And the stats distribution site you linked says it's only 1 of 4 rather than one-of-a-kind. Still could be worth quite a bit if it actually is tradeable.

Yeah, they are starting to charge those prices for keys now. My lucky drop in the first whatever hours was a Gibus. Everyone needs to get a Gibus some day.

Right after they added the item sets, I got my first dropped hat, a Familiar Fez.
Three days later, I got a second Fez via drop.
I got a V. Kabuto for that second Fez.

I don't really craft, right now anything I get that I don't want to keep gets exchanged for scrap, and then I go to scrap.tf and exchange it for weapons. Not counting reskins, I'm still missing 20 weapons, and I want to get all those first before worrying about anything cosmetic.
My first and only hat crafting session was last year on the release of the Manniversary Sale.
I'd say it turned out pretty well. It's a shame I pretty much never play Heavy though...
I also crafted a #91 Flair!, but I traded it for a #12 One Man Army (which I have been half-assedly trying to sell ever since then).
