The game may not be fun if you play rankeds and constantly try to get better, your team will fail and so will you, people will rage and blame others. As long as you don't blame others, which is surprisingly hard for most players, you're on a wonderful start. The community is bad because the game is way too popular, there are like 12 year old kids (at least mentally) that are just impossible to play with, thank
god Riot for the mute button to save your brain cells from being destroyed by complete retardedness.
Starting the game also is complete hell nowadays, the players that get banned on their lvl 30's just make a new account and flame all the new players for not knowing how to play the game with like 5 games of experience, that's some next level reasoning right there!
. But the reason there is so much hate is that if someone in your team fails in some way, it will affect you even though you didn't do that thing. Best thing to do is not care about your rank and just focus on thinking about all the mistakes that you make and try to fix them next time.
tl;dr Game is hell to start, experienced players will hate you for being bad. Not fun to play if you care too much about the game.
