That's kinda insulting. =/
I'm a Bronze player and that is no where close to my attitude in the game.

That being said, some people do like to say something along the lines of 'you're not good at the game' in ranked... I usually come up with something along the lines of 'you're playing with Silver and Bronze players... you can't be that good yourself if you're here with us'. That usually shuts them right up, even if they're only joking around.
I actually had one guy say 'Nah, I don't belong here, I'm really good'. That was interesting... He went Jungle-Jarvan IV ... wasn't 'bad', but there were some decisions he/she made that just... weren't good ones.

Yeah i know what u mean i am Bronze myself i play this Game for like 3 years now And yes i am still Bronze the reason for that is i like to play normals more its just more fun people enjoy the game more cause they are not Raging if we are losing cause u have nothing to lose but yeah i guess this season i will try hard i think i can atleast reach Gold that will be my goal
SiFly_old
Isn't that hard to reach gold, basically involves not randomly blindly running towards something.

This said about mechanics, i've seens bronze IV with equal mechanics as me as plat player. What they did wrong? stupid mistakes, using an ability and afterwards staying in range and that kind of stuff.

Even if they have the same mechanics, the game is WAY more complicated than that bro. Skill difference isn't only because of mechanic difference. It isn't only about making stupid mistakes and stuff like that.

you can burst with w and e now so yeah dfg could work well. also dfg doesn't mean assassin, it's just a burst item (ofc most of the char who can burst are assassin...)

Playing normals over ranked doesn't matter, because I only have 80 total ranked games with season 2 and 3 combined and I still got gold very easily in season 3. Normals are supposed to prepare you for ranked by the way. Not sure why some people act like it's some sort of troll queue half the time even though I have encountered way more trolls in the 80ish ranked games than I have in the last 300 or so normal games.

As already mentioned people in bronze lack mechanics and have poor decision making. Another big thing is they don't know a lot of champion match ups at all. I've seen some of my friends that are bronze all in against stuff like Riven as Singed or Yi at level 2 and feed horribly and they don't understand why they died and lost that lane. There is also stuff like proper itemization (when to build this or that) that causes them to not do well, but that's not only limited to bronze because I see diamond players itemize terribly all the time. It's just more extreme in bronze. lol

If you really want to climb ranked it's probably best to just play one or two champions for each role. I really don't get why people try to be so diverse with their champion pool if they are under diamond. I only play one champion in ranked and it very rarely put me at a disadvantage. Even pros like Dyrus and a few others have said it's best to just spam 1 or 2 champions to get to diamond and then branch out from there.

Top: Riven/jax
Mid:Kassadin/gragas
Jungle: lee sin /elise
Adc:Vayne/cait

play cait and sona they are realy good and not hard to play
tyrael6192
i find people are a lot more concerned with lane counters at lower elo, and then as you get higher people gradually start to give 0 fucks and play whatever

matchups aren't exactly the same thing iirc? it's more the dynamic of how one champion works against another and it's just something you learn through playing vs everyone
Soarezi
aaalrighty then, the enemy team threw the end so hard. they all tanked nexus turrets and i just went there and finished them GEGE

Matchup is the instance of one or more champion(s) versus another. You can have good, equal, or bad matchups.

At every level of play, people will try to counter pick. Only at the higher levels will it actually matter; in order to outmatch the enemy by counterpicking it is assumed skill is already high enough from both sides.

idk that's your opinion really. sona is faceroll on keyboard sure, but can you time the proper power chord for your adc and you to win the trade? do you know when to ult so you actually secure a kill for your adc?

cait surely has the longest range in the whole game, but saying she's "not hard to play" is an underestatement. i honestly think she's hard to play, i have no clue why. call me bad or whatever, but i think cait is pretty hard.

If you do main adc caitlyn is not hard, but if you main something else and you don't know how to make Caitlyn worth (like me) then don't pick her.

This is so true and so wrong at the same time. Picking the right/wrong champions can win/lose the lane straight. I ALWAYS chose an adc by our teamcomp / their bot lane. While others might not and get crushed in lane by first picking and insta-locking Vayne.

I've actually tried both and didn't like either. =/
Didn't like Caitlyn's kit at all. Her ultimate's easily blocked by someone else, her Q keeps her in one spot for a short time. I like Sivir because she's mobile, she has a defensive option (her spell shield) and her Q takes zero time to launch and people can't dodge it (which makes it super fun). I loved her before the rework.

Sona... ehhh... I don't feel like she has enough to protect her ADC. Nami has a stun, slow, heal, poke and wide-range, long-range ultimate slow. Then her passive.

SoG Tava wrote:

At least for ADC, I need someone mobile. I considered Lucian but I heard he's underpowered.
Support, I need someone who can poke and protect the ADC really well and I just find Nami's best for that.

I thought that you were suppose to counter-pick all the time (I have friends who watch pros while I do not) but wasn't told until late that matchups matter less at Bronze level. I'll worry about matchups when I start to rank up, but at Bronze, I don't care... yet.

I mean, if I see a Pantheon, I'm not gonna pick my main (Gangplank).
That reminds me, why do people hate Gangplank so much? o_O

I've seen a lot of Vayne banning lately. I guess she's popular?

Vayne is banned because she's basically the strongest adc duelist late game and can carry hard alone. For example, 1 item Vayne = 2 item Cait etc.

The thing is though, she usually has a horrible laning phrase versus most adc's, and when I see a enemy first pick vayne, I can feel the LP just cash in as I know I'm usually able to crush bot lane.
Kanye West
Pff...not with a halfway decent support. Any vayne I support is absolutely huge coming out of laning phase...and proceeds to throw by trying and failing to 1v4. Why does every vayne player think they're doublelift lol

a skilled and practiced vayne destroys a championselect.net hero who plays a mediocre caitlyn

but the point is if you're climbing and playing one champion you're good at you will inadvertently come up against your counters and 50%+ of the time you will beat them anyway because they prioritize "lol counter them easy gg" over knowing a champion

this applies less to bot lane because of weird synergies and shit but solo lanes? always

no ur the #vayne killing 1v4

anyway what tyrael says is somewhat true

thing is championselect.net and all these websites only take LANING phase into account

caitlyn vayne's hardest counter? ask them when they both have full items at 40 min mark

a bad vayne can even kill a mediocre caitlyn

But see, by your logic, Nasus counters every toplaner. Vayne obviously scales harder than Cait, but that's not what we're discussing.

I wouldn't say Cait is Vayne's hardest counter but in a Cait and Vayne matchup of equal skill and equally competent supports, the Cait should have a pretty sizable CS lead coming out of laning phase.

The hardest counter to Vayne is team coordination, gapclosers, CC, AS reduction, and oracles/pink wards. Same as any AD Carry actually. The reason Vayne is so strong in solo queue is that nobody has any coordination so you can skirmish your way to win. Whereas, in competitive play, when Vayne is picked, there needs to be a team comp built around her.

when did i say nasus counters everyone

i didnt talk about cs stacks

tell me someone who can counter nasus late game who has infinite stacks? noone
