ATTENTION: Rule Change/NotificationM4M requests are now priority. Go for M4M if you want your map to be modded ASAP. M4M requests will be modded before NM requests if accepted.
The M4M map can be found under the M4M explanation on the first post.
M4M requirements change:- Now must be more than 3.4 stars.
- can be any length instead of the <4:00 req
Next, I've made a flow chart of the process in which a NM request goes through:
I've also decided to make a spreadsheet of the request, check dates, status, and results public. I hope the flowchart I've made answers 97% of the questions you may have to why the status of your map is what it is. You can find it
here.
I've been thinking quite some time about this, and I think I'm ready to give it a go. I am making a new type of request I like to call "M4S", which stands for mod for star. This is aimed at mappers who need more stars on their map or want more stars on somebody else's map while providing the starrer (that's a word, right?) high quality mods on his/her map.
Rules for M4S: I shoot 1 star to the map of your choice for every one of my maps you mod. Keep in mind that this is still a request that I need to accept. So before you start modding my map and I reject the request, I advise you to wait for me to accept. For this to count, there will need to be at least 7 individually accepted edits to the map. 14 individually accepted mods will earn you 2 stars, and so on. Ofc, you still get the kudosu for modding the map by posting it on the beatmap forums regardless the number of edits so long it’s a valid mod. It’s a win-win!
I guess that's all for now! Happy modding, ranking, and what-not!
