  2. 01:13:460 (4,5,6) - the rhythm feels a little awkward, especially the triplet ending on a red tick. maybe use the same rhythm as 01:13:058 (2,3) - ?
  3. 01:13:862 (1,2,3) - same thing, emphasis on a blue tick plays strange
  4. 01:42:121 - remove drum sound for slidertick?
  5. 03:12:224 (1) - It sounds like there are some timing issues, but I'm not an expert at this
  6. 03:12:593 (2) - remove, doesn't follow anything in song
  7. 03:40:974 (1) - I think 1/1 slider + note works better, I'm not hearing anything on the blue tick mark to justify the repeat (same with the other 3/8 sliders)
  8. 03:58:531 (5,1) - just a suggestion for this section, but you can replace this with a 1/1 slider to create some more intensity by skipping the downbeat
  9. 05:26:136 - another idea would be to put a spinner here until 05:30:136 - so the player follows the piano only after the guitar is finished
  10. 05:38:886 (2) - i'd break up into a note +1/2 slider since 05:38:886 - has a much higher piano sound. same with 05:40:386 (2) -
  11. 05:43:636 (5) - maybe change this to a circle. i think a puase at 05:43:886 - has a nice effect. you could do the same with the other similar patterns
  12. 07:20:189 (2,1) - use bigger spacing or sharper angle to emphasize (2) ? I think it should be more similar to what you did at 07:22:320 (4,5) -

The difference in difficulty between the calm parts and the intense guitar solos is huge. You could maybe tone down some of the streams/jumps, but I think it fits well with the song. Hope that helps and good luck!

Hi here's a hitsound thing :v

[Asleep]

00:59:532 (4) - Add finish. Sounds like the finish follows that loud bang so it would normally go here.

01:03:282 (5,7) - Also add finishes

01:05:424 (5,6) - For this I'd suggest adding the claps to (5) since it's the same kinda static sound. Technically you could keep the claps on 6 as well because that static thing still plays but there's also a bit of a lighter static sound playing on the 1/6 so you could probably do something like (5) is claps and (6) is Finish/whistles. Both sound nice imo. One other thing you could do is also add one clap to 01:05:960 - just that part of this slider then the rest is whistle or finishes whichever you prefer.

01:08:103 (5) - Finish

01:12:925 - One thing I just noticed is you have this custom clap to I guess follow the static. If that's the case then maybe use this same drum D:C1 for the part back at 01:05:424 for consistency. Also technically the hitsound pattern doesn't really mimic the one in the music but it doesn't sound bad this way so its fine.

01:15:067 (1) - HNNNNNG if you could raise the pitch of this by one half step it would sound sooooo sexy. So I played around with the .wav file in audacity and I think I got the pitch right. I'm not the best at this cuz that was probably my first time using it for that but I attached the fixed drum-hitfinish2 here.

01:16:407 (4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6) - While personally I don't like the whistle spam it's not wrong. Although if you're open to suggestions I'd have the whistle every 1/2 tick. Actually keep the whistles doesn't sound too bad in game. Only thing missing is the custom finish you'd normally have on 01:16:675 (5,1) - and the clap at 01:17:745 (1) - so I suppose you can still add the defaults so the hitsounds are consistent or maybe add a few more timing points and switch to custom for those notes only then switch back to soft. That mighit not sound so nice but if you could figure something out for this it'd sound great :v

01:19:353 (1) - So after changing the custom keysound this also sounds kinda nice. It's not the same pitch as the bell here but it does add a bit of harmony. If you REALLY wanna be fancy with it though you could probably add a few more custom hitsound numbers and if there are more different bell sounds I can make a few to match the pitch. As of now though this one sounds fine with the new bell pitch mostly since it's in the same key (D# vs D).

01:21:049 (5,1) - Add finish. Like the previous suggestion if you could manage to get the custom finish you had on 01:20:425 (3) - and keep the default whistle for these it'd be great :v

01:22:031 (1) - Add clap and same as above if you can get dat custom clap in dere like 01:23:103 (9) -

01:25:246 (5,1) - Add finish and same point as 01:21:049

01:26:317 (1) - Add clap and same point as 01:22:031

01:29:264 - ^ same things lol

Actually since I couldn't really follow a rhythm with the whistles in this section in general 01:49:353 - 02:06:496 - I'll throw out a suggestion. You can disregard it if you had a pattern and also don't like how this sounds :v

- 01:55:246 (4) - Add whistle to head
- 01:56:585 (3,4) - Add whistle
- 02:01:675 (7,8) - Add whistle on 7 and remove from 8
- 02:02:210 (1) - Remove whistle from head and add to the red tick at 02:02:478 -
- 02:03:014 (2,3) - Remove whistle from 2 and add whistle to 3's head.


It will add a bit of a rhythm to this quiet section it doesn't necessarily follow the piano but it sounds pleasant and hitsound patterns also serve to give players audible feedback since they'll be single tapping and be like oh here comes that whistle and then tap and BOOM whistle FeelsGoodMan

Anyway back to hitsounds

02:28:700 (1) - Add clap to tail and remove clap from tail

02:29:553 (4) - Remove clap and add whistle

02:32:621 (6) - Remove clap add whistle. BTW this is to keep that rhythm pattern the same.

02:32:791 (1) - 02:33:473 (5) - Not a hitsound thing but make sure to add that visual effect you have at 02:34:155 (1) - for those two notes since they all have that finish sound. It will look pretty cool and add some buildup.

02:38:247 (1) - Add clap to head

02:45:406 (3) - ^ Also get rid of the green timing here since it's the same D:C5 as the previous.

02:45:747 (5) - Add clap here and remove clap at 02:45:917 (6) - Now I suggested this cuz then what the claps do from 02:45:065 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - is clap clap pause clap pause clap clap finish which is a common drum pattern when changing into a different section of the song like from the first part of the chorus to the second in this case. Music stuffs lol trust me on this :v

02:45:747 (5) - Also personally I would keep the D:C5 custom here to better follow the drums. I know why you switched back to 2 to follow the bell there but if you switch to D:C5 it sounds so nice especially after the hitsound changes suggested above. Try it and see if you like it (hope you do lol)

02:46:429 (1) - Add clap to head

02:50:520 (1) - ^

02:51:883 (1) - ^

02:55:974 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - Well this could work I suppose :v

If you want you can also try something like 02:56:059 (2) - add clap, 02:56:400 (6,7,8) - remove clap, 02:56:741 (2) - add clap and give it a bit of a different sound but up to you.

02:57:338 - So for this section I'm not sure if you're following the drums and the guitar with the hitsounds. For example 03:00:406 (2) - 03:01:088 (7) - 03:01:429 (1) - 03:02:110 (3,4) - Have a different rhythm than the first part at 02:57:338 - 02:59:895 - I'd suggest a few alternatives but I also don't know if you had something im mind that you'd prefer with these hitsounds.

Anyway I'll list the suggestions here anyway and if you didn't wanna change them that's fine.

DAMN this was a huge mod. Inb4 no changes :v Also I could've missed a few things or not suggested some parts because they didn't sound that bad so yeh

Also might wanna bug charles or pishi to doublecheck those BPM changes just in case. A few sounded a bit late at some parts to me anyway.

  • i'm not sure but check that the hitsounds start exactly where the .wav file starts, i find them a bit delayed looking at the map, at first i thought the timing was wrong but doesn't seem like it


  1. 01:00:067 (5) - add a new combo here, it's a new measure and you did it in later measures
  2. 01:41:585 (4) - i'd make this slider mirrored (the first part of the wave goes to the left) so it flows better with (3)
  3. 01:48:014 (4,5) - there's a bigger jump in intensity in (4,5) than (3,4), so I'd make the (3,4) jump smaller than (4,5)'s
  4. 02:43:190 (4) - I know this is intentional but it looks a bit ugly when not stacked
  5. 02:51:542 (7,8,1) - I'd make these a triangle. There isn't such a big intensity jump to make the spacing inconsistent between these three
  6. 02:52:565 (3) - same as 02:43
  7. 02:53:247 (1,3) - this one looks fine for example
  8. 02:58:360 (4,5) - why not stack :(
  9. 03:40:122 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4) - I really don't think back-and-forth streams are nice to play but whatever floats your boat
  10. 04:30:917 (5) - I'd stack this with 04:29:894 (9) - instead. It's a way too under-emphasized jump right now
  11. 05:30:136 (1,2,3) - i don't really get this spacing inconsistency, (2,3) has a bigger emphasizing than (1,2)
  12. 05:34:886 (4) - following your spacing logic for this part, i'd place this note around 296;224
  13. 05:46:886 (3) - I'd place this note farther away from 3 as it has some emphasizing in the song
  14. 06:32:454 (1,2,3) - I don't see why dividing this into 3 notes. It feels really confusing since it's just a single sound, there's no need to click 3 times.
