  1. 00:54:027 (169) - I'd suggest to remove this note, main rhythm is still in doubles. fixed.
Thank you mod :)

Given the structure and pace of the song, I'd go with 172BPM. Drums just feels slower than the other instruments, it's something called half time iirc. Using 86BPM would lead to use a 2/4 timing signature and I don't think that is correct. I think I would keep 172bpm, see my post after this one

[ Futsuu]
  1. 00:02:400 - 00:12:167 - The mapping here feels a bit bland, you're missing the chance to get this more lively by following a bit the string instrument, something like this would work. pretty good suggestion, I don't really make easy diffs so I couldn't think of a way to make this part more creative.
  2. 00:39:027 (82) - I'd suggest to move this note to 00:38:330 - , the beat is stronger here and leads to a better feeling for the big note. And the resulting pattern would be consistent with 00:40:423 (85,86,87,88) - changed
  3. 00:54:027 (119) - I believe this note is misplaced. The main rhythm goes in 3/2 but this note isn't bound to it, notes in 00:53:679 - and 00:54:376 - would be the optimal choice here. After you do this, remove 00:55:074 (121) - to give a little breather. accepted first timing suggestion, but I moved the note to 00:54:551 (121) - instead (red tick after white line you suggested).
  4. 01:37:283 - There's this sudden instrument mix change here that doesn't feel really good. Some notes follow the flute, and others the percussions, you can unify them by placing notes that follows both instruments, like this: ok changed
[ Inner Oni]
  1. 00:05:190 (10) - 00:10:772 (27) - Removing these notes would create some nice pauses for the song. I'll keep it. I think the break at 00:06:934 is good enough for a pause in intro.
  2. 00:23:679 (87,88,89) - This triple feels a bit weird, try moving 00:23:766 (88) - to 00:23:591 - , it'd follow a bit better the song. done~
  3. 00:35:888 - 00:40:074 - I'd suggest to keep a bit of focus on the percusions too, the sudden instrument change doesn't feel nice. I'd suggest something like this, the colours can change, just take the image as a reference for note placing. changed this part a bit.
  4. 00:49:318 (17,18,19,20,21,22,23) - This should be a bit more like 00:52:109 (39,40,41,42) - , for consistency purposes. I disagree, the music actually varies a bit and I don't want the player to hit as many notes there as the music from 00:52:632 (43) - changes to a less intense beat. (I actually don't know how to describe it, yes the melody becomes more varied, but the background beat.. you know what I mean :P
  5. 00:59:609 (20) - 01:05:190 (59) - Why are these kats and not dons? @_@ They'd play and feel better as dons, imo. I wanted to keep like this for variation but if you're really fussed about it then I will change it back. Doesn't really seem like other modders had issue with it, though (or maybe I said variation again)
  6. 02:05:365 - A less drastic volume change would sound better here, imo. updated from aabc's diff since I am using his volume changes :D
Solid mapping. Thanks! I'm glad to hear that.
also @Surono and @PatZar, if you guys don't actually have anything to say about the map itself can you guys leave

also regarding bpm, tasuke and I talked about it in game and we will keep 172bpm, for 3 real reasons:

1) the pace of the song, as Dake has pointed out really calls for 172bpm. 86 is too slow. Maybe a song which might be more controversial to put double bpm could be something like Flower Dance, but I asked a few other players and mappers as well and they have said 172.

2) 86bpm requires metronome to be 2/4, which is not natively supported by osu!.

3) I don't wanna remap D:

  1. 00:38:330 - You are missing a note here, feels really empty compared with the previous and next pattern, being the same music intensity. It was actually because I been matching all the cymbal at that part (00:41:469 (47,48) - ), but this could be really tricky to play for beginner so changed to your suggestion.
  2. 00:43:388 (49) - How about moving this note to 00:43:911 - and make the pattern k d? It would complement better 00:42:516 (47,48) - as they would be the same, as in the music. Yeah, and this 00:41:993 - isn't map so yeah fixed x3
  3. 00:52:283 - You're missing a note again here, feels weird considering the previous pattern. Actually no, I'm not missing anything, it was ask to remove due to 5 notes being too much here 00:51:934 (62,63,64,65) - , and is like 2 different section, but yeah I get your point, I changed a bit, kept a triplet 00:51:934 (62,63,64) - and changed to a consistent beat after
  4. 00:52:632 - Keeping a 3/1 rhythm (i.e. notes in 00:52:632 - 00:53:679 - 00:54:725 - , and probably in 00:55:074 - too) would help to follow better the most characteristic rhythm in the song. Nah, part of the reason is from above since, rather have it consistent and on 2/1 beat, since the gap between 00:52:632 - to 00:53:330 - and 00:54:027 - 00:54:725 - should be consistent.
Thanks for the mod DakeDake~ x3

edit: i probably would have put this as artist, since Xun Wei is/was a member of Chai Found Music Workshop (my Chinese reading skill is not good so I can't be for sure). however, since it is hard to find a solid source I will leave it as it is.

Since there was some kind of confusen, I just reposted what tasuke and kwan said previously. There is no "feat." given, hence, what both said above is correct as we have authentic sources given which prove that. That's actually all I can say about this case.

Ok, I checked the metadata using a different source and it looks fine. As this was the reason for disqualification, I'll go ahead and rebubble it.

Translation:
・The way to read the song title is Tanhou ~Blooming~
- Tanhou means "A flower blooms (in full bloom or profusely blooming)". Blooming is basically synonymous to this. This line contains irrelevant information.
・The artist is Zhan Xun Wei.

Also found a source confirming the name of the artist here.

Rebubbled!

ah.. please do not consider wiki as a valid source if there are official references. Hopefully, it does not confuse people.

Yeah true that. Just some more things to support it tho.

thanks for rebubble :3

and yes, looking at newyam's second source the other members of Chai Found contribute to the song with the classical instruments. hence, I put Chai Found Music Workshop in the tags.
