Personally I use mouse + keyboard (no tablet cuz' poor):
- 800dpi
- 1.0x (masterrace), 6/11 windows
- Mouse : Steelseries Kana V2 White
- Mousepad : FoxXRay MagicLock (worn-out and probably need a new-one, but it's still fine imo if you didn't count "farming but then shit miss")

Hover, drag while spinning
My grip is weird, my middle finger touches the bottom area of the pen and the two fingers either side next to and under the middle finger with my thumb above that. Yes I hold real pens that way. Yes my handwriting is absolutely atrocious.

I just use my laptop's dome keyboard, I don't take osu! that seriously.
I can't alternate for the life of me honestly, I'm working on it.

Tablet + keypad:
-Drag, experimenting with hovering
-grip is very similar to calligraphy two
-H420 Full area with on a 17.3" screen.
-2 key keypad with gateron clear switches. these switches are ridiculously light.

Wacom Intous Small 4: Too lazy to post my crop, it's small though.

Another play style I can say I am decently good at is using Mouse + Keyboard. While I can consecutively perform well on 5 star songs with a tablet, I can do just about the same with Mouse + Keyboard, but what's stopping me is that my mouse is very heavy (Razer Ouroboros 2014).

Monitor Resolution: 1920 x 1080 @ 144hz

I play with whatever is close to me at the time.

- Hold close to tip like a ballpoint pen
- Intuos pro medium

Mouse :
- 1200
- 6, Raw input
- G9x
- XXL mouse and keyboard pad, fabric top, rubber base.

Keyboard:
-W and E keys
-Leopold FC660C tenkeyless

(I play usually with my tablet but often I also play with my mouse to warm-up my aim before playing CS:GO for le 360 ebin flickshot)

I'm a very casual player.

Mouse: CM Storm Recon set to 800dpi

Keyboard: Microsoft SideWinder x4. I use the A and S keys for fast streams only, since I mainly play with my mouse's left click.

I have a Wacom CTL-470 but I can't get used to it to play osu! so I don't play with it. I still prefer playing with mouse and keyboard.

also taped matches on the lachesis, put tape on everywhere my hand touches because it's so hard to grip otherwise with a idk what grip

I play both mouse and tablet.

1000 DPI Logitech mouse (can't be arsed to find model number)
A shitty rubberdome Logitech keyboard (ditto)
A CTH 490

8/11 Windows sens with 2.12x osu sens for my mouse, standard 1.0x on tablet. No don't ask me to change it, I can't play with any other sens.

I hover with tablet and don't know what my mouse hand does since I don't pay much attention to it. It's probably a claw grip.

Tried lowering it because people told me that those settings were not good (couldn't adjust dpi though). Got tired of the massive mouse drift that occurred. Switched back to my normal settings and now I only have issues with my hand tensing up with slight drift off my mouse pad compared to shifting all over the space that a sheet of printer painter would occupy.

Unless you swap the lens. Yes. I have both the custom lens and normal lens so I can swap them if I want to and void the warranty

Mouse only, all the time (I have no coordination, it'd take me AGES to learn how to use mouse + kb)

~2000 DPI (Don't quite know how to check for sure, DPI is customizable with it)
3/11 Windows sensitivity
1.05x Osu! sensitivty (Raw input on)

I single-tap unless I have to use both fingers. I tend to alternate fingers for consecutive sliders that go in opposite directions.
I always play with Hidden. I despise approach circles.
