You didn't say what difficulty you want me to mod, so I only modded Normal and HOS' Hard.

I don't think I'll be much of help since it already has a fairly high SP and I'm a beginner at modding.

Normal:
00:51:634 (7) - Since you mapped this in "2010 style", why not put this at x:252 y:84.
01:01:163 (5) - Looks more pleasing if you copy the slider before it and flip it around a few times until you like the way it is.
01:06:810 (1) - Get rid of the NC here and instead add it here 01:07:869 (3).

Hard:
00:04:869 (6,7) - It looks like they're gonna go offscreen.

Also, why not add some hitsounds? If used correctly they can make the map better.

The BG needs a size of 1366x768.
Make sure that you untick Widescreen Support and Letterbox during breaks. Also you may want to have the same tags in every diff.
The CS of every diff is very high for their difficulties.



Aldwaych's Easy

00:01:340 (1,1) - Honestly I'm not sure if such an overlap is allowed in an Easy. The problem is that both sliderheads are at the same point unlike 00:02:399 (2,2) . So it might be a problem.
00:09:104 (1) - CTRL + H and some rotation to improve the transition to the next slider? Same goes for the slider after that one, in case you change it.
00:20:928 (2,3) - This pattern would make more sense if there was a sound that sounds quite the same as 00:15:281 (2,3) but it isn't the case here.
00:26:575 (2,3) - Also a quite weird transition if you ask me. It'd be way better if the slider would be more to the right.
00:37:869 (2,3) - Not really a fan of this one.
00:43:516 (2,3) - The new word and also lower pitch starts at the white tick between these sliders.
01:13:516 (1,3) - Looks very weird and could confuse a new player.
01:14:575 (2,1) - ^

00:00:634 (2,3,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - I'd suggest to stack circle + slider because there's not really a good flow in it due low density so this plays quite weird. The same goes for all parts that are mapped like this.
00:15:281 (1,2) - Ofc they are not touching, but it looks really strange.
00:19:163 (8,2) - Stack definitely visible and confusing for newer players. Same goes for 00:20:575 (2,4) and all similar stacks.
00:23:399 (2,3) - Flow / transition is very meh.
00:32:222 (3,4,5) - For what reason do you destroy the flow out of a sudden?
00:41:399 (1) - I don't here anything this circle could be mapped to.
00:43:516 (1,2) - Improve slider shapes, they look like 2010 ones.
00:50:928 (6,7,8) - Did we timetravel back to 2010? Jk, you should definitely change it as it's weird as hell.
01:02:575 (1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3) - Imo they feel a bit awkward as there's nothing dominant it could be mapped to.
01:09:281 (5,6) - Fix blanket.
01:11:752 (3,4,5) - It's just really weird.

Overall this diff needs some polishing. D:


HOS' Hard

HEY HOS, HERE WE MEET AGAIN. :D
I feel like you could use NC more often at the beginning.
00:15:457 (4,5,6,7) - (4) shows directly to the stacked 1/2 circles, which makes it look awkward.
00:28:340 (1,4) - Is it stacked? Can't really tell because sometimes my editor shows it and sometimes it doesn't.

Someday I'll request a GD from you! (^:

Not needs, it is recommended, what we needs is the ratio. However the ratio isn't good so it has to be fixed.

Very high is a big word. But yes i recommend a -0.5 CS on our diff. (That's what i'll do on my at least)

In the end of the first slider we got a sound change and battery on the begining of the second. Here, the rythm is constructed on the 1/2, this is a legit 3/2 double sliders.

00:26:575 (2,3) - Also a quite weird transition if you ask me. It'd be way better if the slider would be more to the right. And after? I'm blocked and get a weird transition too with a circle a slider. It's easier to have this flow with 2 sliders rather than 1 circle between 2 sliders.

00:37:869 (2,3) - Not really a fan of this one. Sorry for you bro D:, give me an example of what you would want to have and we can discuss, because here i don't know what you really want me to do, last sentence you point the same rythm pattern that you want the sliders to go on the same direction and when i do this, you're not fan. Well ok.

00:43:516 (2,3) - The new word and also lower pitch starts at the white tick between these sliders. I don't care about the vocals here, i'm following the melody. And the structure i made along the whole part before the kiai.

  2. 00:11:222 (5,6) - What about doing a symetry here with 00:10:516 (3,4) - ? Atm this pattern looks random and not really constructed.
  3. 00:15:281 (1,2,3) - You could have done a beautiful pattern here. 00:15:281 (1,2) - alone is ok, but with 00:16:693 (3) - it kinda break what you intended imo. You could do a pattern constructed around a 120° rotation like this -> http://puu.sh/mH2kv/52923348f8.jpg but up to you ofc.

  2. 00:16:693 (4,2) - it's better to avoid all kind of overlaps/stacking in a easy diff
  3. 00:47:752 (4,1) - ^
  4. 00:50:575 (4,2) - ^
  5. 00:32:222 (2,3) - weird rhythm here... compare what you did here 00:37:869 (2,3) - ... it felt much better tbh

    This difficulty needs hitsounding. It's monotonous and a complete waste since the song has a lot of room for creative hitsounding.
  1. 00:43:163 (3) - It'd be nice if you could move this slider a tad down since it's quite close to the HP bar. You only have to move 00:42:104 (7,8) down so you can move 00:42:457 (1,2,3) down as well.

    This difficulty is pretty solid as it is. It just needs hitsounds.

  1. 00:20:575 (2) - The repeat arrow is covered up by 00:19:163 (8)'s end. I tested this part and the hitburst dissapears right when you have to click (2) but I think it's a wise decision to avoid this regardless and rearrange this pattern.
  2. 00:38:575 (2) - How about trying a blanket here for better flow with 00:39:281 (3)?
  3. 00:46:340 (2,3,4) - I think you can make a blanket here like this, and add a note at 00:47:752 since it's a beat that feels ignored for no reason and should be clickable.
  4. 00:52:340 - This empty space here is unfitting. I see you left some space so players could see the spinner coming but this is way too much. I highly suggest you to map till 00:53:046. I think a long slider will do (to follow the vocals). Anything is fine as long as you don't leave that empty space. ):

  5. 00:53:399 (3,1) - You didn't leave enough time for beginners to prepare for the spinner. You should delete 00:53:399 (3) in order to do so. Also, the spinner is too short. I suggest you to extend it to 00:55:869. Sounds way better in my opinion.

But after 00:11:487 - this part, your nc style is correct because of vocal :)

  1. Principally the same with your "Lost in Paradise" map, you need to include the other elements to complete a skin set in your beatmap.

    Now, for the spinner, you have two versions you can choose: v1.0 or v2.0 (old or new). Currently you added those two versions in your beatmap, but only one version can be skin. If you want to know which spinner you like most, download the two templates here because there is a difference. I can't really explain it to you, but what I can say is that v2.0 is the most recent and it is used currently, so you might want to go with v2.0. If so, here are the list of images you need:

  1. 00:05:575 (3) - Could be just me, but you started this slider on a rhythm which has ended on 00:05:752 -, and after that, the rhythm is new. So that's a little rhythm issue in my opinion, and I would start it on 00:05:752 so it could begin on the new rhythm.
  2. 00:20:928 (2,3) - Not a good usage to the rhythm to be honest, because they are following something else, other than what's around is following. Try this perhaps:
    This also happens to 00:32:222 (2,3) - 00:43:516 (2,3) .
  3. 00:37:869 (2,3) - Personally, the pattern doesn't look nice. Try maybe parallel sliders, like this:

This doesn't look like your current mapping, therefore you should consider some remapping, in my opinion.
  1. Your new combo pattern gets very inconsistent because you put sometimes on the upbeats and sometimes on other downbeats, and many more. For example, 00:22:693 (5) should instead have a new combo instead of 00:23:046 (1) because, well, it looks more logically when having a new combo on the first tick of the measure, which is the long white tick. I think you didn't understand this on my recheck for your other map, so I'll try to elaborate more.
    So, what I suggest you is a new combo on "each second measure". A measure (or bar) "is a segment of time". Basically, when you see two long white ticks not far from each other, that is one measure. To give you an example, 00:12:810 to 00:14:222 is a measure, and 00:14:222 to 00:15:634 is a measure. When I say "add a new combo on every two measures", you count two measures and on the end of the second measure (which is also the start of the next measure), you add a a new combo on the object. So, 00:11:399 to 00:14:222 is two measures, since 00:11:399 to 00:12:810 and 00:12:810 to 00:14:222 is a segment. That makes that 00:14:222 will have a new combo if an object is on it.
    You want to begin the pattern on 00:11:399 through the end. So, 00:14:222 - 00:17:046 - 00:19:869 - and etc. would need a new combo. If it's still confusing, I'll try my best to re-explain this point and maybe use images.
    Some objects kind of conflicts with this, which I will explain on the next point.
  2. Onto another point, it's the sliders ending on downbeats, mostly the long white ticks, like 00:13:516 (6) . I might skip 00:12:457 (4) but that sounds okay, yet 00:13:516 (6) doesn't feel nice to hear. The downbeats are usually the beats that should have a clickable object, like a circle and a head of a slider since the beats are generally louder. Unlike this song though, the rhythm is a little different, but it does still sound weird, at least for me. This happens pretty frequently like 00:16:693 (3) - 00:19:163 (8) .
    Here are the others though, that I think sounds bad lel

  3. 00:10:516 (3,4,5,1) - You would want to rethink about the gap here. This is what you call "polarity", further explanation is in a video by Charles445. But briefly, what I pointed is a gap that is unusual and not the same as the other gaps. You can have some different gaps, but this one is confusing, and with the current AR setting, players might mistake it with a 1/1 gap like you often did like 00:09:634 (2,3) even if the distance is larger than what looks like 00:11:399 (1,2) . So, I suggest you start a slider 3/2 slider on 00:10:693 . Like 00:09:634 (2) .
  4. 00:15:281 (1,2,3) - Aesthetically and flowing are not great in my opinion. Here's a suggestion you can do or inspire it from, although it will require rearranging the following patterns:

  5. 00:23:399 (2,3) - The blanket with 00:23:046 (1) can be done nicer, so try to adjust the curves or try something else.
  6. 00:25:516 (5) - Likely the same as the previous point, adjust the curve to make a better blanket with 00:26:222 (6) .
  7. 00:37:869 (1,2) - Not much of a fan for this flow, because 00:37:869 (1) is going to the right, although 00:38:575 (2) is on the other side, and it is going up while 00:39:281 (3) is on the right. Try moving it to x:268 y:316.
  8. 00:51:987 (8,1) - Lol, I remember this kind of issue in "Ransom". This is unexpected because the spacing has just "collapsed"; the distance is not constant and the gap is different like 00:51:634 (7,8) for example. You'll have to move 00:52:693 (1,2) elsewhere so that distance is constant here too.
  9. 00:57:281 (1) - I highly suggest you remove this circle because the spinner is near to it, therefore the recovery is short, and since the BPM is high and the difficulty is a Normal, it is not very suitable to the beginners.
  10. 01:00:457 (4,5) - The wave shapes could be more refined. Now, it doesn't look great. Actually, 01:01:163 (5) is not symmetric to 01:00:457 (4) but I would change the shape a little, like this maybe:
  11. 01:15:987 (3,1) - The "polarity" issue is also here. The gap is not what we have seen before and the distance is similar to 01:15:634 (2,3) -, and to fix this, you have to change the rhythm here, so I suggest you add a hitcircle on 01:16:693 .
Like I said before, I recommend a remap with better aesthetic and usage of rhythms. I'm sure you'll get it.
[HOS' Hard]
  1. In the first part of the map, the rhythm like 00:01:340 (1,2) doesn't sound very nice with the music, since the slider is ending on a sound yes, but not a beat, and with the soft hitsound doesn't fit great with it. I suggest you go with a 1/1 slider instead; the head and tail will hit the red ticks beats while the body is "skipping" the downbeat if I compare with what you did. This only happens through 00:11:399 -, but you need to rearrange the patterns which will take a lot of time, unfortunately...
  2. 00:53:928 (1) - I highly recommend you reduce the spinner's length, maybe by one beat, because the recovery time to 00:56:575 (1) is pretty short since the BPM is fast, and this is a Hard difficulty, so it may not be suitable here.
No complains for this difficulty, just a little rhythm issue I found.

    Yes you're right with what you said, and you're proposition is good. But i don't think it's such a matter, and i want to keep it simple, tbh, having a 3/2 distance isn't worth at all and the slider's shape make it quite well with the rythm. So imo both ways are good but both has advantages and inconvinients, but i prefer the easiest play for the player.
