aside from nomod and dt and hd/hr and all that argument bullshit
@OP it's likely that you're associating low AR notes with sounds in the music that are a few 16th beats early. A good practice is to be able to be moderate, and it can be valuable if you understand the mapping of the song too (which in turn has a correlation to the rhythm of the music). don't worry about practicing aim vs. accuracy until you get serious about pp, that's when you'll realize what parts of a critical skillset are lacking on your end and you can maximize on that info to bring you the best you can get.
@rest of cancer convo
something i should point out about accuracy and UR...
the truth is that a lot of accuracy mishaps don't happen due to UR for the most part (unless you JUST started playing or you play a lot of streams). accuracy mishaps happen due to misreading, tensing up on maps, player mindset, etc. If you can avoid misreading/emotion conflicts, you're likely going to get a good 97% to 100% on the map. now... between 97 and 100 might lie more in maintaining a UR consistently. But please, don't act like UR is a direct correlation stat to accuracy, because it's not and to be honest unless you can consistently get 98.5+ acc you shouldn't be worrying about it.
now...
i really like reading. i consider myself to be very skilled in reading and I have confidence in reading ar7-6.
that shit doesn't bring me a single ounce of pp. it's not very important on the competitive scene because no one makes ar6 hellmaps.
so all you DT and HDHR players, you don't really have to worry about ar7-6 because that doesn't bring you pp either does it. hell i'm a "dirty?" nomod farmer and i haven't found a single direct application to reading ar6-7.
so yeah, next time i play a ar6-7 map ill be sure to hit on HR. it's better for score and better for l33t plays.
people argue all day about overpowered mods and stuff but really
if you're good
you get pp
if you're not good
go and practice or get the hell out
my two cents.
