If we reach a number of teams between 16 and 32, a qualifier round will happen (which will consist of 4 maps I will personnally craft for this tournament).

Also, due to having a pretty unexpected amount of registrations (that is not neither 16 nor 32),we will start first with a qualifier. The best 16 teams (in score) will advance to RO16, and the criteria to pass will be being in the best 16. next post will fix everything

In the end, with some internal discussions with the staff, we've decided in favor of a seeded group stage. All the matches will be held on the first weekend.
In case you are unable to play at certain times, please PM me with the unavailable times so I can accomodate your matches better.

the group stage will be in BO5 on 2.5~4* maps, and maps will be picked at random

That was A really enjoyable time from all the teams that we matched with this weekend.

Sorry for not being around this weekend @Team. Should be available next weekend. Had to take care of something for the family and well... real life > taiko.

Ok so as you guys probably noticed (?) this tournament has a little flaw, map leaking :
Once we give the maps to the 2 first teams that play a round, we need those 2 teams to keep the maps for them etc. I mean this is a sightreading tournament but sadly we can only be sure that the very first match of each round will be true sightreading.. So we have to trust all the players, please don't give the maps to anyone after your match!
We have our way to know if a map has been shared between teams but.. that's not really accurate. So yeah we really wish you all to be fair and keep the maps for you after your matches, this untill all matches of the round are done of course.
To any entrant who might have read this, please be sure to explain this to your team as soon as possible.

I'd like to request that you send PM's to participating players regarding match schedule being released. I know it was posted 5 days ago so I should have had plenty of time to check, but sometimes I just don't have the ability to check out the forums while I'm always able to check my email.
