I feel like "off-topic means we can all be assholes to each other and everyone who posts" isn't the general consensus on what "off-topic" means. So new players might be surprised when they get shit from others for no other reason.
Peoples worst side shows through here, because they don't have the guidance of mods in this place. Seems like guidance is needed to stay civil. For most users at least.[/quote]

I had understood that "The other forum" would have implied another section of this forum, because there aren't only 2 forums on the entire internet.

So your logic is flawed.

You messed up, just admit it instead of looking for an excuse

"The other forum" has much more potential to stand for "The other forum I used" than "Another section of this forum"
