2015-12-30 01:08 deetz: 00:36:309 (1,2,3,4,5) - i dont like this type of back and forth, requires too much mental power for this map imo cuz of the movements u have to do :(

2015-12-30 01:16 deetz: yea most people just use extended slidersnow

m4m we talked about in irc
my map: https://osu.ppy.sh/s/378196lolis
- 00:08:924 (1,2) - completely breaking the movement here even though it seems to belong to before musically? maybe add it to the pattern before
01:21:847 (1,2,1,2,1,2) - seems better as the movement transitions better into the last of those three, so if you don't want to add it to the pattern at least make the movement more like there reworked the whole thing- 00:17:232 (5) - seems a bit too strong musically for such a low spacing, even if the pattern is really nice, maybe try sth like this http://i.imgur.com/SfMtb6G.jpg which would play similar but give 5 more emphasis? wanted to emphasis 6 instead cuz emphasis a kick sound that repeats every measure isnt good
01:21:078 (3,4,5,6) - is fine as there the lower spaced note is way weaker- 00:18:155 (2,3,4) - movement didnt feel that intuitive to me, how about some ctrl-g? http://i.imgur.com/cayVi84.jpg did ctrlg to 3 so the broken flow is more natural
- 00:20:001 - this is so strong, at first I thought you put a clap on the slidertail, lol. probably nicer if clickable uhm i think these are ok for how this section works
- 00:28:924 (1) - same here, would also go well with vocals
- 00:36:770 (4) - clearly raise in vocal pitch and very strong beat overall, spacing this more and putting the lower spacing on 00:36:924 (5) - (or even stacking it under 4) would fit the music better it's another kind of emphasis, where you go inside the note instead of outside. it's weird, but works xd
- 00:44:617 (1,1) - I think arranging them a bit different, for example like this would make it a bit better to read the rhythm and not break on that slider by letting go too early http://i.imgur.com/DJYlS1O.jpg i like how mine looks tbh
- 00:47:693 (2,3,4) - angle feels pretty unnatural to play, at least for me, with how the slider before leads the movement, maybe try rotating the triangle a bit or something like that it's ok, there's no big jump so movement is more free
- 00:54:463 (4) - you already use lots of nc in this part, so why not add one here? would fit with the new strong piano starting on 4 and the pattern doesnt fit the song imo
- 00:55:386 (3,4,5) - you could try arranging them a bit differently to get a more "consisten" movement which would pklay ncie here imo
before - after would also nicely flow ito the next slider never broke here xd
just compare it with 00:57:540 (2,3,4,5) - which plays so much better since the movement feels more natural- 01:00:001 - having this clickable would fit really well, it's like one of the strongest beats i always break on extended sliders ;w;
- 01:24:001 (5,9) - how about putting nc on both? at least on 9. could make it consistent with how you nc the very similar music on 00:09:847 (1,2,1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3) - did on 9
- 01:26:847 (1) - seems to be either not snapped or to 1/32? as it's not on a 1/16 tick. well it doesn't make any noticeable difference during gameplay, so whatever, lol. seems to go for all diffs so it looks intentional i asked some people and this seems ok, but i'll see what to do here later
very loli
- 00:04:924 (8) - clearly intentional like that, but I still feel like ctrl-j and some roating would be nicer :v clearly intentional
- 00:11:386 (1,2,3,1,2) - is a slightly harder to read pattern like this really necessary for a hard(?) diff? at least reduce the overlap a bit to make it easier to read like you did with 00:16:617 (1,3) - moved a bit
- 00:39:386 (1) - nc every measure before but suddenly you nc on this? removing nc here or adding on 00:38:155 (2) - would be nice i think it fits the map
- 00:45:232 - clickable would be good here imo considering how strong it is mm i dont think it's really strong ><
- 01:00:001 - same here//+reasoning from this from lolis same
- 01:13:847 (2) - this direction makes it look more like a 1x repeat, ctrl g it to prevent misreading it? doesnt change playability as you can move your cursor anywhere on the slider without breaking anyways. just like you did on 01:23:693 (1,2) - right
- 01:25:693 (4,5,6) - is a 195bpm triplet really needed on a 3.5*/hard? would be fine without it i think i have a stream a bit before xd
semi loli
- 00:52:770 (2,3,4) - this feels so strange to me, could maybe arrange it more like http://i.imgur.com/sOOXafP.jpg ? player keeps the mouse in the same position, i dont see what's strange
- 01:03:693 (5,6,7,1) - such a long straight/linear movement might be a bit problematic for newer players, consider using some ither angles i'd say rect lines are easier xd
01:17:847 (3,4,5) - is only 3 circles so it's slightly better :v
seems fine pretty muchpishi mod plz
- 00:04:617 (3,4) - same thing for the linear movement and maybe make 3-4 a 1/1 slider? this part seems pretty much as hard as normal atm so that would be nice having a bit less 1/1 considering the rather high bpm it's ok ithink
- 00:32:617 (1) - 2x reverse are not really nice to play for highly inexperienced players, single reverse + circle or sth would be better imo reverse arrow is visible before you reach to it also, music allows it
- 00:37:540 (1) - ^ especially since it kinda alternates between those and 1x repeat
- 00:43:847 (2,3,1) - switching between 3/2 and 2/1 gap here migh be a bit hard for an easy without any sliders inbetween to make it easier to comprehend the change but slider where ;w; doesnt fit here
most stuff is pretty picky as the diffs seem to be decent overall already
hope it could at least help a bit!
gl with this :v

Hi m4m~
[General]
* I think the mp3 volume is a little bit low compared to other maps. Maybe increase it a bit. ill try
* I guess you haven't decided the BG, right? xD (a.jpg and e.jpg doesn't fit to the rules as you know) right eright
[Easy I guess]
* 00:23:078 - NC term goes too weird for me. Consider adjusting it like Normal (I guess) diff. right i fkd up
* 00:46:617 - 00:49:078 - These two are very similar sounds but the focus is different. I know what sound you're trying to represent, but for this Easy (I guess) diff, 00:48:463 (2,3) - this kind of rhythm isn't common and too sudden, and inconsistent with 00:46:001 (2,3,4) - . Same for 00:58:309 (2,3) - i wanted to vary between those 2 instead of copy paste one
* 00:52:309 (1,2,3,4) - This rhythm is kinda hard too. Maybe you could at least bind 00:53:386 (2,3,4) - into a 1/1 reverse slider. circles in easy are ok imo
[Normal I guess]
* That AR jump from here to Hard (I guess) is very big. I think there's some kind of a wall that makes people think "Normal's AR shouldn't exceed 5 because players should be able to easily HDHRDT it" or something. But AR3 is 1320ms and AR5 is 1200ms, and AR8 is only 750ms. AR5/AR3 is 1.1x, AR8/AR5 is 1.6x. I think it's really a huge gap in terms of nomod approach speed. This kind of hard Normal could go with AR 5.5 or even higher, is what I think. there's no need i think. for now
[Hard I guess]
* 00:17:386 - This beat is especially strong but it's on the slider end... Did you try to represent it by putting an 00:17:232 (3,4) - after jump? right, and also cuz the only way i make it clickable is using 1/1 reverse before which sounds awful
* 00:53:386 (1,1) - That 'little' increase on sv seems a bit weird to me. They're basically Ctrl+H'd, but their length is just 'little' different so it looks a bit... unbalanced? I would use 1.15x for both sliders, if I were you. it's mostly an aesthetic thing that playing you wont even notice xd
* 01:25:693 (4,5,6) - Personally I don't like it being only different while it's still same kind of sound with 01:24:309 (1,2,3) - It's like you were not caring about those 1/4 sounds at all before but suddenly changed your mind. more like, i dont want it to be a full stream pattern so ill just add 1/4 to the beginning and end xd
* 01:26:770 - This end sound is strong and I hope it to be clickable. not everything have to be clickable.. like someone said, it's cool cuz you hold the tension on the slider and realise it afterwards, in this case with a spinner
[Insane I guess]
* 00:02:924 (5) - What does that slider end represent? I see many of those throughout the map like 00:15:232 (7) - 00:17:693 (8) - 00:20:232 - 01:00:232 (3) - 01:16:847 - 01:21:770 - , but I don't understand. I don't hear any 1/4s. They look too overdone (if not overmapped) for me. they are used mostly for emphasis, like how people use triples on downbeats, this is similar
* 00:54:386 (3) - The drum sound here is werid. It feels like it's on 1/6 snap or something. uhm i think using 1/4 is more intuitive, espcially when the possible 1/6 snap is just a scratch.
* Welp, you did the same things I mentioned on Hard (I guess) here too.
Sorry for short mod, the map is so good that I couldn't point out many things.

so m4m, i think Sotarks told u
[uhhh Easy i guess xD]
-since its high bpm and there are like many clickable objects i think CS 2.5 is better would look too crowd if i do that
-00:08:001 (1,2,3,4) - better rythme maybe: OH uhm let me see it again later, i think i did it this way so the circles are after a long slider instead of a 1/1, uhhhhm
-00:12:309 (3,4) - ctrl+G since i think that big white tick should be clickable not every downbeat has to be clickable ;;
-00:17:847 (1,2,3) - maybe better rythme: i like 2/1 gaps
-00:22:463 (2) - i feel like this one should start here 00:22:463 - fits the vocals this way
-00:43:847 (2,1) - blanket is like sliggggggghtly off tried::
-01:07:386 (5) - NC 3 notes combo doesnt seem right to me xd
-01:21:847 (1,2) - ctrl+g
-01:26:155 (3,4) - same x)
[semi loli]
-00:01:693 - feels weird not having a note here too much 1/2 imo ><
-00:04:155 - same here :/
-00:53:232 (3,4) - uhh idk about this flow tho id make them go straight but oh well its just my thoughts ill see what other people think
-00:56:309 (4,5) - not stacked ertg
-01:15:540 - 01:18:001 - no note?
[very loli]
-id place a circle here 00:01:540 - and a slider here 00:01:693 - more fitting the song imo, well here is my suggestion: downbeat is stronger i think
-00:06:463 (3,1) - not stacked lk
-00:08:001 (1,2) - i feel like they could be more separated compared to 00:08:463 (1,2) - didnt get it tbh xd
-00:56:770 (7,8) - failed stack xD sfs
-01:02:155 (1,4) - wtf here too xDDqwe
-i feel like it needs a 1/2 slider here
-01:11:078 - here too 1/1 circles are ok too
-01:15:386 (4,5) - same suggestion of rythme as i said in the beginning same
-01:26:770 - u dont feel like it should be clickable? x) no in this case xd spinner is enough
[lolis]
im gonna call the police xDDD ;;WW;
-00:13:847 (4) - copy this 00:13:232 (2) - and ctrl+g ctrl+h it's fine as is i think
-00:24:924 (3) - dis stack is there a reason behind? anyway not gonna point them out anymore blame osu
-00:28:770 (4,1) - improve a bit blanket tried
-00:54:463 (1) - NC doesnt fit well imo
-01:06:155 (6) - NC same
i cant find any other problems since myself im inspired by you and trying trying to maybe be at least half as gud as you ;w;

theres something with aimod.that the kiai is not long enough,i guess theres not really a way to fix it v:
[thx pishi]rest looks good
- 00:06:770 (3) - make this a curved slider,maybe something like that? uhm ok
00:21:540 (1) - wouldnt it be ,,easier'' if you extend the slider until 00:21:540 (1) - and just use a repeat slider? (idk if that is supposed to be an easy or normal diff,if its a normal diff,i guess you can ignore this) it's ok as is i think
00:42:463 (1) - curve it? as i previously mentioned above linear sliders are cool too ;;
[semi loli][very loli]
- 01:21:847 (1,2,3) - maybe dont let them overlap? :v but spacing is hard
[lolis]
- 00:05:232 (9) - make this a clickable? no need tbh
00:24:924 (4,1) - either overlap those or move the 00:24:924 (4) - away,it doesnt look good imo :c i think it's ok ;;
01:13:232 (1) - curve that slider,maybe something like that? lineal sliders are cool ;;youre truly the master of blankets,not a single one that didnt look good c: xd im badtbh
- 00:34:924 (1) - why dont u NC here already? (i know because tticks later the sv changes,but technically you could nc here. correct me if im wrong) removed nc later 00:35:078 - if that's what you meant xd
01:02:617 (3,4) - i broke here like 2 times in a row,maybe move the second slider down a bit? same xd changed the pattern
01:06:155 (6) - NC here and 01:07:078 (1) - remove this NC it's on purpose to fit the music intensity
01:09:847 (1) - NC here not
