing for Normal is, i rescale LN amount,
now Normal has more LN than Easy. just majorly change this into LN if u want to know :
02:57:267 - , 02:59:113 - , a perfect chance to give player time to get used to LN in simple way.

Other stuff
01:11:690 - Add a note here for the tick?
i rarely add a note on this blue tick after full 1/4 , but when i do, i usually put full 1/4 , or jst 1/2.
for this i will leave it as it is.

01:39:613 (99613|0,99671|1) - Should be in 1/12 starting at 01:39:652 - .
if we look more more closer... yeah its probably best start at 1/12 ,
thx Blocko~

02:00:037 (120037|3) - Extend this LN to 02:00:383 - , move 02:00:267 (120267|2) - to 5 and switch 02:00:037 (120037|3,120383|1) - these notes around.
This is so the LNs become accurate with the synth while applying a bit of pitch relevance to the patterns.
Yes! did exactly llike that, and u also keep my mapping style to mostly try to hand balance,
especially when there is holds and single note , ^^b

uhhh havent decide what to do with this SV, will think about it again, and made the change soon >_<

Other stuff
00:04:652 and 00:04:998 and 00:05:344 - Think you can use 4-note chords for these guys to give off bigger impact.
Sure~

00:09:037 (9037|2,9094|3,9152|4,9210|5) - Should be in 1/6.
oh damn right.

00:13:652 and 00:14:113 - Same as the first suggestion.
i would like to but i think the current pattern is perfect as i want,
adding more note, will kind a break their balance if u knw what i mean XD

00:14:344 (14344|5,14344|6,14575|6,14575|5) - Aaaa I'm confused as to what these are supposed to be following
damn, i actually wrongly snap them, now moved into the correct one, so u should know what i follows now.

00:22:421 - Missed a note with drum-hitwhistle here? You have that on the next 3 measures.
i actually want to give break by giving blank space after the 1/4 trill there.
but ok, doesnt even seems to be hard even after those trill,

01:02:171 (62171|3) - Should be in 1/12 at 01:02:152 - .
01:02:287 (62287|3) - Should be in 1/12 at 01:02:306 - .
You might need a better readable pattern should you apply the two suggestions above.

OMG, 1/12 should be very detailed...
but somehow this looks really hard(just a bit for acc)
even after i readjust the pattern.

and i apply all similar to above suggestion.

01:08:113 (68113|3,68171|4,68229|5) - Should be in 1/6.
01:11:690 - Add a note here for the tick?
01:15:152 - Add a note here to catch the background synth
Yep, Sure~

01:22:998 (82998|2) - Not sure what this one follows as 01:22:883 - only has the 1/6 synth going.
better to remove it then

01:35:575 - http://puu.sh/lL4Si/25ca647729.png
Simply put, 01:35:806 - should have the same density as 01:35:575 - since both of them have the same sounds, and 01:36:037 - along with 01:36:267 - . Also makes this section easier to play through.
Now here is the hard decision... i need a solution for this...

before... the pattern is all out 13,13,13,13 and 57,57,57,57
the 1st 4xhammer represent the same sound, the column 1 and 3 represent the audio is focused on left channel or left speaker.
the 2nd 4xhammer represent the same sound, the column 5 and 7 represent the audio is focused on right channel or right speaker.

so umm, this 4 hammer is a bit too much(just a bit) therefore i reduce it...
any suggestion is welcome then...

01:38:806 (98806|1) - I think you can split this up to 2 LNs to follow the strings in the background.
hmm, but for this section if i add another layer LN, i should change the structure here,
so i wont change it.

01:39:613 (99613|3,99671|4) - Should be in 1/12 starting at 01:39:652 - .
k

01:53:575 (113575|2,114498|1,114844|2,115190|1) - Oh yeah, this is what I was talking about as to why it's a bit bothersome.
Again, it may be just me because the LNs are extended longer than usual on one hand and the drum notes are on the other hand, which is something that sets this particular pattern different from the others. Took me a bit of getting used to to hit those accurately, though.
oh dont worry, before u finish modding this, i actually remodel this section of guitar solo's LN a bit >w<
now this looks even more tastier while keeping it not too hard.

02:22:998 (142998|2,143113|4) - Stop the LNs at 02:23:806 - to give better playability.
^^b

02:36:498 (156498|3) - If you're following the background synth, move this note down to 02:36:383 - .
Allrite, i will follow this , and apply for all similar

I know I already told you this, but I'm telling you this anyway.
Congratulations on winning the contest, LordRaika!
Really Thanks Blocko >w</
and updated, final thing, maybe i need some suggestion for this 01:35:575 - while it keeps what i aim to map.
